I really enjoyed this book and feel that the author has made genuine efforts to discover what happened to the lost tribes of Israel using archaeological evidence and historical accounts from a variety of sources. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in biblical history. The downside to this book would be the authors bias concerning some of the subject matter, as well as use of terminology that is outdated and unacceptable today. As will all older publications, it's important to keep in mind that this should not distract from the overall message and truths presented concerning the formation of modern cultures and nations.
