Not all romantic fantasies come with a happily ever after.
While gallivanting around Europe, artist and happy hippie, Charlize Baron-Wilde meets a charming and princely knight who awakens the romantic yearnings locked away inside her heart.
But who is this romantic hero? Caleb Tyler Merrill is not a happy camper. Restless, and dissatisfied he happens upon an American wild child stealing peanut butter from his pantry. Nothing in his life is ever the same after that.
Their sexy Roman affair however did not have a happy ending. Secret identities. Manipulation. Desire. Fascination. Regret. All intersect in the wrong place and at the worst possible time. Torn apart by pride and miscommunication, the two lovers struggle for a way forward.
The younger brother and the little sister. Will the innocent Wilde child find her hearts and flowers ending or is she right to wonder if not all knights and princes are the best choice in the long run?
The conclusion to the Wilde Women saga has it all. Humor. Love. Heartbreak. Sexy times. The bonds of family. Even a meddling grandmother and two sets of pushy parents.

Anything Suzanne puts to paper I'm all over it. She is an amazingly talented author whose books I devour as soon as released.
Merged review:
Suzanne has another best seller on her way with the conclusion to this series. I swear there is nothing this amazing author can't do! Writing about strong woman and the men that love them is something that just seems to come naturally for this lady. I have yet to pick up a book with her name on the cover and not fall in love. The stories she creates in each new book is a keeper and truly a treasure that I come back to time and again. She is my go to for an amazing happily ever after that includes a Hot Alpha and the woman who is his equal in every way.
Charlize is the baby of the Wilde Sisters, the hippie flower child, the gentle soul whose smile and love of life captivates those she encounters. She left for Italy after being accepted into a prestigious art school, though once school is done you have to accept that maybe this is not going to pay the bills. So Charlize is a sort of life coach helping people to slow down and realize there is more to life then stress and success. Her chance meeting with Caleb at a party changes everything she thought she knew.
Caleb is the baby brother to Jax Merrill and who after a tragic accident shattered his world left to escape the pain and loss leaving it far behind him and hoping to escape on the racetrack where he is a race driver for Team Crepuscolo in Italy. But after an accident on the track he is left not only with the pain and hurt from the crash he is also questioning is this really what he wants to do? He is tired of the games and the manipulation that comes with being a race driver and he is thinking maybe it’s time to go home.
What could possibly happen when these two meet. Fireworks? Passion? Laughter? Yes, but with this comes heartbreak, misunderstandings and one fleeing back home to the shelter of family. You can run from your hurt but life has a way catching up with you and what you thought you left behind is actually coming to you full circle.
I loved the snark, laughter, tenderness and mind blowing passion that Suzanne has created for Charlize and Caleb.
The laughter and the tears were in abundance within this book and I could not put it down. Suzanne did an amazing job with Charlize and Caleb. So hang on for an amazing ride with these two, yes there will be a few small bumps along the way but what a way to go!
For a while now I’ve been a fan of Halliday’s writing. The first book I read, she published under a different pen name. She reminds me a lot of Kristen Ashley on the detailed of her work, her story telling, that’s why her books tend to be long. And I don’t mind this at all.
Disclaimer: The opinions on my review are based on the fact that I’m crazy. I’m crazy because for some reason, when I start reading a story, I always go in expecting to relate to the characters, yes, I expect to relate to a character I KNOW is fictional. That’s one of the reasons I most of the times find myself being disappointed, especially when it comes to the main female character, you know, the heroine of the story.
When it comes to the Wilde Women series, I didn’t have a bad time with the heroines. I have a favorite you guys! (Rhiann from book 2).
Now, about this particular book.
The writing, as I specified before, it’s detailed and the narrative is good. The book is a tad long without dragging ass (which I hate on long books).
We finally get the story of Charlie, which I was waiting on since book 2 because when it comes to series, Suzanne Halliday always leaves you wondering about the next book without killing you with a cliffie.
Charlie is a Wilde-Baron woman, which means she has a strong personality and she’s funny. I can’t say I was totally ok with her because she was more dramatic than her sisters, and she was a runner…
“I ran away Nana. Again. He must think I’m a brat. Every damn time we hit a speed bump, I bail like a leaky boat in a rain storm.”
And let me tell you, I guess I can’t really fault her, because she is young, and afraid and all that. And besides, Halliday’s characters are thought of carefully, so there’s that.
When it comes to Caleb, he didn’t handle things how he should’ve, but hey, guy is a clutz when it comes to relationships, especially when he never had a meaningful one before. It did bother me though that he let Charlie off too easy. Yeah, he loves her, but she needed groveling in my opinion.
“Are you mad at me?” She asked. “You should be.” “No. Absolutely not. I learned my lesson, baby. Don’t beat yourself about leaving. You had to.”
No, she didn’t. Not in my opinion. Staying, talking and facing shit would have been a better course of action in my opinion. MY OPINION.
When I was done, and got to the epilogue, I was a bit bummed out that it was pretty much about Brynn-Jax than everyone else, but I guess I’ll just wait here and pray a novella pops out of the author’s head one of this days. I know I’ll be waiting for it with the same eagerness I’ve waited for all of her work.
Hopefully this review won’t cause someone to come and tell me, AGAIN, that if I hate heroines so much I should just stick to reading M/M. I’ve read lots of those too; I’ve been annoying as well.
Suzanne Halliday just happens to be one of the VERY FEW authors who don’t write women I’d like to shank. ;)
Wilde Magic was a book that I had been anticipating for a long time, and it is one that did not disappoint. Ever since I read the first book in Suzanne Halliday’s beautiful, romantic, and so thoughtfully crafted Wilde Women Series, I knew I wanted and needed each of these sisters stories. First I got Brynne and how Jax brought her and her love back to life. Then I got Rhiann and her intense second chance with Liam. And last, but certainly not least, I got Charlie and her story with Caleb with what happens when one fierce and vibrant woman, meets a man who could just be exactly what she needs.
To say I have loved each and every one of these books is putting it mildly. I have adored them. I have looked forward to them. I have loved every bit of their romance and build and heat, as they gave me stories of intense and all-feeling love. I have been blown away by the eloquent and mesmerizing writing of Suzanne Halliday that creates the most tangible experiences, and characters, and stories. I have loved every piece of the Wilde Women Series, and getting to know these three dynamic, headstrong, and vibrant sisters has been simply fabulous.
As sad as I am to see them all go, I must say Suzanne Halliday takes them all out on the highest of notes with a book that devivers it all. She gives you one last fulfilling bit with them all, and with that she gives you the phenomenal story of Caleb and Charlize. He’s Jax’s younger brother, and she’s Brynne’s little sister, and together they have a kind of fireworks that will enrapture and mesmerize you through every page. Those two start off hot and heavy to say the least, and they can’t stop thinking about each other, yet some not so great things threaten to tear their love story apart.
Wilde Magic follows Charlize and Caleb on their consuming journey together as they try to figure out what they want, what they so desperately need, and if their immense feelings for one another can see them through even the bumpiest of roads as they try to figure out their path together.
Caleb Merrill has so many sides to him, and you will fall so hard for all of them when you read this book. You’ll fall for the side of him that’s the Formula One racer, the side of him that is sweet and endearing, and the intense and alluring side of him that comes out in between. Over the course of Wilde Magic, you really get a sense of the many sides to Caleb, and how those sides came to be. Suzanne Halliday lets you dive heart first into his character to see who the real Caleb is, what the real Caleb wants, and what’s holding him back from having it all. I loved getting to understand and experience all those sides to Caleb because it really showed me what he was all about, the many intense things going on in his head, and all that he had been though. Suzanne Halliday let me understand him on the deepest of levels, and she showed me again and again what that man was all about. Even in the moments when he made his missteps and even when he faltered a bit, I got him, I loved him, and I rooted like crazy that he’d be able to find a way to figure it all out.
Charlize Baron-Wilde is a firecracker that is dazzling, vibrant, and so easy to be mesmerized by. That girl has sprit, a ton of spirit, and that spirit reveals so much about her. It shows the tenacity she has to do what she loves and believes in, it shows how open her heart is and how much she feels, and it reveals all the wonderful things that that girls has to offer to the world. I absolutely loved Charlie’s character, and I especially loved how truly and viscerally she felt. She wasn’t shy, and she didn’t hold back. She felt. She lived. She loved. Suzanne Halliday creates her character in a way that allows you to experience that literal magic with her through every page of this book, and I for one could not get enough of what that magic brought her and me as the reader as I fully experienced this book. Charlize is spirited, vibrant, and determined to get her life where she wants it to be, even if she’s not so sure yet what that actually means, and experiencing this story with her as she tried to figure it all out was nothing short of phenomenal.
The amount of feeling that exists between Charlize and Caleb is everything. It’s intense, it’s heated, and you will feel it in your bones while reading this book. From the moment those two meet, the sparks truly start to fly, and they soon find themselves building towards something neither of them expected. Their feelings soon become deeper and that’s when things get interesting. Some not so great things come their way, and force them apart, yet they soon find themselves closer to each other than they could ever believe. Through it all, both Charlie and Caleb feel so much for one another. Sometimes those feelings were good, and sometimes they weren’t so good, but boy did they feel. Suzanne Halliday creates and evokes those feelings with them through every page and she truly allows you to feel as if you are living this book with them. Feeling that, well that’s everything.
Wilde Magic and the events within it definitely put Charlize and Caleb to the test a bit. The two of them fall hard and fast for one another, but not all is as it seems, and they soon find themselves separated and reeling after some seriously shocking moments. These two definitely have a path that is bumpy and full of twists and turns, yet through it all, they’re both there, trying to make sense of it all, and trying to figure out what in the world they’re going to do with all the feeling they feel. Those twists and turns and bumps aren’t easy for Charlize and Caleb, but they reveal so much about these two. Those events push them to be honest, to realize things about what they want and need, and it forces them to take a good old look at their lives and to take stock. Though it isn’t always easy for those two, what I will say is that it is so beyond worth it, and you will love getting to be there through it all!
The title of this book has the word magic in it, and I don’t think there could have been a better title for the story you get within its wondrous pages. This book, this story, the feelings within it, and the characters that burst from it are full of vibrancy and color and life. It’s dazzling to experience, and it shows the true magic that Suzanne Halliday created with her words. She shows that that magic can change everything, and that the feelings that come with it are so deeply felt. Charlize and Caleb share that magic, and that tangible vibrancy brings it all to life in a way that will have you feeling and living it all in the most all-encompassing way.
Like any of Suzanne Halliday’s books, Wilde Magic has this true sense of family within it from the supporting characters. That’s one of the major reasons I love her books because she always creates this sense of loyalty, this sense of connection and togetherness that emanates from each page and brings all these characters together. The bond and relationships between all of the Baron-Wilde sisters is fantastic to experience, and you will love how they all bring you into the fold. The dynamic between them is fun and engaging and so authentic, and how that all weaves its way into the story will have you feeling the deeply felt connection they all share. Add to that the brotherly relationship between Jax and Caleb, two sets of parents that are meddling in the sweetest of ways, and the matriarch of the family, with the one and only Bryanna Charles Baron-Wilde, and you have yourself one dynamic and distinctive family that will have your heart beyond full.
Wilde Forever was a story that I loved. It was a story of fireworks, connection, and what can happen when you meet someone who makes you want to hope and feel it all. This is a story of life and love, and what can happen when things get a little bumpy on that path to finding what you so desperately want and need. The story in this book with Caleb and Charlize allows you to experience the literal magic of falling, and how even though giving into that fall might be scary and it might hurt a bit, it is oh so worth feeling and experiencing every ounce of.
Caleb and Charlize’s story in Wilde Magic was full of the best romance, feels, and story that a girl could ask for. Suzanne Halliday allowed me to understand these characters on the deepest of levels in the authentic world she created within this book. She gave me every single wonderful bit of them, and I simply couldn’t get enough.
As sad as I am to say goodbye to them all, I have to say that the Wilde Women have given me one helluva ride full of romance and love and life and magic, and that will stay with me forever.
This series is phenomenal, and Suzanne Halliday brought it to a fulfilling end with her unique and beautiful writing. This series doesn’t disappoint one bit, and neither does Suzanne Halliday, so I am telling you, you need to read these books. They are fantastic, and I can’t recommend them to you enough!
This has been another fantastic series by Suzanne Halliday! I loved learning more about the Wilde crew, and all of the other interesting characters in their lives. Although each story ends with a HFN type ending, you can find more of their lives in the Justice Family series. I would highly recommend that you read the Justice Brothers series prior to the Justice Family series, as it is the beginning of how Justice came to be. They're definitely a wild bunch, and exactly why the Wilde sisters and their families fit right in! They're all absolutely fantastic stories, and you certainly won't be disappointed. I would also consider reading the House of Bishop series, which has a lot of character crossover from all of the mentioned series. I honestly don't know what the correct reading order is, but you can either check out the authors website or read the books by the release dates. I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.
Charlie and Caleb are a fun couple. It takes them a while to find their way, truly a Wilde journey. I especially enjoyed the way the siblings and other family members interact with each other, and the way there is a cohesive follow up on the stories of previous characters.
I only gave this book 4 stars, not because I didn't like it, but because I found it a little disjointed.
The youngest Wilde sister has a very hard time achieving her happily ever after. With the dual identity of Cal/Ty. It is not an easy journey, but a very satisfying one when they eventually achieve it.
Can you go around the world and fall in love, then only to come back home for your sisters wedding and find out that the man you're in love with is her new brother in law - Charlie and Cal is an entertaining story - it was hard to put down.
I loved all three of these. Charlie is off the wall funny. Caleb, matches her whit word for word. Their chemistry is amazing. Story is beautiful. Recommend all 3 books.
OMG these are the best reading material can"t put down good
OMG these are the best reading material can"t put can"t put down great. Would definitely recommend to anyone. From the Justice books to the Wilde books.
This book blindsided me with a refreshing, unique voice as it told a story blending laughter, love and passion together in an intoxicating mix!
From their first encounter I knew Charlize Baron-Wilde and Caleb Tyler Merrill were in for a wild ride (no pun intended). And so was I! They both grew up immersed in, and loving, words in all their beautiful nuances so it was no surprise their words and story read like a literary love song…
“An undertone of subtle scents slithered into her senses and wound sinuously around every never ending.”
Caleb was a successful race car driver who couldn’t drive. He had no idea how art therapy, delivered by the irresistible Charlie was going to change his life.
“A little bit rock ‘n roll, a double dose of 70’s chic and the finishing touches of a stage actress.” “He had the sort of lips a girl could lose her shit over.”
I loved each and every scene between these two as their physical attraction morphed into this incredibly close and intimate relationship. They were ying and yang and Mo and Curly rolled together in a lot of zen. I laughed so much at the banter between these two - dialogue that read like a hilarious standup routine at times.
“A hand in the bush is better than a worthless dick.”
Blend that with moments of thought-provoking insight and loving acceptance and I was completely captivated. I started this series backwards and can’t wait to catch up on the other sisters of the Wilde family!
Words I am adding to my vocabulary: “snark-ronyms” “foot prisons” “tonsil tickle”
Another Wow! ! Loved this series! ! ! Now we have met all three sisters and boy do they complement each other and their personalties.... also loved their grandmother who likes to meddle and who's name is Bryanna Charles Baron-Wilde. The girls parents took her name and broke it down for their daughters names of...Brynn, Rhiann, and Charlize. What a great idea! ! !
This book is about Charlize and Caleb (Ty). They meet in Italy and have a hot and heavy sexual romance for a few weeks then decide to call it quits. Neither can seem to forget about the other but they don't know who each other really is. Caleb goes by Caleb Tyler (Ty for short) and Charlize goes by Charlie with no last name. Fast forward a few months and they both are back in the states to celebrate the wedding of Brynn and Jax (from Wilde Forever). Charlie is Brynn's baby sister and Caleb is Jax's younger brother. They end up seeing each other at the wedding rehearsal party and Caleb makes like he never met Charlie. Soooooo starts the magic of whether these two will find a way to reunite for their own HEA or part ways...
Well written story line but felt the book was toooo loooong and could have done without some of the sex scenes which I sometimes skipped over. Otherwise it still was a great book and would recommend this whole series! ! !
I have been waiting for Charlie’s story since I read Wilde Heart!!! I just knew I was going to love Charlize and I was so not disappointed!!!!! These three sisters have woven their way into my heart and just won’t let go!!! The dynamic between them is just brilliantly written!
I loved Caleb and Charlie together, I mean figure the odds of traveling across the world and finding the love of your life, who just so happens to be your sister’s brother-in-law and nobody has made the connection lol…
I loved Caleb, although dude, really how dumb can you be lol…. It’s that Y chromosome I tell ya… He was just so cute and sexy, but he takes not knowing what being in a relationship means to a whole new level!!! Thank god, Ms. Halliday was able to redeem him.
That Charlie, for as innocent as she was, she holds so true to the Baron-Wilde name and is just so damn spunky, I just loved her!
This was a great wrap up to the series. The family dynamic, witty banter and love they have for each other is just fabulous! Thanks for another great read, Ms. Halliday!!!
This the 3rd book in the "Wilde Women Series" about 3 sisters and it does not disappoint! Caleb "Cal" Merrill is a race car driver in Rome who is living with physical pain due to an accident but also mental pain due to a lose he believes was his fault. He is also sick of the paparazzi he wants normal. Charlize "Charlie" Baron-Wilde is a V card carrying flowery, wild child who's eat healthy, stop over thinking things and live your life, smell the roses therapy helps athletes and celebrities get past the pain that's in their heads. They meet one night after a party and its chemistry with peanut butter. These two take it slow and really don't know who the other is but they burn hot and fall quickly until hurtful misunderstandings end it just as quickly. Is all lost though? Back in the states they are destined to meet again. Can a wedding and an interfering loving family "that you've met in the 1st two books" help bring these hardheaded lovers back together? Trust me you need to read and enjoy this roller coaster romance. Was give an ARC of this book for my honest review
I absolutely loved this series!! After finishing the third book, you see how all three of these sisters complement each other. Every one is different but their bond is amazing.
Charlie is the youngest sister. She ran away to Europe to be an art therapist for athletes. While in Italy with a rugby team she meets Cal Tyler, a Formula One driver. Cal ran away to Europe to be a race car driver.
Fate truly brought these two together. They connected over the comforts of home and their time together was intense. After a fight, Charlie leaves and comes home for her sister's wedding. What a surprise that the groom's brother is Cal.
As with the other books, there is such a connection built with the characters. It was great to have some chapters be from Jax and Brynn's POV. All of the story lines were wrapped up but there's definitely room for future books if the author decides.
I am a huge Suzanne Halliday fan, and could not wait for this installment of the Wilde Women series. I was not disappointed!!! She wrote Charlie and Cal's story so honestly, sweet, sad, funny. I love how Suzanne gets to the bone of things and makes you feel so strongly.
I cannot say enough about this book and the author. If you have not discovered Suzanne Halliday yet, do yourself a wonderful favor and start today!!
The Wilde sister series is now one of my favorite series. Charlize is the youngest but I think one of the strongest. And Caleb is the right guy for her.
This is a beautiful story of adventure, disappointment, determination. A story of family, love, hope and dreams.
I'm so glad Charlie and Caleb finally figured it out!! Nana is a hoot...a wise one, but still a hoot. I don't want this trilogy to end..I want more...like more about Jonas, Nana (and her vault), Liams half sister and does Rhi get her wish to write Nanas autobiography. Please don't leave me hanging. I need more!!!
Caleb and his Contessa really burn it up and almost burn out. Lots of great turns and off road riding with each other. Love how books one and two tie into each other. My heart melts at least a hundred times. So romantic and funny. I can't wait to read it again.
Another great read for an amazing series about the Baron-Wilde sisters. Lots of laughter, lots of tears, but lots of love. Such witty banter, which brings out the hilarious giggles. Charlize and Caleb are one sexy and hot couple. Love their love story. Can't wait for the next sightings of the Baron-Wilde sisters and their alpha loves.
Charlie and Caleb Hippy meets Hot Shot and a romance begins over peanut butter lol! love how the story brings all the main characters together with a small does of Justice thrown in. Can't wait for more!
This book could not have moved any slower unless the author had tied twenty pound weights onto each period. Do not read. A total waste of time and money.
Suzanne Halliday brings the 5 star magic again. Wilde Magic is the last of Suzanne Halliday's Wilde Women series featuring the final Wilde sister. As with all of her books she brings family, humor and heat. I loved this book and the entire series. Highly recommend.
