A Bad Boy Forbidden Baby Romance Contains bonus book Based
That bastard got me pregnant and then he disappeared.
Handsome, ripped, and dangerous. If only I’d known that the delicious stranger was a Navy SEAL on a mission. For just one night, Emory Rush seduced me on the dance floor, carried me to his bed, and made me feel things I never could have imagined.
Then he vanished, leaving me alone and pregnant. If it weren’t for my son Mason I would think it was all a dream. A fantasy, that a man like Emory could make me feel so good.
When he shows up on my doorstep months later to warn me that my life is in danger, I can’t believe him. But soon it all becomes clear: Emory’s been hunting a group of international terrorists, and now those enemies know that Mason and I exist.
We’re in danger, and the only man that can protect us is the same bastard that left me shattered.
With a terrorist plot threatening the country and the future of our family at stake, we have to learn to trust each other or else lose everything.
Bastard SEAL is heart-pounding violent, beyond steamy, and features some very dirty language. It’s only recommended for audiences 18+.
Bastard SEAL is a standalone, full-length novel. No cliffhanger. Guaranteed HEA.
**For a limited time, Bastard SEAL includes Based: A Stepbrother Romance totally free!**
B. B. Hamel gives us another hot, alpha male in Bastard SEAL!
Emory is off the charts alpha male who just happens to be a SEAL. During a rare week off courtesy of the government, he meets Tara at an Indian resort. The spend one hot night together and he disappears the next day leaving her satisfied and...pregnant?! Yep. Tara, the H, is left with hot memories and a baby. Fast forward 14 months and Tara and Emory are reunited under less than ideal circumstances.
As with all B. B. Hamel books, the sex is lava hot. This one has action and intrigue. Tara is sassy and can hold her own.
There is a lot of danger in this book and the baby is along for the entire duration. Call me crazy, but wouldn't you send your baby to stay with someone safe and uninvolved? That was a bit of a stretch for me, but hey, it's fiction, so I could make the leap.
If you are a fan of B. B. Hamel, you will like this book as much as the rest. If not, take a chance and read Bastard SEAL.
Wow! This book has lots of everything: secrets, surprising twists and turns, action, suspense, bad-boy Navy Seals and dangerous terrorists. Emory thinks Tara is a simple one night stand until he discovers that some bad men are after her and not for the reasons he thinks!

Love Seals. This read was very realistic the way it portrayed the Navy Seals. Love the hot sex too. For real you won't be able to put it down . Try it.
This book started out with the beginning of a great story. However, I found myself losing interest quickly due to the fact that I could not connect with the characters. I love when the male lead is slightly cocky and antagonistic but unfortunately I think the character of Emory crossed the line making him unlikable for me. There was no build up or tension that is needed for really good chemistry. The scenes between Emory and Tara were just too quick and easy.
I love this author so I was very disappointed in this book. It is so unbelievable. I couldn't relate to the characters,didn't feel the love they were supposed to have together. Just bad
I wish you could give half stars because I'd give it 2.5. It wasn't my cup of tea at all and I'm glad it was a free book at the time of my purchase. I just don't think I could put up with a character like Emory, he's just a straight up ass. And he needs new vocabulary, if I had to read "dripping wet" one more time I was seriously going to through my kindle across the room. And Tara, I felt didn't have enough substance for me to really like her. I didn't feel the connection between them until the epilogue and that was disappointing. I will admit I skimmed most of the book because I just couldn't deal with the sex dialog between Emory and Tara, it was pretty cringe worthy. The concept was good, the writing wasn't that bad and I feel bad for giving only 2 stars but again this book just wasn't for me. We all have personal tastes and it just wasn't mine.
Tara goes to India on a trip she won by writing an essay for a contest at school. She loses her virginity and has a one night stand with Emory. She ends up pregnant from this one night stand. She can't find any record of Emory so moves in with her parents and raises her son Mason. When Mason is about five months old, Emory receives a picture of Tara holding a baby. The picture infers that the baby is his. Emory goes to Dayton Indiana to find Tara. When he finds her he is very drawn to her and recognises that Mason looks just like him. He has been fighting natives in Pakistan and believes that Omar who has lost many family members due to him is using Tara to get him. He decides he must protect Tara and Mason at all costs. Twists, turns, and a very hot relationship ensue. A great read!!!
I received this ARC in exchange for A honest review. Off the back BB Hamel books are fantastic. I have not found a book I truly did not enjoy. This book did not disappoint. Emory and Tara bond grew from lust to love. It was beautiful to read the changing from lust to love. Emory is the bastard (literally ) seal. He says what is on his mind true be damn. An alpha sexy hot seal and Tara is a quiet sweet lady and the two explode. I enjoy reading about alpha male meeting the sweet innocent girl. Especially if they are blunt as Emory in this book. Great book for a great price. Must have.
This book was actually pretty good, Tara and her friend went to India for a vacation, Emory was on vacation before his next tour one thing leads to another and he falls in bed with Tara, moving forward Emory receives a picture on his doorstep of Tara and a baby, could it be his baby? Only one way to find out show up on her door step unannounced.
I liked the story. Initially I was annoyed with all of the f**k bombs that were in the story, until I thought about the language that family and friends in the military use, and then it was just like listening to them talk among themselves. It’s all in how you look at it. I would recommend this book.
This was a little disappointing coming from this author, mostly because of the characters. Emory was a Navy Seal but acted like an arrogant thug, no gentleman qualities at all like Military men usually have. And Tara went to his bed willingly, became pregnant and felt used after that. Just was disappointed in this book.
This book had me sweating in all the right places! I found this story to be more than sexy, it had action, and dirty romance. Got to love a SEAL with a dirty mouth and a sweet innocent heroine that can put that dirty mouth in his place. Entertaining read!
Oh boy this is one really hot story, that alone could carry a story. But, this story had so much action and a lot of the action was of the Seal type so I was on the edge of my seat through out. Don't miss this it will get your blood pumping in more ways than one.
I liked the suspense through out the book and the chemistry between Emory and Tara. I thought the book was a great book especially with just right amount of intrigue to keep you on the edge of the seat. The chemistry is over the top.
The first half of the book almost made me stop with too much indecision but the third quarter made all my struggle worth it....wonderful, exciting ending.
This was a really good book and well written.It kept your attention as you never knew what was going to happen next.A lot of action and suspense & a surprise twist in it.
A VIRGIN, A NAVY SEAL ADD UP TO SEX, MURDER, AND MAY HAM……OH MY!!!!!
BB Hamel is an excellent Bad Boy Author. Back last year I was asked if I wanted to read on of her books and do an honest review. Me being who I am and loving to read said Yes. And I am still reading her books and still loving her writing. “Bastard Seal” is just another example of her exemplary writing skills. She takes to characters and makes them come alive. You can actually fantasize about being there in the book. You get caught up in the drama and the life that these two are trying to live. Plus, you get to fantasize about the awesome sex that the two characters have. The Greek god, with a body made for sin, and mouth that makes you want to be in the female’s place. “Bastard’s Seal” grabs your attention from the very first of the book and throughout the rest of book you are laughing, crying, breathing hard (wishing Emory is talking to you), and just wanting to jump in the book kick butt with Emory and his Seal buddies. You have to read this book. I recommend this book to mature readers 18 years of age or older because of the explicit violence and AWESOME sex throughout the book.
Tara Bright is on summer break spending time in India where she won a trip for two completely paid. So she and her friend Lindy go to India to rest and get ready for their Senior year in college. Lindy has talked Tara into go to the bar in the hotel to dance and possibly get drunk. Tara is watching the crowd and drinking when she catches Emory watching her. He just stood out from the crowd. He was tall, and broad, with sexy 5:00 shadow, and the most gorgeous piercing blue eyes. Even with his cocky way of talking to her, Tara knew she should leave but she just couldn’t. After a perfect night of dancing, then finishing the night with the most mind blowing sex, she wakes up the next day, and he gone leaving a note. The note told her she was incredible and then maybe he’d see her again someday. Almost a year and a half later she is trying to go back to college and raise her infant son Mason on her own. Even after all her effort she never could find Emory, Mason’s father. Then one day she is at home and a knock on the door and there he stood. Just out of the clear blue. The last person she expected to see, Emory Rush, Mason’s dad. Telling me that my son and I are in danger.
Emory Rush is a Navy Seal through and through. He is in India and it is last night before he leaves for another job. He sees Tara in the bar and he knows she is the one he wants to be with on his last night. He takes her not knowing that she is a virgin. Months later he is at home on leave he receives a package and in it is a picture of Tara and baby. With a note on back from a group of tourists that he and his team of Seals are after. They are letting him know that they know who she and the baby are and that they are watching them. Emory has to protect Tara and this baby, because he could be his son. Emory found himself once again remembering Tara and the night they spent together. How she felt when he was showing her how he could make her obey and beg for more. He goes to Tara and tells her about the terrorist that he is chasing and they know who she is and he has to protect her and Mason, and her family because these people are dangerous and they are threatening not only them, but their family. Can they learn to trust each other in order to save the country and their family? Can Tara and Emory find love or will the terrorists take it all away from them?
No Spoilers! There is so much more sex, murder and may-ham in this book. Grab your copy and read it. ARC free book given to me for an honest review.
I received this for a honest review. B.B Hamel did a wonderful job.
Tara Bright was on vacation. It was going to be her first time with a man. They used protection. She never dreamed that one time would leave her a single mother. She had no idea how to reach the man she had a one night stand with. Tara was a strong character. She was lucky, she had a good support team. Her mother and father were wonderful and even her best friend was there for her.
Emory was a navy seal. His team specialized in anti-terrorism. Due to the dangerous work he did he never wanted to be tied down. He never sleep with the same girl more than once and always used protection. So imagine to his surprise when he finds out the girl Tara that he can’t get out of his mind has a child and he is the father. Not only did he have that to deal with but a terrorist group was after Tara and his baby. I loved how quick Emory reacted to protect what was his. It was like somewhere in his brain he already looked at them as family.
Tara and Emory will find themselves on the run. They will become very close. Emory’s eye will start to open about how much he wants and needs Tara and his son. Emory and Tara have a few close calls. Emory cannot shake this feeling there is more to the terrorist group being after Tara then meets the eye.
This is a very touching story. I loved seeing Emory not thing twice on stepping up and being a father. He might not of known one thing about fatherhood but he was willing to learn. Emory will learn that Tara and his son mean more to him then his next breathe. He will do whatever it takes to keep his new family safe.

This book starts off with our heroine and her friend going to a resort for ten days after winning a contest at college. They couldn't afford to go any other way to a hotel and place like this.
They checked in and went upstairs. They were tired so they figured they'd lay down for a bit before going out later that night. As her friend was out dancing, our heroine looks over and notices a guy and she's attracted to him. He approaches and they talk, dance and drink for the night. As the night gets on, they finally disappear to his room where they have sex.
Over a year goes by and she's tried to find the mystery guy, but it doesn't go anywhere. She's had a baby and is currently juggling the baby and full time school. Even with her parents helping her, she was struggling with being tired, with money and with the will to keep going with her schooling. She had tried to find her mystery guy, but had finally given up hope of finding him.
Our hero is a NAVY SEAL and this means lying to people especially the girls he takes home with him. Over the last 16 months, he hasn't had time off due to finding leads for terrorists. Its taking them years, but they finally brought the ring down which is why he now was a month off given to him by the brass. The girls only get one night with him - no more. This includes the morning after. However, one girl had stayed with him since the one nighter he had with her.
Now our hero was back in the states. When he sends the night before's girl away he finds an envelope on his door step with his real name and rank on it. Not the one occupation of what he told his neighbors. Inside the envelope were pictures and one was of the girl he was just thinking about. The language on the back of the picture was in Pakistani and asked him if he knew the baby. However, he had to protect the girl and the baby.
He tracked down the girl and she screamed and ranted at him. However, he told her to calm down and told her about the threat on her and her child. They decided to go away for him to get to know the child but also to protect her parents. This was short lived as they found out about her parents and threatened them. They ended back up at her parents house to protect them all.
Will they find the people behind this latest threat? Will they take them down or will our hero lose the heroine and his baby?
This was a pretty good story. It did keep you guessing. However, it seemed like the author was trying to make the hero look stronger by using swearing. Don't get me wrong, I know we all swear, but almost every time the guy spoke swearing was involved. It was overkill. This is why this only got 4 stars.
A virgin’s one-night stand turned mayhem with a SMOKIN’ Navy SEAL.
~~~I received an ARC of Bastard SEAL: A Bad Boy Forbidden Baby Romance by B. B. Hamel for an honest review!~~~
This is the twelfth book of B.B. Hamel's that I have received as an ARC and reviewed, and she never disappoints!!! Though she is know for her step-brother books, this time she switched it up and wrote hot and bothered Navy SEAL story. She still has the head-strong, obstinate heroine, and yet now she has the rough, arrogant, bossy and sexy Navy SEAL!
Tara Bright is on summer break spending time in India where she won a trip for two completely paid. So she and her friend Lindy go to India to rest and get ready for their Senior year in college. The note told her she was incredible and then maybe he’d see her again someday. Almost a year and a half later she is trying to go back to college and be a single mom, she tried to tract down the father but to no avail. Then one day with a knock on her door, the smokin’ Navy SEAL is standing in front of her with some bad news.
The sex scenes were well done, thoroughly explained so you felt you were there watching them go. If mature scenes are not your thing, then don't read any of Ms Hamel’s books!!! I will recommend this book to anyone who loves a good sexually charged romance with an added twist of danger, and I look forward to the next book that B.B. Hamel writes!!!
Hamels latest release is an erotically steamy story with undertones of intrigue. Not merely a romance it has a hefty dose of espionage thrown in for good measure. Meet Hamels Emory a dirty talking uber confident SEAL Captain with a ripped and inked body to match who can light up any girls veins on fire & Tara a strong willed, independent albeit naïve American gal. Their sexual chemistry is scorching & I’m surprised the toasty hot sex scenes that follow have not reduced my kindle to one charred mess. In a consensual one - night stand with all precautions taken & all caution thrown to the wind, said cocky ripped alpha SEAL captain seduces Tara. Not for the first time, Hamel has excelled in depicting everyday peeps living their everyday life, crafting their story into a fascinating & sensual romance. Her portrayal of all the characters was factual with a well thought out plotline making the story realistic, which draws the reader to the characters. The sexual chemistry between the two protagonists sizzles resulting in red-hot love scenes that totally rock & will have every reader’s motor revving while panting for more. Delivered in true Hamel style one did not find this lewd or offensive. The discipline factor is surprisingly mild. For some reason Hamel does not take this further. Told in POV of both protagonists this is a coming of age story of Tara’s sexual awakening as she is charmed by one toastie hot but arrogantly cocky alpha SEAL. Emory sensing Tara’s attraction to him totally takes over knowing what she wants and delivering. Hamel displays her sensitivity to the emotions of both protagonists & does an excellent job balancing their emotions as she blends the steamy hot scenes & the espionage weaving this novel into a seamless plot. She draws the reader to experience all the suspense and drama of the situation and the sexual tension that exists between the protagonists. Should single mom Tara feel betrayed by her predicament? After all the one-night stand was consensual. Yet she would not be in her present situation were it not for Emory’s involvement with her. Both protagonists are aware of this fact. Moreover, how does Emory feel about being a dad? Hamel enthrals her readers with this chapter of Tara & Emory’s life journey. Yet another compelling read by Hamel that was impossible to put down. Guess Hamel has pulled it off yet again!
Bastard SEAL is about Tara Bright and Emory Rush. Tara and Emory meet at a resort in India. She's on a vacation she won with her best friend, Lindy, and it's their first night there. They go to the nightclub in the hotel to do some drinking and dancing. Emory is a Navy SEAL being deployed to Pakistan the next morning, so he's getting all the partying out before he has to leave.
Emory sees Tara in the nightclub and asks her to dance and seduces her into going back to his room. Tara is completely taken by Emory and goes for it, though she's a virgin and doesn't tell him. They have a long night of incredible sex and Tara wakes up alone in his room with a goodbye note from Emory.
We next find Tara about 15 months later and find out that even though they used protection, Tara ended up pregnant and had a beautiful boy she named Mason. Tara tried to find Emory, but she didn't even have his last name. Emory is back home after his deployment and after sending his latest girl for the night home in a cab, he finds an envelope at his door. Inside is a picture of Tara holding an infant and words written on the back that said "we know who you are and who this baby is. Do you?".
Emory never forgot Tara and their one night together and he realizes the baby might be his. He realizes that the picture and the words are a threat from The Network, a terrorist organization Emory's SEAL team has been hunting and fighting. He realizes he must find Tara and warn her that she is in danger.
The book goes through Emory finding Tara and explaining the situation, Tara introducing Emory to his son, Mason, and their relationship. This was my first book from B.B. Hamel and I was very invested in finding out what would happen with the terrorist threat and more importantly what would happen with Tara and Emory.
This was a book full of steamy hot love scenes, dirty talk from this arrogant (can't use the c-word for fear they won't post my review) yet sweet Navy SEAL, a terrorist plot intrigue, and a man coming to terms with the fact that he's a father. This was a great read and I look forward to reading more from B.B. Hamel!
Fast paced, action packed, suspenseful romance with a crude talking SEAL and his baby mama!
As expected from B B Hamel, Bastard SEAL: A Bad Boy Forbidden Baby Romance follows tradition to her style of writing of being a simple, well written, easy to read kind of book. If you are new to this author, the writing style of the hero tends to be crude so if you don’t like filthy talking romances you won’t enjoy this. If, however, you are, you will enjoy B B Hamel’s books, including this one.
Bastard SEAL is the story of Tara and Emory with Tara ending up pregnant after their one night stand while she is on holiday. Forced to come together after threats are made, it is quickly clear that the passion that was there during that one night many months ago is still there. While Emory is portrayed as a strong, determined, Alpha SEAL, Tara at times pushes Emory and doesn’t just sit back and take instruction, showing an inner strength to her character. Also, as the book progresses and Emory and Tara grow closer, I liked how B B Hamel portrayed Emory’s changing emotions and perspectives when dealing with their son, Mason.
This fast paced, suspenseful romance had a good plot with a twist in the plot that you don’t see coming, or at least fully. Bastard SEAL is told from dual points of views, giving a wider perspective of both characters and the overall story. The book is very graphic both in terms of sexual content and the violence. Some readers may also be sensitive to the talk of terrorists and terrorist activity The epilogue gives a well rounded finish to the story and a brief glimpse into Tara and Emory’s HEA. Overall, if you are looking for a standalone, suspenseful romance with plenty of action and a HEA for a crude talking SEAL and his baby mama, you will enjoy this book!
*I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own.
This book was full of action, fast paced and had my heart racing during some of the chapters. Very hocking and addictive. Not to mention one arrogant bad boy seal, Terrorist and one angry mother. Loved the story and loved the action. Characters was very written and created.
Tara is a single mother. Her situation happened from wining a contest and getting 2 free tickets abroad. At the time Tara was focusing on her uni until one night when popping her V-card the condom had split and resulted in Tara having a baby boy named mason. Determined to give her child the best life she went back to school to finish her degree as well as raise a baby. Being strong, calm, caring and loving Tara was doing well until Emory came back into their life after becoming a ghost. And not with any good news.
Emory is a bad boy seal who loves nothing more then fighting and fucking. Never getting to close as it to dangerous Emory was more then happy with how his life was. Being the captain, a leader and a navy seal Emory didnt need any one nor any distractions. Arrgoant asshole who always got want he wanted. But underneath all that Emory doesn't run from any think especially responsibilities. Strong, fast and deadly. Emory isn't a guy to piss off espically when the network drop of their next target.
Suspence, thrills and twists. B B hamel has done it again with another amazing story. The writing really brings the characters to life and gives you an insight into the story created. Recieved this as an ARC in exchange for an honest Review.
