The story really picks up in this book. More characters are introduced and questions answered. My heart broke for Willow and Cedar. I hope they get their HEA in the next book.

That one won my heart more than book 1.
More struggle, more love, more fight, more mates to discover.
What will happen when Lena and Calden won't be able to talk almost at all about their feelings? And beauty from Earth will come to Magneo - it will give you sparks from their clashes!

The great second installment from May Sage!

There is even more to love in this one than the first!

This story is a great example about how a lack in communication can really mess up relationships, whether they be between friends or significant others.

It was such a cute fun romance and an exceedingly fast read. I want to call it trash because that's the word that comes to mind- but it's a good kind of trash like guilty pleasure kind of trash. The women are hot badasses and the men are even hotter aliens that are clueless as rocks when it comes to relationship stuff- plus throw in the whole mates thing and it just makes you want to go awwwe... The sex scences hit the right note with me too. I thought they were just frequent enough and just hot enough without being porn. That's talent because When is it a hot sex scene and when is it porn- it's a thin and dotted line between the two...

Finding love

Lena wins the right to be called Aleck's mother although she gave birth to him, she is not known as his mother. Jaclyn's attachment to Lena seems to be getting stronger. Little does he know his mate is on the way. Her transport ship is hijacked and Xian saves her and sends her to get help. Once on the Empires home planet all heck breaks lose. Will Lena accept her or will she get rid of her as her seems to like this women more. You get to find out what happened to the breeders that were on their way to their men and meet Cedar and Willow. Very good book, can't wait to read the final installment. This book has a great ending, no c!off hanger here.

Having read the first book I was eager to continue and was not disappointed. There were things happening that took me by surprise, which is something I love and also things that I wondered would happen. I loved the continuing character development and the way it happens in the natural course of events.

One of the things I most like about this series is the way the emotions of the characters are handled in an entirely realistic way. Stuff goes wrong and people make assumptions and become miserable because they are operating from an opinion and not actual facts, just like real life. This is a gripping read. Loved it.

I finished book 1 this morning and now book 2. Novella length, they include solid characters and interesting scenarios as well as a fascinating world to consider. Book 2 felt a bit more rushed; there seemed less development with multiple relationships in the story line as compared to the single relationship from book 1. A longer story with more relationship development would have been good, because the characters certainly have the opportunity for great depth and drama built into them, but it was still a good read overall and I will look forward to the next one.

This was a fun, fast-paced story. It's the second in a trilogy. Lena has competed in the Trials for her right to become Calden's Empress, but now there are political conflicts taking place. Some groups are against human females being chosen as breeders, Lena and Calden's son is kidnapped, and a transport ship of human females is hijacked. Lena and Calden continue to develop their relationship, and another relationship is featured as well. Now that I have finished Rage I am eager to read the third story in the trilogy!! I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
