Bluegrass Obsession is a standalone novel, the second in the sizzling Bluegrass Billionaire Trilogy by Alice Ward and Jessica Blake. While it can be read alone, it is recommended that you first read Bluegrass Seduction, the first book in the Trilogy, in order to understand the plot better.
Alice Ward is the bestselling author of dozens of hot and steamy contemporary romances. She’s an amazingly prolific writer, releasing a new book almost every single month. Her books are widely read, especially by women and any other lovers of the romance genre. My Stepbrother, My Lover, was her first smash hit.
5 Star Kindle Unlimited Read Dear heaves, it seems that no matter what Auggie and Worth just can't catch a break. Not only do they have to deal with Linc coming back from the dead... But he's a freaking psychopath. To make matters worse, just when you think the coast is clear fast forward twelve years and monsters pop up again, not only threatening the family, but kidnapping as well...
To make the kidnapping worse, Ford was already exhibiting psychological issues. However, while breaking free he does the unthinkable for a twelve year old, and does it with out emotions or remorse.
Then as if Shit wasn't bad enough, issues pop up with Ford. While the courts and family are trying to give him what he needs, Ford is brutally attacked. This puts a chain of events in order that only the wealthy and stupid would see as acceptable. Their lives are basically tale spinning out of control into controlled havoc.
I received this for my honest review. This book is amazing, Worth and Auggie have even more challenges to face and they have to find a way to trust one another but every time you think that it is going well something happens and it grips you where you can't put it down. You realise with all the money that they have it cannot buy the emotional happiness that they deserve, Worth learns that his brother Linc is still alive and is out to destroy him. This is a definite full on suspense, emotional, gripping read.
Lot of repetition from 1st book. This was supposed to be a standalone book, but really it was a continuation of the 1st one. A lot of extra peripheral descriptions. Skimmed a quarter of book, didn't catch my interest and was a little unbelievable. Auggie and Worth had a misunderstanding, tried to get back at each other, blah, blah, blah. Had a child, Ford, who had sociopathic tendencies. He killed his uncle, Linc (who by the way, came back from the dead...twice). They sent him to be institutionalized, where he was beat up. He escaped and was raised by family friend, Brandon, and they went into hiding. Worth has been depositing money into an account in order for them to survive. The flow of the book was also choppy. Ford was a baby, then next thing you know, he's 12-13 without and build up to it. The next chapter starts and grew up. This was supposed to be a standalone, but it ends in a cliffhanger. Alt POV. Auggie and Worth.

I'm on the fence with this one...I enjoyed the first book Bluegrass Seduction that left us with one whopper of a cliffhanger, and this book picked up with the return of Linc. Worth and Auggie have started their life together only to have it disrupted by the return of the bother they both thought had died, he explained what had happened and boy oh boy that was one crazy story. Now that Linc is back he wants what he feels is his birthright. I have to say that Linc's story was a strange one and not one I had been expecting. At one point the story jumps to a point of time where Ford is now twelve and starts showing signs of a typical pre-teen...but as time goes on you realizes there is nothing typical about him. This book was a long one that had so many twists and turns you just never knew what was going to happen next. We were left with another cliffhanger and I am very curious to how everything is going to play out in Bluegrass Rebellion.

I enjoyed this second book and love that each one is a separate story that adds to the previous. I loved reading about their son, Ford, and the discoveries they make as a couple. *explicit content*
I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.
Loved this book. The drama continues for Auggie and Worth. I fell for them, as they just cannot seem to catch a break. But they could use some better communication between the 2 of them. I think they are too smart for their own good at times. The way they hide things from each other and then exact revenge is highly entertaining. My goodness, are they hilarious. Their story kept me glued to the pages like a total addict. Cannot get enough of The books that Alice and Jessica create together, and they are just getting better and better. The quality and talent they have a mind blowing. I have stated that many times, but it is just so true that I cannot not omit it from my review. I will tell anyone that will listen how amazing these books are. The wait for each book, while not long at all, has me anxious to read what how they are going to top this one. Cannot praise them enough for the effort that goes into each book. This series is amazing, and everyone should have this on their to read list.
The saga of the LeViere clan continues. The world of privilege and wealth woven into the lives of Auggie and Worth LeViere becomes real. All of the characters are multifaceted and troubled in their own ways. They struggle to rise above their troubles. They are a product of their upbringing. They have made mistakes and they pay for them in many ways. There is great love and passion as well as the depths of despair. The writing is superb and the story heartfelt and thoughtful. I knew Jessica Blake from other books but Alice Ward is new to me. Together, they are unstoppable! I usually do not like cliffhangers but somehow there seems to be an ending to this book and then a new beginning for the next one. All 3 of the trilogy are written as stand-alone but reading in sequence will answer some questions before they come up. I read into the night and early in the morning to finish this one! What a fantastic ride. Most Highly Recommended

Cannot get enough of these authors together, and the books so far are amazing. I am on edge waiting for the next book. The really good thing is that you do not have to wait too long for each instalment. I would definitely recommend this as a must read.
"I was given an arc for an honest review" What another great story. Even though this a standalone, I truly recommend to start with the first one, it will answer some questions. I loved, it just gets better and better. I love Worth and Auggie but they need to start trusting each other in order to get through everything their going through. Worth learns that a family member is not dead and is trying to ruin his reputation. There are twists and turns and it keeps you on your toes, I was shocked at the ending and can't wait to find out what happens.
I do not want to give away to much of this book. But it is a great read. Worth and Auggie are two really good characters. That go though some trails. With a resurfacing dead brother a kidnapping this two work thought and stay strong. I would definitely say it is a pick up and read type of book.
When danger and sadness surrounds Worth and Auggie how will they handle it? Will the return of the long lost brother Linc cause issues between them? Enjoy this story of continued love and strength from within. I enjoyed this second book in the series.
