This book is intended to serve as a crash course and reference to all those who decide to study, work or travel to the United States of America. The book is broken down into chapter based on priority from Immigration and Customs to maintaining legal status. The book can be used as a reference guide and does not have to be read from start to finish. Some of the information in the book might be redundant to the readers while other information crucial. Everyone comes with different knowledge and interest. Our hope is that it is a useful book that assist people in acclimating to life in the USA.

The e-book also helps improve students’ English skills as they are forced to read and comprehend the chapters in English as opposed to buying a guide book in their own language. We have put difficult words in italics and offered explanations and practice with the words at the end of each chapter. We added vocabulary for each chapter that would be necessary to know. We gave samples of conversations that might take place in each chapter. Finally, we added resources that might help the readers such as websites, forms and information.
