What does it feel like when you have a best-selling detective fiction author for a boyfriend?
Whenever you offend him, he would look at you disdainfully, “A character molded after you could only ever appear in my novel as a deceased victim.”
Whenever you seriously offend him, he would threaten you, “The very next victim who dies in my novel would be named after you.”
Whenever you seriously, seriously offend him, he would add on to the previous threats, “Furthermore, the victim would have died at the hands of an extremely perverse and twisted serial killer, and would have suffered an extremely painful and terrible death.”
But, by a stroke of coincidence, if you happen to be this best-selling author’s editor, he need not resort to the above mentioned tactics. In fact, all he has to do is one, single thing –
-Delay the submission of his draft.

My most favorite Ban Li Zi novel so far. Absolutely love the FL's busybody and chaotic nature as well as the ML's quiet yet mischievous nature. I also love all the side characters and the unique nature of relationships shared by the leads with them. What I love the best is the fact that ML is a mystery writer and all the snippets of mystery and suspense that is occasionally shown. Overall, a great read!

English Title: Finding Glowing Beauty in Books
The story revolves around one famous bestseller author with his new editor.
This is kind of story where the male interest fallen in love first and because the female lead had sour past dating experience, she constantly avoid to own up her feeling. The story itself is cute, the banter between both of them are quite funny and sometimes, it feels too good to be true. Shame, they only got together at the end of the story. Also, the ending is a bit rush for my taste.
This is my first Chestnut’s novel after I heard so many times about her works. It’s a ‘feel-good’ novel but it doesn’t have the ‘great-now-i-can’t-stop-thinking-about-it’ feeling. Well, I admit it has its own charms. I may continue reading her other novels in the future.

April 16, 2016考试迫在眉睫的时候打开的，好奇题目（另外封面不花哨）。当时是之前一天更新的，64章，但最后一句话开头是“余生”，所以就权当完结了？合理性一般，前因后果也不算清晰，不过这样反而不坏，重点正好放在主人公的相处上，看得喜感满满。
