Study Abroad 101 by Wendy Williamson presents everything U.S. college students need to know about studying abroad, from before they select a program to after they return, through 101 easy-to-navigate sections. In its third edition, this popular world travel guide has been readily used by students, advisors, teachers, and professors for more than a decade. It is consistently ranked among the best sellers in Amazon's Student Travel Guides and is considered to be one of the most useful travel books for young adults.
The beginning seems painfully obvious (maybe it's not to some), but I was rather surprised at the depth of the end chapters. I found this book to have some very valuable information, though some is probably outdated. Give it to a teen who wants to study abroad.
