Rightly Dividing the Word

Rate this book
This book compares in value with the book on “Dispensational Truth.” Its purpose is to “Rightly Divide” the “Fundamental Doctrines” in a series of “Contrasts,” as “Law and Grace,” “Faith and Works,” " Sin and Salvation," "Atonement and Redemption," etc. It has been described as one of the "most enlightening book on scripture ever written." The author had made it the work of his ministry to preach the “Fundamentals.” This volume contains the cream and meat of his sermons and Bible lectures. The book contains twenty-nine chapters and fifty-five charts. The charts are one page charts, clear and simple, and suitable for Bible Class work. 1. Rightly Dividing the Word; 2. Clarence Larkin is one of my favorite bibilical scholars. He pulls the bibilical doctrines out and puts them in this book for easy understanding. He doesn't give his opinions but lets the Holy Spirit guide him in revealing the Truths.

Not scholarly, but still a tightly written, tightly-reasoned case for classic dispensationalism. Surprisingly compelling even though it's wrong.

Clarence Larkin’s classic study of the fundamental doctrines of the faith. Every statement is supported by Scripture and, in many cases, the entire supporting text is quoted.
