Cassandra Wright, after being abandoned by her mother at the age of ten, didn’t feel like she was loved. Her grandmother took on the unexpected responsibility of raising her, giving all the love that she could possibly give, but for Cassandra, something was still missing. At eighteen, Cassandra's life takes another traumatic turn when she loses her Grandmother. Once again, she is left feeling alone and unloved. With so much weighing on her heart, she decided to move away from her hometown to start a new life in Pleasantville, New Jersey.

Pleasantville, it was where life came together for Cassandra. She started college, landed a good job, and met a wonderful group of friends. It was there that she finally found love. Richard Smith, a tall, handsome, and highly successful young man. Richard was like a knight in shining armor and she never imagined that she could be so loved. Life with Richard was amazing and he provided her with everything she needed and everything she always wanted. Cassandra never thought that loving someone so much would eventually end up with her losing everything. How can someone endure so much heartache and pain in one lifetime? Love had abandoned her again and this time, she didn’t know if she could survive.

About the author

I was born and raised in Washington D, C. I’m a mother of one and grandmother to a beautiful little girl. I enjoy reading and writing, relaxing to music, but most of all I love spending time with my family. I worked in the child care field for many years and obtained the education needed to own my own childcare center. Writing has always been a passion of mine and I started writing books as a hobby. But the more I wrote, the more I started to think about becoming a publish author. My family and my friends believed in me and encouraged me to seek a publisher. It took a few more years before I decided to submit a manuscript but I’m so glad I did. I learned so much working with Treasured Publications and I’m more than grateful for the opportunity. The best part of being a published author is connecting with readers and getting their feedback. It only helps me to grow in my craft and I appreciate. My advice to anyone out there with a dream is to never give up and keep striving for success no matter how many people try to discourage you. WOW.!!! Cassie.. get it Together

Cassie experienced heartbreak so early that she wasn’t ready for Trevon and entered the Lion’s Den with Richard. All the signs were there but she ignored them all. She had the family and support she needed, but didn’t see it. #TeamTrevor. Richard has some serious issues, but I get feeling Trevor is the Man to show him the error of his ways!

Wow

This was good but it had me going through it. I cried and cried. I felt so bad for her and I can't stand Richard. It's a shame that a lot of females go through this and never tell anyone and sometimes they don't make it out alive.

This women has been through hell and back...she can't seem to find fullness..All She want to do is be loved... I hope her friends can forgive her..Richard is a hot mess and so is his family...I hope and pray she makes it out..ready for part 2
