Love those Alpha females that can hold their own in the face of danger, and especially with their mates!

Every single one of these stories is a standalone, but this bundle is even better because you can read each and every members story in one sit. Actually this is the second time I read these stories because I read each individually as they were published, but this was even better the second time around cause I got to read them straight through.

Wolf Protector is the story of Trent and Erika. Trent has been in love and known, as a wolf shifter, that Erika with her very mysterious ability is his soul mate for the past 10 years... Convincing her of that is another story. Erika has always been very weary of any one around her because of her special abilities which scared her mother so much that she dropped her off at an orphanage at age 3. The only person she trusts and who knows of her gift is her boss Brock. The unit she belongs to FPU (Federal Paranormal Unit) has a non-disclosure policy which prevents anyone from knowing the others ability. When she met Trent 10 years ago, she knew that she was lost to him, but her distrust has prevented her from acting on it, so she stays away from the ever lingering hot Trent.

Dangerous Protector centers on the headstrong Brock, head of the FPU. His mate disappeared on him 10 years ago and now she re-emerges as his boss! Will Cyn and Brock be able to contain the love and lust that never died. Will Cyn be forced to leave again in order to spare the love of her life the pain she could cause him, or will she finally realize that her hybrid Brock is not going to let her out of his sight this time no matter the consequences.

Unwanted Protector is the story of bad boy Tony Ramirez and Jane. 10 years ago Tony found his mate and made love to her. Now he wonders why every time he sees the unshakable Jane he and his tiger desire her so much yet deny that she is their mate, how can she be immune to his charms, he can't even be with another female. 10 years ago Jane did the unthinkable to her true mate and she has lived with the pain since. Seeing him everyday and not being able to act on her desires is surely going to kill her. But as they say, Fate won't be denied.

These 3 books are wonderful and I really hope that Ms Taiden plans on continuing to write about this Unit.

So I read each of these books separate then together I guest you could say that go a little over board well I do. I take reviews very serious and I know most readers read them are a little skeptical especially when you rate them five stars. However, I have to admit I only review authors I liked and I know they have never disappointed me. The storyline and the characters are easy for me to enjoy. I love when there is a good hero and the heroine isn't bad and she is a BBW ( Big Beautiful Woman). The heroes in this series are each sexy, kind and not a man-whore. The heroine is smart, witty and strong too. Thees stories kept me engaged and I was enjoying it each one until the end. I enjoyed the books all the way until the end, each story has its own. I know if you read this you will have to read other books of Milly's, because she is a author you can't read one of her books without being excited about the next book in this series to be continue. I have been a fan of this lovely lady for some years no matter if her books are short or long it's her storylines that keep me coming back. Milly is such a awesome storyteller I would have easily ranked her books higher if it was possible. She is one of the authors I use my one click option for.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I'm a hopeless romantic and this book gave me romance and so much more. This is a Fantastic series it's scorching hot, sexy, it has violence and sassy attitudes. The Heroines are BBW with Alpha males that wants to claim their mates. If this is not the kind of stuff you like to read, skip this book. However, if you're a fan of all things naughty, sexual tension, action and humor, this is perfect for you. Enjoy! This is a great book to add to your TBR list. I'm so excited about reading the next book in this series. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone. It needs to be on your must read list.

I have enjoyed the works of Milly Taiden for quite a while. As a Paranormal Romance reader, I have been often discouraged that authors are more focused on the sex scenes than having anything more than a wisp of story line as a vehicle for stringing together instances of raunchy rollicking. Hey, I love me some hot and nasty, but I want a story to go with it. And, mostly, Milly doesn’t let me down in the boxed Federal Paranormal Unit set. I had read the first in the box, Wolf Protector, some time ago, then wandered away (as usual) before checking out the next two, Dangerous Protector and Unwanted Protector. Having the whole series as a boxed set on Kindle Unlimited was a real treat, as my budget right now is so tight it squeaks! So what to do but write a review in thanks?

The first, Wolf, is the story I had read previously and enjoyed. Erica Villa is a Profiler for the Federal Paranormal Unit, and one strong cookie. Her particular skills are hidden from the others on her team, other than their boss, Brock. He is the one who has always stayed with her, allowing her to exercise her skills in private, without the others knowing just what makes her different, and so exceptional at her job. But now, Brock has to leave her in the hands of her team members. Buchanan and Ramirez are shifters, and ‘man whores par excellance’ swooping in on every woman who crosses their path. Jane is their computer maven, brilliant, sensitive, and very private. Of course, Buchanan has been sniffing up Erica’s tail for the ten years they have worked together as a team, though Erica will be damned before she allows a Casanova like him to make her just another conquest. Yes, some women really ‘don’t’ fall all over themselves like idiots over the “Bad Boy” which made her refreshing. But when she is thrown into his care, and he see exactly what she suffers while doing her job, his constant longing for the woman he has always wanted, but who went out of her way to stay away from him, leaves him determined to protect her at all costs. Of course the HEA is there, but the story keeps it interesting.

Dangerous, the second in the FPU series, introduces us to two new characters to the team. Martin Galvez, the uptight FBI department head who is determined to take over the FPU at all costs, even though, as Cynthia Vega, the new head of the FPU, puts it, he never will head the group, “Because you’re not special.” And Cynthia herself, who was put in place by Galvez to be his eyes and ears, pushing out Brock for top spot in the team. The only thing is, Cynthia has no intentions of telling Galvez anything. Take that, overblown politician ego!

When Cynthia finds herself in the position of being the boss of her ex-lover things are hard enough. Especially with his feelings over her walking out on their engagement ten years ago without a word. But when she gets a call from back home, a place she hoped never to return to again, Brock is determined to go with her to find what has happened to her niece who disappeared. What they find there opens up old wounds, and could very well lead to Cynthia’s death. Another good entry to the series.

Then? Then we get to Unwanted . . . and the whole freakin’ thing blows up, falls apart, and well, just Eww. I would swear that someone else other than Milly wrote Unwanted and she simply added it to her series without even reading it first. The dialog is stilted, the story line unbelievable, there was no logic to the story, and the tone was over-the-top preachy and unbearably ridiculous. Hey, I totally agree with the basic ‘save the environment’ sentiment, but this was just, just, Ugh. The whole thing reeked. I made myself flip through it, but I couldn’t like the book at all. While the other two are a solid 4 as paranormal romance, I can’t give this one more than a one, and a grudging one at that. There were a lot of signs that Milly didn’t write this (or she did it on drugs), from the lack of contraction use to the awful dialog and stilted writing style.

Overall, read the first two, but give the third a hard skip. It left a bad taste in my mouth after enjoying the first two.

A great set of three books that is a great bargain too.

#1 Wolf Protector - 5*
A subset of the FBI, the Federal Paranormal Unit (FPU) is an elite squad of supernaturals dedicated to solving missing person cases. Members of the team do not necessarily know what everyone else's ability is, which suits her as Erica has a gift that enables her to connect to the crime, but it does cause her to pay a really deep personal cost that makes her have a tortured life for a while. Her latest case will team her with agent and wolf shifter Trent Buchanan - a man she has desired for years but as he is a womaniser she would never admit to that. However, Trent knows that Erica is his mate and wants her to the exclusion of anyone else. He has spent years trying to patiently wait for her to admit she wants him too, but even baiting her seems to fail in getting her to admit it. When they have to work one on one in a race to find a serial killer, his patience (and Erica's resolve) wears very thin, but when he finds out about her ability can he accept her for who (and what) she really is and protect her from the horrors she will suffer? This case is going to push them both right to the edge where Erica is going to have to risk it all and Trent is probably going to have to put his own life on the line in order to make sure his mate is protected.

I loved this story which has plenty of drama and danger as they battled to work out who the serial killer was as well as working out their own relationship. There was plenty of emotions and feelings at times in this story as well as twists and turns in the story as they worked through it all. I loved the clear way this was written and the way that everything was easy to understand and feel everything. A great introduction to the series as well as a love story mixed into a murder mystery. Contains some sexual content.

#2 Dangerous Protector - 4*
Shifter and head of the Federal Paranormal Unit has lived for the last ten years without the woman that he loves who is also his mate just making sure that he helps others and accepting that he has no personal life. Then she suddenly returns. Cynthia Vega felt that she had a very good reason to leave the only man she has ever loved after she had accepted his marriage proposal, but now she is back and is apparently now his boss. Brock is determined not to ignore the chemistry between them nor the past that they share - as far as he is concerned he needs to clam his mate finally as well as prove that their passion is hotter than before. He just needs to know what her explanation is so he can understand why he has suffered all this pain. It appears that some secrets are not going to stay buried in the past and Cynthia's reluctance may end up being the key to their own destruction. Can they resolve everything and survive all of this?

This was a story which explained a lot of things in the past from both the point of view of the story as well as Trent and Cynthia. There was definitely a case of decisions made without a discussion festering over time and making matters worse as well as a dramatic mysteries that were woven together into a story that we were all taken through as we read this book. It was full of twists and turns as we all had to work through the multiple layers. Well written with lots of thoughts and emotions as we were all able to go on the same journey as the characters in the book. Contains some sexual content.

#3 Unwanted Protector - 5*
Both Jane Donovan and shifter Tony Ramirez work for the Federal Paranormal Unit and Jane has lived a lie for the past 10 years as she has run from reality and the temptation that is Tony, but this year her holiday getaway is filled with more than relaxation as there is a dead man on her cabin's kitchen floor when she arrives there. Suddenly keeping Tony away is not so important. Tony has wanted Jane for the last ten years - she might not be his mate, but he can't ignore the attraction he feels towards her so when he gets a strong feeling that he needs to check on her as she is in danger he decides he needs to crash her vacation and take whatever punishment that leads to. But when he arrives at the cabin she is not there and no one knows where she can be. Working out who the man suddenly seems irrelevant when a small pink-haired child makes an appearance and she needs help.
Unfortunately for Jane, the trouble with her small lie is that it will grow with time and the truth is likely to come to light before she is ready for it. So now they have a murder, a child, a mystery and their attraction to each other which is impossible to ignore. Can they get to the bottom of everything and work out their relationship and what the truth actually is?

I loved this story which had a great combination of a mystery, a lie, a very special child and love and devotion that was impossible to ignore. The way that the truth came out was typical of the way that secrets will come out eventually as they will not stay hidden forever. It was well written and very easy to read and understand. I could feel the frustration from Tony as well as the determination from Jane as she kept to her ideals and what she was striving to achieve. The ending was very unexpected and I now need to go and look to see if there is a new series that carries on with the story. Contains some sexual content.

Come and meet the members of the Federal Paranormal Unit as they solve cases using their special abilities and talents. Each story is full of action, suspense, mystery, and steamy romance. Here are my reviews for each book you'll find in this set.

Wolf Protector - Fantastic start to this series. This is one of my favorite type of stories to read mixing the paranormal and law enforcement and it exceeded all my expectations. It was a great introduction to the team and I liked that all their gifts/species wasn't identified right away leaving more to discover in future stories. The banter between Trent and Erica was one of my favorite parts and had me laughing out loud more than once. Very steamy plus plenty of mystery, suspense, and action to keep you reading.

Dangerous Protector - Second book in the series but it can be read as a standalone. This time you have the boss, well, bosses, clashing heads. It's also a second chance love story since the two dated in college. James was leading the FPU when he finds out that his lost love is now his new boss. Cynthia left James with no warning and no way to find him thinking she was doing what was best for him. But some things can't be avoided and their love is destined. The two pair up when a member of Cyn's family goes missing. But things are not what they seem in the small town they head to and lots of secrets are uncovered making this a gripping read that had me glued to the pages.

Unwanted Protector - This book was just full of surprises! I never would have guessed some of the things I learned in this one. So many twists! Jane and Tony have an undeniable connection that just can't be thwarted by anyone or anything and it was combustible! I loved the banter between these two. Not only do you have their story, but all the other couples are brought back to work on this case as well as some unexpected visitors. You have to read this one to find out all the secrets and see what happens!

Second time reading

I had the pleaser of reading this series a while back. Saw this box set so I was happy to read it again.
As box sets go I love when an author decides to put their books in a box set. I enjoy series when they are in box sets it helps me as a reader keep them in order better as I read them and it doesn't take up all my space in my Library.

Book 1
WOLF PROTECTOR - this was a great introduction to a great series. Erica Villa has a gift, well everyone does in the FPU. But hers is taking a toll on her and Buchanan is dead set in protecting her from it. Woman are being killed and its the job of the FPU to find the killer. Twist and turns and that's just in the bedroom (lol).
Book 2
DANGEROUS PROTECTOR - I loved this book and what a twist. I don't know if I missed it but I don't understand everything about Brock. He can do some amazing things. But what IS he is my question🤔. This book was HOT, they caught the sheets on fire. Talk about a HEA.
Book 3 - Jane found her mate 10 years ago but she doesn't want a mate. To her, a mate means children and being stuck at home with them. Not living the life she wants. So she does what she can to go on with her life, to forget the happiest night of her life.
Tony knows Jane isn't his mate, he reminds himself that every five minutes. But for some reason, he is having a hard time remembering it.
This is a great addition to this series. It brings up the question of what would you do to be happy? Even if you made the wrong decision could you? Even if you had to look at the person every day, could you still deny yourself true happiness for the life you thought you needed?
Don't pass up this series. It's a great addition to Milly Taiden's long list of books. I enjoyed reading this series again. So happy to find out that it was released in a box set.

Wolfs Protector

I enjoyed this book. Erica and Trent are working on a case only their attraction keeps interfering..add to that Erica's psy gift and it's a recipe for distraction. Erica and Trent are part of a paranormal group working for the FBI. When they are charged with finding the murderer of women on a college campus, they are sent along with another member of the team. After 10 years of keeping their attraction under wraps, Erica and Trent are finally unable to not act on the feelings they share. Great story.

Dangerous Protector

Brock lost his mate Cynthia 10 years ago when she ran away from him a don his proposal. He promised not to follow her and until now, he kept his promise. Unfortunately, she is now HIS boss. How can they work together when they can't keep their hands off each other. Cynthia has never stopped loving Brock..how can she when they're mates..but she had her reasons and they haven't changed.

Brock and Cynthia are thrust back together and it's only a matter of time before they find each other in bed, where they belong. Brock is determined to find out what made her run away all those years ago and he won't let her run away again. They'll be together now and always. Loved this book. The mystery of Cynthia's missing cousin and solving Cynthia's fears made for a great a read.

Unwanted Protector

Jane and Ramirez have been holding back their attraction for years. Like all women, Jane has a good reason for her silence about them being mates..until Ramirez figures out what she did, he'll be chasing her whether she's his mate or not.

I did not care for this book as much as the others. One, Jane kept getting kidnapped and I found it irritating especially given her abilities and her FBI training. Two, I'm not into "outer space" "alien" stories, so my uninterest was realized early. Since I'm not a fan, my skepticism about the book may be biased. I enjoyed the others and the concept of a paranormal agency. If this is your genre..you'll enjoy the series.

WOLF PROTECTOR

It was Ok read but a bit frustrating. I mean there was a couple signs, that pointed out to theory and they all were blind to it. No surprise who the killer was for me, thought.
And what the heck H was doing when he finally meet his mate? I will tell you what... Nothing. I was like 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ So, he wants for her to run into his paws and all but... This going for years, not weeks. Not sure about what he was doing in that time, meaning with 'dating' other women. It wasn't clear about it. But some things he said/implied... Dude, that's not the way to inspire a girl to trust you with her heart.

DANGEROUS PROTECTOR

It's ok story, but... I really dislike when H or h makes decision for h or H. If it was reverse situation, they would be so pissed for making decision for them.
And Cyn was an idiot and a coward. Her reason for leaving James.... It could have been easily solved by getting answers and there is solutions. She wasted years because of her fear. And I had these thoughts, that maybe she was right. James deserved better. Someone who will always fight for him and wouldn't abandon because she got scared.

UNWANTED PROTECTOR

It's a second book in the series, when I makes a choice regardless of H. Once again, I have to say, if its reverse, they will be so pissed about it. I'm a bit amazed that H in this series are so forgiving. And Jane's excuse may could work 10 years ago, but not some time later, when she knew better. That you can be more then pregnant and barefoot. And still at the present, she still is conflicted about it.
Previous two books seems so simple compared to this one. Here is so much to take in. Honesty, I wasn't expecting this. It felt like its beginning, instead of the end.
What I loved here, was 6 years old, pink haired perfection.

As an whole this box set wasn't a bad read. There's wolf and tiger shifters, hybrids, psychics and aliens. A great mix of strength, power and gifts that make up a Federal Paranormal Unit that help the innocent.
Each book is a journey as the members of FPU find their mates and solve different cases. Books 1 and 2 I found were overwhelmed with sex scene after sex scene, so much so their special abilities and their situations were background stories. Book 3 however was more intense and intriguing with a whole lot less sex, ( and it was better for it).
Overall, 3 quick readable books and found the bundle free

Beautiful Protection Collection

This set was beautifully put together to give you the story of three pairs of mates that all work for a special unit of the FBI. Each one of them come with a story of why they had not mated years ago. We get to follow their journey to find why they are meant to be together.

These stories will bring your emotions to the forefront and you will find yourself laughing and crying. Each story has it's own special dynamic that makes it it's own story, but yet it brings each story together as a whole.

Trust me you will enjoy these.

Secrets

Eventhough the series title seems to be self-explanatory, some talents are kept secret from co-workers within the unit. These stories can be read as stand alone, or as an ongoing series in chronological order. The characters are sassy, funny and dedicated while dealing with their own personal issues. The sex scenes are explicit, steamy and apparently mind blowing for those involved.
I am enjoying the author's imagination, putting her own twist on some Shifter and Other origin stories. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did!
Minimal amount of errors.

This is a good box set. Loads of sex scenes though, so if you're not into that, you might want to skip it. It's got an interesting enough storyline wove through all three. But it does get a bit gruesome at times, a good bit of violence. At the end of the last book in the set, it gets a bit out there.

Well the first 2 stories were my favorite, who wouldn’t want a man like that??? The 3rd story however wasn’t my cup of tea.

Took some time to get into each book. I don't know why. They followed each other well and had a fairly seamless story line, but after reading one I took a break. Shifters, demons, aliens, FBI and world domination.

I’ve always given this author 5 stars. I just couldn’t do it this time. This series dragged on and on. The story line is decent. But it lacks the heat and spunk of her other books. It’s okay for a one time read but not something I’d reread.
