Ponytail: The Love for Revenge was a simple quick read. Whilst it was interesting, it didn’t quite pack the punch I’d been expecting.

The story is short, moving from one event to the next with quite some speed. I really enjoyed the way things moved so quickly – such is what you expect from the genre – however, I feel as though things moved too quickly. What I mean is that certain events weren’t quite given the attention they could have been. I feel as though more time needed to be focused upon how things played out, allowing us to form a real connection with the people and the events. If more attention was given to such things, then reactions would have been more emotional and events would have held a better shock value.

In part, I feel as though attention was put upon the wrong things. We knew so many details about our protagonist’s business life that when we came to the thriller aspects of the story, we weren’t quite given the same level of attention – thus, I felt as though I was more attached to the wrong parts of the story. Yes, the business life was related to the thriller aspects; however, the whole ‘revenge’ aspect of the story seemed to be glossed over far too quickly. I wanted to be dragged deeper into that aspect of the story, I wanted it to be given more attention.

Don’t get me wrong, it was fun. It just didn’t have the impact it could have. There really was such potential with this one, but it missed out in a few ways. We have questions throughout pertaining to many aspects of the story, and these details are all held out until the end. We have characters we cannot trust, and we’re second guessing many acts. We have unexpected reveals, making for interesting twists. As a whole, there were many thriller aspects to be seen, but none were quite as powerful as they could have been. These mysterious aspects and the twists were all enjoyable, but they fell somewhat flat. Truthfully, I feel as though this is due to how short the story was. Had it been longer, things could have been given the attention they deserved.

All in all, I had a bit of an up and down with this one. Certain parts of the story really pulled me in, whereas other parts of the story didn’t hold my attention to the degree I had hoped they would. I feel as though the author could deliver a wonderful thriller, but this wasn’t quite up to the standard that I like for my thrillers.

Overall, it’s a fun quick read if you’re looking for something that doesn’t quite have the depth of the usual thrillers. A very light thriller, if you will.

Ponytail – the love for revenge is a story of a man who fights for his life. A fight for his rightful life, to make the wrong right.

The protagonist Prabuddh is a young and ambitious boy of 26 years of age and fresh out of college he founded his own company. He waited for this day for many years but commencing his own company and making name was not his goal, he is eyeing for something bigger. He fell in love with one of his employee ‘Tapasya’. But falling in love is a trap.

Prabuddh has only one motive for life and that is to take revenge that ruined his life and took everyone from him whom he loves and his life. He lives for the day when he will see the demons of his life destroyed. He adorns a ponytail to recall himself his motive for life.

The story moves from one chapter to another at a fast pace and gives little space for reader’s anticipation. A tale of revenge intertwined with love. A quick and simple read and a definite page turner. A good read for suspense and thriller readers.

The author of the book has written previously in Gujarati before started writing in English under the pen name ‘Prajwalit’. His other works in English includes ‘Love stories’ – a collection of short love stories and ‘On the Earth: In the light of the Sun’.

Review:

Thanks to the author and Enigmatic team for providing a review copy. And congratulations to the author for coming up with his third novel. Starting with the cover of the book, it doesn't seem interesting or matches up with the title or the story but the title is appropriate and makes the reader to curious to know the answer of using this title. Starting of the novel was not very good and I find it little boring as all the characters were described in short and the story was very common. Author describing even the name of the car irritated in the middle but the words were clear and easy to understand. No grammatical errors are there in the story and kudos to author and the editor for that. Author shouldn't have used much of technical words/sentences, as being a layman, it's hard to understand words like 'Equity or selling up of shares'. But the ending took all the credits, it was unexpected, it was beautifully written and what more you expect from a novel. It was brilliant in the end when he revealed his reasons behind the revenge and it's rightly said; Revenge only destroys the world and spreads negativity in the world. Whatever happened to us was the decision of God, and we do not have any right to punish the humans behind that.
I would like to recommend this book to the people who likes suspense in the end.

I like-

1) The suspense.
2) Appropriate title for the book.

I dislike-

1) Technical words.
2) Murder of Tapassya

And finally I ended my Reading Marathon of this first half of the year with the novel "Ponytail: The Love For Revenge" by Pradip Chauhan. The cover page of the book is quite appealing. This 172-pages novel got completed by me within a single sitting of 2.5 hours and it's a light read that can be definitely read while traveling. Pradip Chauhan has written this book in a very simple and easy language. The sentences formation has been short. The chapters are also divided in very small parts which helps you remember what happened in previous chapter even if you take breaks while reading. I liked how author have kept the story short without dragging it with unrelated events.

Talking about the good points: I liked how author revealed the secret behind protagonist's ponytail in the pre-climax which was being discussed so much that I was thinking why is whole focus being shifted towards a character's hairstyle every now and then. I liked some business insights given by the author through the conversation that the main protagonist has with his colleagues, competitors etc. mainly in the first half. How protagonist's life is connected with that one painting is something I really appreciated in the book in terms of story.

I feel that this book could have been far better if author would have inserted many more thrilling moments in the second half as the plot totally permitted the author to play with the characters and story. Every time, author has tried to take story to next level, he fails badly in the very next chapter as he brings everything to a normal story-telling level. Also, even after showing his first love so aggressive and emotional, it wasn't convincing that the character keeps falling in love eventually with two other girls after her. The suspense regarding Tapasya's death is nicely disclosed in the end but the word "revenge" which is so passionately used in describing this story isn't portrayed impressively. And too many deaths in the end is also a let down. Overall, I would say that author can improve with his next flick by reading bestselling thrillers as he surely has talent to tell a great story. I give this one 2.25* out of 5.

Thanks.

Ponytail is a story which revolves around an emerging newbie business tycoon of India and his controversial life. A man who have suffered all major losses since his childhood but then love knocks at his door and he started living those glee love life though which lasts for a short duration and he was knocked by his own fate .

Author has penned down life of a business man and his journey of toiling hard to get the success . “ Hard work is key to success “ but then all his happiness disappeared as his only love of his life left him , which turned him insane .

Narration- The presentation of the book was good . The story went with a flow and was easily understood . A journey of success to depression and revenge .

Language – The language was simple . Readable . I truly enjoyed the part ‘ conversations ‘ . The metaphors used in the book caught my attention.

Character I enjoyed the most-
Prabudh - The protagonist, blessed with looks and brain, who hails from a middle class but his passion turned him into front cover of top businesses magazines , a young business tycoon . A man was dedicated to his work as well to his personnel life . Man who loved his wife beyond the limits but the loss he occurred , turned his stone hearted and the tale start for avenge .

Portions which I enjoyed the most-
I enjoyed the portions were the protagonist talked and discussed about his future plans , the other I enjoyed where he gave equal opportunity to his employees to shine and take the organization to a higher level . The other portion I enjoyed when he dig into the closed files of his beloved wife to take the revenge .

Negative Punch –
1. The cover wasn’t appealing at all , it didn’t match with the story and the title .
2. The language could have been written in a more modish way .
3. There were couples of chapter where I found that the protagonist was only involved in talking about his business plans and meetings .
4. The murder mystery part could been written with more research .

Overall Rating – I would rate this love for revenge story 3/5 . One time read .

The Ponytail Protagonist!

Basically, the book deals with the aggressive and negative emotion of revenge. The style of writing is simple, easy to understand and just like the plot of the story, the narration tends to make one feel how forced the emotion of love and caring is in the novel.

The novel has been divided into three sections describing the life of the protagonist, Prabuddh. He is ambitious, successful in his profession and smart too. So, what is it more that he aspires for in his life?

Why is his life so incomplete? Why is he not capable of loving his girlfriends completely? Are there some skeletons in his cupboards too harsh and traumatic to reveal?

The author has taken the support of a painful past to race the book to its denouement. What is dominant in the book is the use and manipulation of women characters to enable the author to bring out the plot of revenge.

Revenge is the key emotion in the book. Revenge is what drives the protagonist on in his life. But, for how long? So, is he the hero or the villain?

Does revenge make Prabuddh happy? Any guesses?
Read the book to find out.

I was given a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
I like the writing style of the author. The book is well written .

Prabuddh is a businessmen first met with Tapasya when he interviewed her for marketing head.
Both of them were of approx same age.
He was impressed her attitude towards work ,her sincerity and her past experience . She worked hard and done well to prove herself.

Soon he falls in love with her and to achieve his goal he came close.
But soon some misunderstanding arose and Tapasya left him when she found lipstick stains of his shirt. But Prabuddh didnt know where he stains came from and his explanation didnt worked at all.

The book was short and light right. The book could have been more better. I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.

I won the book in giveaway so first of all thank you prawjatit sir for the book to read !! I completed the story , it took me sometime though !! i was on and off the story for sometime . i was first confused about the aim of the protagonist . But as the story unfolded i understood the writer's intentions further. I liked the business insights and the interesting thought processes in the story. i don't want to flush out any facts or small plots from the story that will make any book uninteresting to new readers but the story i think unfolded twists at good turns and i liked it!! The characters were well developed and where very interesting to relate too. It was a good read for me !!

Best of luck to the write for new books !!

At the end, the story was nice and the book was an easy read. The writing was smooth and clear. The story was a little away from leaving an everlasting impact but still the author tried his best to present things well.

Story in nutshell:

'Ponytail-The Love for Revenge' is divided into three sections. The story starts off as a common man's story and then, takes a drastic turn. It is a story of love that blooms in office- in short office romance. Love can happen to anyone and at any place, under any circumstances. A similar thing happens between Tapasya and Prabuddh, her boss. They confess their love for each other and very soon, get married. Meanwhile, Prabuddh's business, Ponytail gets extraordinary successful and ties up with a huge business firm. This tie-up brings Kaumudi in thier lives. Things dont remain the same with Kaumudi's arrival. What are the changes that are brought to their lives? Why is the story titled "Ponytail-The Love for Revenge"?

Review:

'Ponytail-The Love for Revenge' is about office romance. As soon as you read, the first few pages you can very well predict the story. With some thoughts in mind, I proceeded with my reading. Yes, was disappointed. However, I feel that the story grabbed my attention towards the end. (A major shock! You can also term it to be a shocking surprise.) The end of this story changed my outlook towards the book.
The cover and the title do not go well with the story. The narration has been simple and comprehensible. The flow of events have been done appropriately.

The story talks about Prabuddh's love for Tapasya and also for Kaumudi. Prabuddh also feels attracted towards Amita. You will find mentions of Prabuddh's ponytail and his company, Ponytail almost on every 5th page.(It bored the reader in me.)

Suggestions:
The narration could have been done in a better way.
The cover of the book doesnot have any relation neither with the title nor with the story. Changing it would be a better option.

Overall 'Ponytail-The Love for Revenge' is a one time read!

I rate:

Cover: 1/5
Characters: 2.5/5
Story: 2.5/5

On the whole, I rate Ponytail - The Love for Revenge with 2.5/5 stars.

" **********This book was an author giveaway for a honest review *****

A big thanks to Pradip for sending across this book.

Pradip is a talented writer which could be seen in patches in this book . Although the story is stereotypical plot of your bollywood masala of girl loves a boy and boy accepts her love but also has feelings for another girl and all the drama surrounding it.
To top it all there is a part of the book related to rags to riches story of the protagonist and how he made it there.

****Spoiler Alert****
But like in the interval of a movie, there is a twist. Tapasya gets killed and we find out (backstory) how and why she was killed and how Prabuddh has a darker side to him. Kaumudi character is a strong personality. She endures Prabuddh with Tapasaya and waits for her opportunity , you all will think she is the main culprit. Read the whole story to find out. Amita as a mellow down to earth falls for Prabuddh and he also expresses his love even though he is about to be bethrothed to Kaumudi. A largesse balance of Kaumudi business empire and not so princely state of Amita bring the contrasts of their love life.

It took me couple of hours to finish the book. There is a huge potential for Pradip to make it big, but he gets sloppy in the end of this book, has the characters killed whimsically and falters to a finish. Could have been a better revenge plot but fails to do so. Hoping he take this in a positive light and writes more better novels in the future. A good story teller with potholes in the plot. Try to polish those rough edges and make it one amazing read for future!

Firstly, big thanks to Pradip for sharing the copy of this book and apology because this review was long overdue but due to some unavoidable circumstances I was not able to do so.

Coming back to the book, I enjoyed reading it and felt refreshed because I read this one as a short story in Pradip's previous book "Love story" in which this story was finished at very interesting turn of events. So finally it felt great that through this book I was able to complete it.

The plot as a whole is very intriguing especially the way the plot unfolds towards the end, also proving that no one is forgiven by GOD for whatever bad deed he/she does in his/her life. Whether be it the case of Prabudh or other people (will not reveal more details). I think people should definitely try this one because it will surely make them feel refreshed from reading regular love stories.

Great work Pradip, keep it up!

wow....maza avi gai.....
ha...ha....ha..... first i laughed at the main character after reading initial pages...that the main character 'Prabuddh' grows his hair and let it to be tied it in ponytail by his employee.......
but as the story continued ahead, i was merged in it. this one is not a pervert or paranormal story but story of a workaholic businessman, who love work and work and a girl comes to his life.....
and then second girl, third girl one by one....

good plot, easy language, flowing gripping ....and just it what a reader wants more from the book?

The romantic thriller written by author is quite an intriguing attempt. The language is easy, also its a quick read. While the title has significance with the story I still didn’t liked it as well as the cover isn’t impressive either. Readers interested in this genre should surely pick it up!

I received a free copy for an honest review

I LOVE THAT ENDING OH MY GOD! Okay, I am getting way ahead of myself. You would understand what I mean later.

I'm going to be honest here. The story is amazing. You've got a strong, determined leader who is a successful businessman driven by an unchanging life goal, and a book featured in the economic business world, so I got a good reading experience and insight on how businesses work. And isn't that one of the best things about reading? You learn about different professions through different books just like you've experienced them.

The relationships also seemed promising, and the idea of 'revenge mixed with love' implied a hate-love relationship.
It also started off really strong to me. I was impressed by the main character's drive to success, and his leadership strategy and qualities really appealed. I love how he is an intimidating respectful leader but at the same time is justifiable and doesn't overuse his workers. The author was also successful in the first chapter of the book to show Tapasya as a professional, strong female businesswoman.

Everything about this book seemed extremely promising, so why did I only give it 3 stars?

It's really a shame because properly written the story, in general, has the potential to make a good book with depths and character developments, while teaching the reader the lessons of revenge and love, and how they're both not so different from each other.

But first off, the author needs to fire his editor for this book. There are only one or two simple punctuation mistakes, but (this might be a little bit hurtful, but it's the truth) the dialogues are terrible. It's not the worst because at least it's still understandably and readable, so I can still enjoy the story. But it's all so stiff and scripted; it's like reading a bad movie script. "OK, I have no objection to following your kitchen rules only because I want to check out your cooking skills. But I don't have any skill or experience to tile my hair." Maybe by adding some of these dialogues into first person thoughts, the dialogues maybe can be more likable and realistic. "I gave her a look of annoyance as I tried to contain myself. "Fine," I grunted. 'But I don't know how,' '". This might not be perfect, but hopefully, gives you an idea of what I'm trying to say.

In fact, this made me remember an old technique from my lower school writing class, called 'show not tell'. There are so many places in the book where the authors could describe the scenery or situation using the protagonist Prabuddh's first person perspective, but by adding it to the dialogue it just ruins it.

And next is the development and growth of the protagonist and the relationships between the characters. I stick to my previous statements that there has been growth in the characters, and the romantic relationships also seemed promising. But unfortunately, thanks to the unrealistic dialogues, it's been really hard for me to connect with the characters, resulting in me hard to even like them. This is why I feel all the love triangles and complication complete boring and fake, and also why I could care less when Tapasya died. It's really a shame because in the first chapter all the characters are all written very well, and their unique characteristics are very distinct. But as the book progresses - as soon as to the second chapter when Prabuddh gave Tapasya a ride I felt like their character just went blah. Prabuddh is supposed to be an independent man who wouldn't let anything distract him from this goal. But the number how times he is attracted by a hot girl in this book is surprising for someone who is a strong and not easily swooned bachelor. At first, I just thought that it's because this book has romance so it's just a one-time thing with the main characters, but it seems like he's smothered by every female in the book, no less how every single one of them is 'breathtakingly beautiful'.

Another thing I'm a little bit bugged about how all the characters call the main character 'sir'. I know that they are known to have formalities before they warmed up to become friends, but for example when Prabuddh gave Tapasya gave her a ride, and how he felt and she herself said that 'I'm warming up to you ', I don't think all the 'sirs' are necessary anymore.

The pace of the book is also slightly, and I mean really just slightly too fast. But it's understandable since the book is split into two parts: the love and the revenge, so it's not that big of an issue.

Overall, the book has some really good ideas, just not written well. The characters developments and relationships were also ruined by the stiff, fake dialogues. However, I believe if the author revised his dialogues a little bit, this book can make a drastic improvement because the story is really good. Especially the ending twist is a nice one.

On a side note, there's another thing the author can consider, and that is to change the cover for this book. A little improvement wouldn't hurt. I just feel like it doesn't' really fit with the book.

Book- Ponytail: Love For Revenge

Author: Pradip Chauhan

Publishers: HRC publishers

ISBN-13- 9781532751592

Number of Pages- 168

“As the barber shaved my head I promised myself that I will make as much money as possible.”

Ponytail by Pradip Chauhan is a romantic thriller with suspense. It is the story of revenge of a young man who spent his life on making money to become powerful. Through this book the author has portrayed that how revenge is all consuming and creates a disaster in a human being’s cheerful life. Instead of giving satisfaction, revenge kills every victim with remorse and hatred.

Blurb:

Ponytail is a story that revolves around a young businessman Prabudh who makes a prominent place in the front page of every newspaper with his prolific work and success. He falls in love with Tapasya the day he interviews her. In his journey of taking the business ahead he signs a partnership with Kaumudi who is a powerful man, Mr. Mehta’s daughter. Prabudh, along with the accompaniment of Tapasya and Kaumudi sets up a clothing industry ‘Ponytail.’ The company reaches the peak of success within a few months only. Prabudh proposes the love of her life Tapasya. Unfortunately Tapasya commits a suicide due to a misunderstanding between her and Prabudh that brings a huge change in his life. After a year he suspects Kaumudi behind all this. He meets an airhostess Amita and gets attracted towards her. They both share a love story until Prabudh accepts that he loves Kaumudi and will marry her. What is Prabudh upto? Whom does he love? Is Kaumudi the one responsible for Tapasya’s death or is there someone else behind her death?

Review:

The book is first person narrative and the story has been narrated by the main character Prabudh. The book is basically divided into three sections. In the first section the narrator describes his successful love and business life. The second section reveals the revengeful story after Tapasya’s death. The third section reveals the answers to all the questions one by one and solves the entire mystery. Well, the story was good.

Despite of a good plot there were a few loopholes in the story like ‘Tapasya commits a suicide when she gets a fake picture in which Prabudh is with Mahek, shirtless and in a kissing position. Without letting him explain her the situation she leaves and next day dies. How can anyone just die by seeing a picture and without even getting to a conclusion or clearing the misunderstanding. The reason behind her death was not that acceptable.’ In the last section the narrator accepts that he loved Tapasya because he wanted to seek revenge. His love was artificial. Then how could he narrate the genuine emotions of separation when he never loved him earlier and why did he left his company ‘Ponytail’ and roamed like a ‘psycho’ (as mentioned in the book) for a year?

The language of the book was very simple and straightforward and the narrative style created suspense at every stage. Prabudh’s character seemed to be a confusing. The title of the book and the subtitle were apt to the story. The cover page was irrelevant to the story. The blurb included a paragraph from the story. I think that the blurb should have been written in a way that briefs the story of the book rather than just including a paragraph from the book itself. There were a few grammatical mistakes too but that is not the fault of the author at all so I neglected them. I would recommend this book to all those who love to read romantic novels with twists and suspense.

Cover : Attractive cover. Justifies the title and theme of the story.
Theme:
The ponytail is the story of a man, who has spent his life for making money and becoming powerful. Every human dreams about success and wealth. So this book also takes on a journey, but the most interesting fact is that things change when he falls in love.

Review:
As the title suggest that whole story belongs to someone’s revenge. For his love, but slightly it moves to business related to the world. from that point story began. Prabuddh the central protagonist who is a successful business man from Gujarat happily lived in his life. Tapasya the female protagonist worked under his office was a diligent average looking girl who had her own dreams and she was determined. She falls in love for him and to make him attract to her. She always tried to fall for her; but he has strong determination to make lots of money and gain so much fame in his life. His only aim that makes him powerful was the zeel to earn enormous amounts of money, that no one could ever try to beat him; financially. But after a man how long control his feelings or attraction towards a girl; he finally confesses to her and finally they getting into a relationship. The girl was extremely happy with him.
But the sudden death of her gets back into the fatal distraction of his business and his personal life. Here’s what the twist in the story happens. He suddenly abandons everything & started living a lonely life; above all of this he usually thinks how she had been killed? He once again regains himself and trying to solve the mystery. In this way a new character named Kamudhi who works as a partner with Prabuddh also approached her love towards him, they also fall in love as life gives another chance to him; but no one knows all those things are part of the his mysterious plan.
To know why, read rest on the book to unlock the anticipation.
Everything is perfect. But the narration aspect could have been better. Appreciations:
The author gave perfect justify all the characters and give best his effort to present the story and unfolds the mystery.
Too many elements added which confuses the readers.
The language is suitable for the readers to read. So that’s better.

Prabudh lost his parents at a very young age. With unrelenting determination and hard work, he studies, grabs the qualifications and starts his own business, which flourishes to ascend him as a successful businessman. His life changes when he meets Tapasya and Kaumudi. While Tapasya is to become a part of his life Kaumudi becomes a part of his business. Twist in the tale occurs when Tapasya suspects Prabudhand leaves him. The second half of the tale is full of twists and suspense.

Well, that much is about the summary of the story. Being a self published book, I'm not dwelling much into the technicalities of proofreading and typesetting except that a few chapters are repeated in the print copy. The narration is simple. The book is perfect for first time readers. Storyline cannot offer much uniqueness. A third person narration could have been a better choice because when someone says I'm good looking with good body, girls were behind me and things like that it sounds like bragging. The revenge story too was not convincing. I liked the way, the word ponytail becomes an important part of the story.

Overall the book is simple and an easy read for the beginners. A round of developmental edit would have taken it to another level. I appreciate the author's effort in doing everything alone

This is going to be a short review as unfortunately, I do not have much to say. As you can see from the blurb itself, grammatical errors are present, which is really what you will find throughout the book too – a huge bummer for me.

Ponytail: The Love for Revenge is a love story of how businessman Prabuddh discovers the true value of love, one which is more than all the riches life has to offer him. I found his character self-absorbed (extremely full of himself!), overly-confident yet highly liked among his upper class social circle. Told in the first narrative, it did not take long for me to get annoyed with how highly he views himself, his business and achievements.

The plot was largely predictable but with a huge twist at the end which was rather lazy and weird, if you ask me. I did not enjoy this read, but I do believe given improvements in writing (plot and grammar, specifically), it could possibly be more entertaining.

Rating: ★ ★

Nonetheless, I would like to thank the author, Dr. Pradip Chauhan, for this review copy in exchange for my honest review.

Great plotline

The story is one that will pull on the reader's emotions and it is filled with moments that will touch a person's heart. It's a mix of love, revenge and personal values, and how that can be intertwined with a person's professional side. Prabuddh is a driven character, and it's when his world is turned around on him, that really shows his strength and drive. There were a few things that needed work in this story, but it didn't detract too much from the story itself.

Prabudh is the leading man of the book, Ponytail - The Love for Revenge. Having lost his parents to the poverty, he pledged to become the wealthiest man and not to get married until he became the richest man in the world. As a reminder of his pledge, he decided not to cut his hair till the day all the conditions of his oath are met. After getting an MBA degree from IIM-Ahmedabad, he started his own textile company. His business has been growing bigger by the minute. Now, he is going to open a new branch in Surat. He offers the position of MD to Tapasya, who is the marketing head of his current company. She accepts the offer and in this moment, Prabudh realizes that he likes this girl a lot. They begin dating after a while, and soon, they decide to get married. It is plain to see that she is quite possessive for him, but he ignores this tendency of hers. He wishes to further expand his business by starting a female clothing line, and, for this task, he must impress one of the most influential businessmen, Mr. Mehta. On meeting him, however, Mr. Mehta makes it clear that this decision lies in the hands of his daughter, Kaumudi. It is very interesting to read how his love life affects his plan to become the most affluent man in the world.

Ponytail - The Love for Revenge is full of dramatic twists and turns. This book screams Bollywood to me. In fact, it reminded me of a popular Bollywood movie -- I would not reveal the name of the movie to avoid a spoiler. However, this is not a replica of that movie. I believe that movie might have inspired the author to come up with this plot. The story moves from one chapter to the next very smoothly, and I was able to follow the plot with no trouble.
