Kelly Apple is a hardcore paranormal junkie with the bad habit of falling for damaged heroes. Finding (and writing) characters who make her heart break is one of her goals in life. She has a boy who can drink his weight in Mountain Dew and always tries to get her to play video games with him. She politely declines on account of all the voices in her head who are impatiently waiting for their stories to be told. Oddly, her two dogs have never tried to talk her into playing video games. They just expect belly rubs.

Kelly lives in sunny Northern California and she’s baffled by snow. Her flip-flop tan is something many dream about but few can achieve.

She reads, she writes, she tweets.

Even though I found a couple of editing errors in this one, I am still marking it 4 stars.
It was that good.

This one goes to the top of my favorites of this series.... So far.

Vane the Gargoyle & Cin (Ari's human friend) are the mc's. They are great characters and their story was fun.

This one seems to be written much better than the others. The flow is perfect.
A quick and fun read.

I loved it.

Please remember you are best off getting the bundle of these.
I feel they are overpriced on Amazon when purchased independently.
They are all about 30 to 50 pages long.

This is the first story I have read in this short story series, and it will be my last. It's just not for me. I legit hate Ari, and I don't use that word lightly. She is TSTL, immature, skanky, and annoying as hell. I would have DNF but I skimmed some so I could see how things ended for Vane. I'm not interested in knowing what happens to anyone else.

There's not a lot of substance to this story. This goes from attraction to a physical connection in no time. Not much more than a short erotica book.
