Con artist, Portia Lumas, was once a wealthy woman, who was married to a well-known surgeon. She had it all, until one mistake cost her everything. She bails on her court date for fear of going to jail and decides to skip town with her young daughter, Sophia, in tow. Using different aliases and stolen credit cards, the pair settles in a new state.
With the body of a grown woman, Sophia's curves are dangerous! Now a teenager, Sophia, utilizes her seductive skills and becomes a force to be reckoned with. She will do anything to keep mother-dearest happy. Sophia and Portia's relationship is inseparable. When their backs are against the wall, they take measures into their own hands. When a murder occurs in their neighborhood, the pair leaves town and head overseas.
Portia befriends Adalbert, a wealthy businessman. He furnishes her a place to stay, among other things. Once settled, Sophia has plans of her own that don't sit well with Adalbert. Meanwhile, Portia marries Adalbert, who quickly finds out about his wife's candid past and uses it against her to get rid of her daughter. When things don't go the way Portia anticipates, there is hell to pay. Through all the turmoil, deceit, and transgressions, can Portia and Sophia make it back to the states alive?
Inseparable is a twisted, dramatic, and fast paced story about how far a daughter will go to protect her mother.

This is my first time reading this author's work and it has left me speechless, but not in a good way. There was just too much going on with the two main characters.
All that scamming, murders, rape seemed disjointed and evoke no emotion except disgust.
This book had me a Hot Mess. I was sad, mad, happy and a host of other things. This book had me going through all types of emotions. This was a great read.
This read was an interesting one. It almost put me in the mind of a movie, similar to Gone Girl, because of the manipulation and amount of murder. Sophia aka Emma aka Olivia, a young woman mixed with black and white grew up well off. Her mother Portia ensured they lived a lavish lifestyle with expensive clothes and dining. Very early in the book we see Portia commit an act that Sophia is aware of, causing them to move and take on different identities. Sophia is taught that she is her mothers keeper, evoking a loyalty to her where she literally will do whatever she asks/suggests. That is the beginning of the manipulation Portia does to Sophia who is now called Emma. It doesn't end there. The things that transpire are disturbing. Sophia learns from her mother that revenge is necessary when someone backs you into a corner, even if it means murder. That mentality causes the duo to have to move yet again, this time Sophia takes on the identity of Olivia. I appreciated this full stand alone novel. The author did a good job penning this story. I would recommend it to any readers who enjoy books that encompass sex, murder, and blackmail.
This was a great standalone read. I really enjoyed the storyline. It was like being on a rollercoaster ride and kept me on my toes. I felt so bad for Sophia. She never got to live a normal life. I found myself getting mad at all that she went through with her mom. Her mom really pissed me off at times. I hated the way that things ended for Sophia. I had to keep telling myself that it was only a story and not real. Kudos to the author for this one. Pamela, Reviewer@MzJetson.com
Wow! Once I finally sat down & started reading this story, I couldn't stop...Portia & Emma were out of control-these were 2 schemers were something else! At one time, I felt bad for Emma & the life she had been introduced to by mom, Portia. The storyline was quite different & very interesting. This story read like a lifetime movie, & I felt I was present watching the scenes unfold...Great standalone!
This story is well written the things that they did and went through was a rollercoaster ride to say the least. Definitely a good story didn't want it to end even though the ending had me shook awesome work
Sophia,Emma,Olivia f***ing with that mother if hers mess her life up. Greed...... Their whole life down the drain. I didn't care for these characters but the read was crazy
This book was OK. It was a little slow to me..it seemed to drag on. even though .a lot was going on with the mom & daughter.. The mama and daughter were getting on my nerves..
