From the novel, Wishbone, we have Reflection, continuing with the lives of Chelsea Hodges and Derek Huntington in book two from the Game On trilogy.
When her passionate, white-hot, no strings attached relationship turns serious, Chelsea’s tragic past self-sabotages her future, propelling Derek on a voyage of discovery to win her back.
With her spiral of emotions dragging her even deeper than before, will Derek make it to Chelsea in time before it’s too late?
Reflection is not only the title of Lisa Sommers second book in the Game On series but the definition of this story. Chelsea Hodges has one rule: no strings. In her eyes she can't let anyone in otherwise she might get hurt and Chelsea's heart can't take anymore pain. Derek Huntington has had no shortage of women throw themselves at him but after a few months of a sexual relationship with Chelsea he can't get her off his mind. Craving more from Chelsea, wanting a relationship and all that entails Derek puts his heart on the line. Will Chelsea stop running? Can Derek be the one to heal her?
Emotional, heartbreaking and enthralling are understatements when describing this book. I'm sorry for the short description but this story flows very quickly and I truly don't want to give away anything about this book. Chelsea's such a strong but broken, independent woman for her age and we know know why. Derek the sexy all star known for love'em and leave'em for the first time in his life wants to have someone by his side and he's determined for that to be Chelsea. In my opinion Lisa has done it again and created a fantastic follow up to Wishbone that takes this series to a different level than the standard sports romance. 4.75 Stars

Lisa Sommers is an amazing author and this book was a fantastic read I especially love Chelsea and Derek characters they are a great match together reading book made me happy and sad at time I cried hearing about the loved ones Chelsea lost it broke my heart but Derek never gave up on her he knew something had happen to why she keep pushing him away.. They have true love Derek cares so much for Chelsea and she feels the same
I don't think there is enough great things I can say about this book. I was fortunate enough to receive an advanced copy, and I am glad I didn't have to wait to read this. All I can say is, I wish I could pull Derek from these pages and make him mine.
I do suggest you have a few tissues on hand when you read this, not a lot, but it won't hurt to have a few for when your allergies start acting up. ;)
Reflection is Derek and Chelsea's story. This is the second book in the Game On trilogy. It can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend reading Wishbone, first.
I had the pleasure of reading Reflection this weekend and LOVED it!! Lisa Sommers' writing is funny, witty and tugs at your heartstrings. If you haven't had a chance to read her books than you need to do it now!
Derek was funny, sexy, and had me swooning. I loved how patient and devoted he was, how head strong and committed. Derek is sure to be everyone's next book boyfriend. He's tatted and has a "semi parked in his pants." What more could you ask for? ;)
Oh, Chelsea. I loved her in Wishbone and I knew Lisa Sommers would do an amazing job on her story. Chelsea carries a secret from her past, one that she hasn't shared with anyone. She is out-going, Alli's best friend and very sexual. She is one of my favorite characters! Her personality is awesome and I would love to have a friend like her.
Reflection's cover is perfect and HOT! There is one scene that fits it perfectly and I had no problem picturing these models, Lance Jones and Kimberly Wright, as Chelsea and Derek. Kelly Emery and Shauna Kruse rocked it!!
Book #2 of the Game On Trilogy, Derek and Chelsea's story. Can be read as a standalone.
This book was one if not my favorite read so far, and I love reading. If I could have a Derek in my life I so would not let him go! He is just pretty much what every girl wants in a guy. Chelsea has experienced so much pain, it's hard to feel it if you have never been through what she did, this makes her so guarded of her feelings. She doesn't want to get hurt nor hurt Derek.
This book is so passionate, it shows real heartache and love and just so amazing, oh the feels! Lisa did a great job, yet again.
P.S. I was very very lucky to received an ARC for a honest review. ;)
Reflection is the second book in the Game On series and a must read! I love the way the characters interact with each other and how the story unfolds. I was not able to predict what would happen and was surprised throughout the book. The characters are depicted perfectly through the entire book. As I read Reflection I felt every emotion the characters experienced.
Reflection could be read as a stand alone book but I highly recommend reading Wishbone first.
HELLZ me what an outstanding BOOK! This series is amazing.. So much passion I had tears in my eyes toward the end of the story. I hated it to end and very crazy, madly in love with Derek.. He and Chelsea had so much chemistry It was painful to see them separate as briefly as their time had been. I was rooting for them every painful step of the way! Cannot wait for Cal's story!
