Rs. 20,00,000/- as signing amount, Rs. 20,00,000/- for the first draft (pre-substantial editing), Rs. 25,00,000/- when the script is ready to go for printing and Rs. 35,00,000/- on the day of launch of the book. It was a never-expected, but a dreamt deal of Rs. 100,00,000/- for the salesman-turned-writer, Vyom Garg . A span of one year with blind turns of the uphill and downhill had been travelled with a level-headed approach by him. It was not easy for an impatient person known for his lose temperament during the first decade of his career. He had published two books before he got to this deal, both the subjects were distant from each other but attempted the same purpose – educating the reader in an entertaining way to reduce the chaotic unnerving happenings of the society. There was a mix of emotions giving him goose bumps at regular intervals. He experienced anxiety, excitement, ecstasy and above all the celestial feel of a dream come true. He knew that he possessed the knowledge backed by the skill of presenting it in a way, which not only appealed to the generation of today but also was welcomed by the elderly with open arms. But was that enough to take him to the blue moon of his dream? He was no novice in the writing fraternity and was aware of the presence of many others, better than him in both the aspects of knowledge and writing. Then what made this happen to him and not to others? He had the answer to that ‘why’. It was the power of Mantras which he had not only been practicing but also been living it. He had been regularly chanting the Mantra for creativity and for success too. He was shown the path; he just had to walk through. It had all begun in the year 2013, back, when a typical trait, curiosity, of his persona got him to open the cover of a book and turn pages. Shiv Puran was at his place since decades, but he started reading it as a bed time story lying on the bed. From there on things changed and the journey of a veiled personality took over the palpable one. Even before the completion of the first Adhyay(Chapter), he was introduced to Mantras. Most of these Mantras were elementary but with the inclusion of every new facet the curiosity kept gearing up. Resultantly, over a period of time he had practically abandoned (tyag) the television, outings and other books, to get drenched in the new illuminating knowledge he was exposed to. Let us be a part of that journey. In the month of December 2013 he was deported...
Mantras are considered as the ultimate chanting process which gives a person a better concentration, a calm mind, and other useful things. Apart from that, they are considered to be a source of positive energy. This book is a conversation between two people, a common man, and a mathematician, about the mere benefits of mantras and the correct way of performing it. The book is a well researched and simpler composition of great content that is very useful to everyone.
Turned out to be a good read. With simple narration, the story started off at a nice pace. I had to agree with some points that were mentioned in the beginning. Teachers need to let the students grow out of a box and tell them it’s okay to not fit in. And when you profess your notion,it becomes inappropriate for them. They think there is a way we are supposed to speak and behave. Anything out of that has always been looked down upon with barely concealed contempt and dislike. How often have we felt the strong sense of discomfort wash over us ? Because your thoughts are a step ahead and that, they hold so much wisdom within. Do you think you can succeed without the constant looming presence of the society and it’s highly silly expectations. I have listened to sadhuru ji briefings on siddhi and of its powers and psychic abilities. This book was engaging in every way and rightly so, mantras are indeed quiet powerful and sacred. There is something supreme about them and the way they make your mind word. To grab such wonderful concepts and weave them seamlessly into a solid storyline, wow.
I picked up the book due to title, I thought it will be a non fiction but to my surprise it turned out completely different. I will briefly summarise the blurb. Vyom is the protagonist of the story. He believes or rather than we can say use the mantras. This is the story of a sane common man and an insane mathematician. I won’t discuss much of a blurb as it’s already mentioned here in blurb section. But I will discuss highlights. What I like the most about this book is I liked the author has described practical aspects to follow like if you want to follow, the author has described complete guidelines like closing eyes, taking positions, breaths etc. And other thing is to incorporate story in such concept. I like these two components the most. Other than that, the plot is unique. I liked the narration style. It’s smooth and easy. Language of the book is lucid. And I liked the chosen characters. They are different in nature so we can relate to either of them. Overall good one.
Mantras bring out all the positive energy inside you. Mantras turn around negative, repulsive vibrations into more positive and attractive vibrations. This is the general advantage of mantra chanting. . “Vakratunda Maha-Kaaya Surya-Kotti Samaprabha Nirvighnam Kuru Me Deva Sarva-Kaaryeshu Sarvadaa ||” all of us are familiar with this divine and powerful mantra. . Not describing much about the story because it is already penned down in the blurb, that the story is revolve around a debate between common man and a mathematician, considering the miraculous powers of Mantras. . Book is mainly focusing on the correct technique of mantra chanting. How a person should breath, how their body posture should be and much more. . Narration is praise worthy and fast paced. I never expect it will influence me so much before start reading this. Being a mythology lover I will surely recommend this.

The story not only breaks the myths and wrong practices revolving around the Mantra chanting but also spreads light on the right ways and the practical approach towards the practice of chanting Mantras.
Mantras have the power to make you achieve anything you could wish-for. All you need is to practice in a scientific way, which is discussed in detail as a content of this book.
I had no expectations when I started the book but the book turned out to be pretty informative. The writing style is good and the narration makes the book even better. It was a good read.
Do Not take this book, with a belief that it's about mantras as in general. If at all you do so, you'll be disappointed. Take this as a fiction or a self help book, and you'll find alot of things in it.
This is a well researched book, there's no doubt in that. 'What is the use of chanting mantras, if we've no idea about the stuff? Mantras are supposed to chanted by knowing it, the entire concept.'I totally agree with this thought of the author. No, you'll not find mantras here, but the concept and many things, we never knew we needed.
The book has an amazing plotline. It's overall a fast paced book. The narration is crisp and easy. The book gets a nice connection with the reader. The cover is beautiful. The language used by the author is simple. Overall a nice read.
The Science of Mantra by author Darpan Goyal is a nice interesting fiction. Story revolves around Vyom, how he is introduced to and realises the science of mantras, positive effects of the same in his life, how he uses his knowledge to get desired results. Coming from a orthodox family most of information written about Mantras were known but the way Gayatri Mantra and Mahamrityunjay mantra are interpreted was very insightful and nice, more agreeable and made more sense, can say highlight of the book. Few spelling mistakes here and their could have been avoided. Plot flows easily, characters portrayed appear relatable, language was simple.
Overall a good plot and feel a nice one time read.
This is the story about the discussion of power of mantra. Here the discussion is between a common man and a mathematician. This is a book which will break all your myths about reciting mantras. It completely refused the way we chant a mantra. The way we chant the mantra is completely wrong. This book give a complete idea how to recite a mantra and what are the benefits in a impressive way. The writing style of the book is simple but the way it described the mantras is beyond imagination. The language used is lucid crispy and easily understanding. The plot is something different and it will surely bring a change in your life. The narriation of the book is wonderful and a whole make it a good read
Vyom Garg is the main character of the book. He has never dreamed of something big in his life, but he trusts the mantras he uses every day. Vyom Garg knows a lot of mantrs which is perfect for someone how to use and what's the reason and why one should use it. Through this book you will come a lot of things about the mantras which will help a lot in life. The book is written very well. Writing style is simple and the concept is unique. Vyom Garg written a book about mantras and get a lot of money he hadn't dreamed in life. Well written book with a completely different concept.
I actually liked the book a lot. Mantras are often used in our country in various reasons and are always praised for their effectiveness. Reading a book related to this topic was really interesting. Their importance is beautifully mentioned here. I appreciate the hard work of the author as he must have researched a lot to come up with this wonderful book. Vyom Garg is the main protagonist of the book. Overall, i liked the book. The cover picture and the title compliments well with the storyline and concept. Recommended.
Well, Mantras are amazing, and undoubtedly they are praised for their effectiveness. And reading a book about them is super interesting. I was really astonished by the fact that the author has given importance to such a topic, assuming that I see the audience is quite narrow. Though the author has done a nice job selecting the topics and researching over it, I will have to say that content is less.
This book is not one among others, it is one in a many. I really enjoyed the twisted plot that the author has set up to clarify a lot many myths about the chanting of mantras in Hinduism culture. Through tha story of a man and a typically insane mathematician, the clear thoughts on the practising of mantras have been provided. It is a must read for all. Cover is pretty.
Author tried to focus on powers of mantras and the right way of chanting those mantras to make the book more interesting and engaging. Here author adopted a largely playful tone to carry forward much of the hidden treasures of myths. For me, content has always been thought provoking and tried to provide the pious atmosphere of enlightenment and wisdom of complex discussions in a simple way that left us wondering. I appreciate author's profound knowledge that made the book a relevant read.
An ancient tool to law of attraction. This book is surrounded under the main element i.e. Mantras. The importance and the significance of mantras are well described here. Also the myths and the ill or wrong practices related to mantras are also have been given focus into it. And the very idea or knowledge and learning things and how to proceed them are described here. A very informative and well researched book. The language is lucid and clear.
I started to read this book with absolutely no expectations but it turend out to be a mind changer. The conversation between an ordinary man and the mathematician is quite a turning point for the book as it clarifies all the myths that is revolving around this science of mantras and teaches us that all we need is a little patience to make things work.
If you are trying to understand and practice Mantra, better read Om Swami book on Mantras. This is more of a novel with details of Mantra technique coming here and there.
