Let your imagination run wild as you read this collection of three romantic lesbian novellas featuring werewolves. Best-selling author Bridget Essex offers a trio of heart-stopping tales of women transformed by love.
Wolf Pack includes these three previously published novellas:
Wolf Queen: When high school sweethearts Amber and Stevie are reunited, sparks fly. But Amber still hasn't forgiven Stevie for disappearing seven years ago. Once the shocking truth is finally revealed, will the women be able to give love a second chance?
Wolf Heart: Abby Reynolds needs some R&R, so she's camping alone at her family's cabin. But her quiet getaway takes a strange turn when she finds Shannon, a gorgeous stranger, lying naked in the park bathroom. Little by little, Abby comes to realize that there is more to Shannon than meets the eye...
A Wolf for Valentine's Day: Lonely veterinarian Trish Dalton has reluctantly signed on to attend a singles retreat in the Rocky Mountains. There, she finds herself attracted to yoga instructor Kennedy, a woman with a secret. Can Trish overcome her own reserved nature to risk a relationship with wild, free-spirited Kennedy?
My name is Bridget Essex, and I write about werewolves, vampires and lady knights; about two strong, courageous women who fall deeply in love with one another, living love stories that transcend time. I'm married to the love of my life, author Natalie Vivien.
I'm best known for my Knight Legends series, stories about women knights, real world hi-jinks and love stories that are out of this world. My Sullivan Vampire novellas are a popular series lauded as "TWILIGHT for women who love women," and I have several other series and stand-alone novellas, and I'm always putting out something new. Wolf Pack features three short novellas within it. Each couple definitely had sparks and chemistry that made this book a page turner. I wont dive into each character within these stories but they all have a common theme: true and real love. It was interesting to see some people reconnect with past loves or find a new love unexpectedly. They all brought a little smile to my face because it was awesome to see all these women find their one true love. Or I guess mates since each book also feature a wolf.
Overall, they were very cute and quick reads. Will definitely look into another book by this author.
Mesmerizing from start to finish. I couldn't put it down.
All three stories are well plotted and well written and keep you reading until the end. They are packed with emotions. From the very beginning there is action, danger, romance and the wolves are captivating. All three stories are totally different, each with awesome unique elements. The only similarity is the real love and of course the wolf. I don't want to give away any spoilers. I think the main thing you need to know is that the stories are intense, steamy, dramatic, passionate and intriguing. This book is a real treat and I would love to read more about each main character. I can highly recommend it. Again, Bridget has delivered excellent work.

Wolf Pack By: Bridget Essex Narrated by: Ava Lucas
I enjoyed this collection of short novellas, they are well written and well told. I liked the variety of stories, they are all F/F PNR and have interesting storylines and characters. They are unrelated book but each is enjoyable in their own way. The first story is “Wolf Heart” Abby Reynolds heads to her family’s cabin at Allegany State park for some R&R. Barbara, the park ranger, was never friendly but she acts even stranger this time, tells her she should leave, that it is not safe to stay there. She does not leave and her when she finds a woman in the bath house her stay gets more exciting. There was an instant attraction between her and Shannon. I enjoyed how their story played out and the surprise twist it brought and the steamy romance. The second book is “A Wolf for Valentines Day” Trish has not taken any time for herself in years, her love life is non-existent. Her sister gives her a gift certificate for a three night stay at Rainbow Yoga’s Annual Valentine’s Day Singles Retreat. She was hesitant about going but was happy she did, she had a wonderful roommate, Kennedy, and it was the start to a sweet romance. I liked who Kennedy turned to be, liked how accepting Trish was too. The third book is “Wolf Queen” and is Amber & Stevie’s story and is a 2nd chance romance. They were in love when they were younger, had plans to leave their small town and head to a big city where they could be more open about their relationship. The day they were supposed to leave Stevie never shows up at the bus station, Amber tried finding her but saw her family had upped and left, leaving no note or forwarding address. Amber went to Chicago on her own. Stevie shows back up seven years later wanting to explain what happened. Of the three stories, this one had the most feels, what happened to Stevie, the heartbreak they suffered and how she never gave up looking for Amber. Bridget Essex, thank you for these great stories and the emotional rollercoaster ride.
I listened to the Audible edition, narrated by the talented Ava Lucas. She is a wonderful voice performer and an entertaining storyteller. She sets the perfect tone for the stories, brings the characters to life giving each their own voice and personality as well as heart and attitude. It is always a pleasure to listen to her work. Thank you for another great listen🎧

3 short stories, each very similar I was taken with the charm of Bridget Essex's Just One Knight (book 5 in the Knight's Legend series) So I thought I try some of her other books. It was either Vampires or Werewolves, so I went furry why not. This is three stories about ordinary women who like other women, and who meet that one amazing lady they have been waiting their whole lives for. These short stories aren't as charming as the Knight story, but they aren't as cartoon silly either. In each story intentional obfuscation and double talk lead to the same misunderstandings that are bypassed but never resolved. The Main character does at least one improbable or unlikely thing to advance the story. There is one sex scene per story and thank god Bridget does not have her characters talking throughout the sex like every other romance writer seems to do. So +star for that alone. There is an element of melancholy in each story. It's not pervasive throughout the collection, but it is present to a lesser degree in the first two stories, and laid on with a trowel in story three. Maybe Bridget finds that romantic? Anyway, these 3 stories are fairly sexy, decently written, a bit repetitive, but ultimately relatable on a human level. I found myself rooting for the MC even when she was being thick as a post or leaping to conclusions, in the end I still found myself caring and wishing for her happiness.
This trio of F/F short stories was a pretty good introduction to this author for me. I can definitely see she has talent with the strong plot and interesting twists she was able to give in smaller, novella length stories. I did find myself wishing the stories had been longer. But that was because I wanted more time to really get to know and connect with these characters. I felt like I knew one of the women in the couple well but didn't fully get to know or connect with the other. Plus I would have liked to see a more in depth ending in each story.
I did however really like the narrator. I'm a fan of Ava Lucas and the book didn't change that in the slightest. She gave a really good performance and did really well giving distinct tones between the two main characters in each story.
This is a collection of three very well written novellas with well developed characters and engrossing storylines. A big secret threatens to destroy the relationship between the women in each of the stories. Love is strong, but is it strong enough to overcome the differences between the lovers. The only way to find out will be to put this collection on your must-read list!
Three sweet novels each one too short with an HEA, quite sweet a little contrived but imaginative. A good read but I wish they were lo ger and I wanted to see what comes next...
These short stories are fantastic. Really good characters with off the charts chemistry. Hot and steamy F/F scenes that will have you hot under the collar. Ava is brilliant.
All three stories are of high quality, I was just disappointed that I had already read two of them. Should take more notice when buying. Apart from that Bridget has done it again. Three very high quality short stories. I enjoyed all three. I have to admit I wouldn't mind having her imagination. You'll enjoy them.
