Alex Parker and Jim Cole are back for another assignment, this time dealing with a highly sought after Russian crime syndicate. As her time at the CIA as one of their top "Ghosts" winds down, a series of events unfolds that makes her question whether she should leave, or remain in the only role she's ever known. Further complicating matters is her relationship with Ryan Turner, who has also joined the company, and his family.
As the trio follow the trail of the Russian crime boss, Darius Yevenko, Parker must come to grips with the fact that she is not the same ruthless assassin she once was. Once they finally get onto Yevenko's trail, Parker sees that the end is near. The final battle is one that has deadly consequences, and one in which everyone may not survive.

Third book in the ghost series. Each builds on the last and keeps you drawn in on every word. The humor is great along with seeing the characters growing with every page. Action packed and fast paced. Read them in order and enjoy then pre order book 4. Now we have to wait.
Started interesting but swiftly transitioned to a somewhat goofy version of Turner and Hooch or other cavalier manner with death and logic at opposite ends of the story. If these are ghosts, no wonder we're in trouble.
Alex Parker, beautiful and a master assassin and her partner Cole, do battle against America's enemies. And while all three books in this series are full of action, the real fun of them is how Parker meets and falls in love with Ryan Turner and the comedic interplay with Cole, who's apparently not as much of a tough guy as his rep says.
These are good reads with down time between action; Alex dealing with her feelings for Ryan, who becomes a part of Alex's team and Cole's concern that Alex is getting soft and in their line of work, soft gets you killed. One of my favorite parts was when Cole volunteered to shoot Ryan.
Parker, Cole, and Ryan complete the entire mission, the rouge agent's are disposed of and Parker seems to be at the end of her career with the CIA, Cole is trying to make his own decision on the future, and Parker's boyfriend, Ryan may become her lifetime partner in the private sector. Their futures are left to your imagination which leaves the author the option to pick up a new series in the future. If you're looking for a new series, check out the "CAIN" series.
