Four Little Problems

For Patrick Stevens less means more!

Patrick Stevens is a great teacher. All of his "kids" say so--except Emily Patterson's oldest son, Jason. Jason is Patrick's lone failure--the one student he couldn't reach.

And that's too bad, because when Patrick and Emily are thrown together on a project, Patrick realizes he'd really like to get to know Emily better. If only she didn't come complete with those four sons....

Loved it! Now, we need a story about Rachel from Home for Christmas and one with Jason from Four Little Problems.

This was a pretty quick and sweet read.

Emily has had a rough time when it comes to relationships and the right guy. Now she is a single mom to 4 boys. Things aren't easy but she is a strong woman.

Patrick tries hard to be a good teacher, but something about Emily's eldest Jason, just stuck with him (and well after that initial incident with the mouse trap, that's 1 memory that won't go away!).

Both Emily and Patrick are dealing with a lot of past struggles (her for trying to do what's best for her boys and him with his guilt ridden conscious about past deeds). I like that both of them learn to work together and try to do what is best for the children as Emily steps into the unexpected roll of PTA president.

This book is not all fluffy and no substance. There is character growth, struggles and actual depth.

Talk about a well written and a great story. Its a story of a mom, Emily Patterson, meeting a very different guy. Patrick Stevens has been thru alot and because of one bad decision lives with alot. Its a story about coming to terms about something and falling in love. Its a story that has a great plot. It will make you curious to turn the page to see what is happening next. Its has neat twists in the story. If you have kids it will make sense to you. I look forward to finding more of her books. J

I liked it much more the second time around. This story is about a man falling for a woman with four children. He is willing to do what needs to be done to keep her, including trying to make peace with the "troublemaker" child. There is a lot of conflict between him and the boy but I really enjoyed the way that it was resolved. I think that the events that take place are really believable and understand the thinking behind his actions. I think that the romance was sweet and I would read it again. So 4 stars.
