Josh and Liza continued to meet in secret, hiding their relationship from their parents and from Belle. After they spent a night together, they talk and admit to each other that they have been in love with each other since the University.
Their happiness is somehow ruined by the fact that Belle starts to suspect that there is something going on between them. She shares her suspicions with Hellen, Josh’s mother, who tries to fix Liza with another man. Liz goes to the blind date, because she cannot say no to her mother-in-law, but although she likes the man, her heart already belongs to Josh.
Finally, Josh tells Belle that their engagement is over, but she refuses to accept it. That same day, Liz realized that she might be pregnant and that fact changes the situation for all of them
