It's a collection of quotes related to the idea of happiness. Some I find redundant, some amusing, and some touching. The small pocket-sized book is divided into sections, though its purpose remains a little unclear to me: is it divided into stages of happiness? Stages in life? But I think it's interesting... for example, I rather like most of the quotes in the blue section, or "Activity". The silver section, "Finding Your Way" I believe would speak more to an older generation (there are quotes addressing parents).
I also enjoyed reading the green section or "The Guides" filled with quotes by great "thinkers": writers, philosophers, et cetera.
Though the theme is happiness, I find that is more of the foundation. The book also touches on other important aspects of a sound mind - relationships, the individual, and life in general. (Key word: general.)
This portable bundle-of-joy makes a good gift: the page layout and design is pleasing to the eye. It's also good to flip through during times when you feel discouraged or low. Don't go through it in one go, you definitely want to fully capture the essence and contemplate the meaning behind each word or phrase (though some are... eh, redundant).

This book highlights guidelines to lead a happy life are very simple and you've definitely come across a few of them previously. Nonetheless, reading them all at once made me realize that happiness lies in the (not very) simple effort of enjoying the present and being absorbed in whatever activity we choose to be doing.

It's a very simple and easy-read book, that somehow changed my whole perspective.

more than 100 meanings about happiness is defined. Most of them were defined by philosopher, Chinese and other proverbs.

All this book is, is a bunch of quotes, not so appealing to some but to me, being such a sucker for a good quote, this is amazing! It's chalk full of quotes that make you really want to live by them
