Jordan Meroni is different. To anyone outside of being enlightened, they would only feel a strange sense that something is off. But to those who are, to those who hold the light or dark inside of them, the world is a much different place.
When Jordan's mother dies from the hands of the Dark Souls, she makes it her mission in life to hunt those down who took away the only person whoever mattered to her. But along the way, Jordan realizes she is changing, and she needs to figure out why.
Along the way she is reintroduced with a woman from her past that may hold the answers. But what those answers hold, Jordan realizes, is something that she never saw coming.

I’d have given this a 5 star rating if the editing had been properly done but it needs a second round to clean it up for perfection.
I’m eagerly awaiting the second book now and am kind a happy this wasn’t a one and done, cause these women of light and darkness need more time together. I loved how they just naturally bonded and easily adapted to their difficult situation of fate and prophecy, of course knowing you have a soulmate to help you out of dangerous situations probably helps. But both characters have that enviable self-sacrificing spirit so it’s no wonder the ending was epic and that epilogue was just great, leaving me wanting the next book ASAP.
Really good book, great story. I wish the characters had more depth. The biggest issue I had was the fact that the person that edited the book apparently didn’t read it as the errors were juvenile for an editor to miss and annoying. Otherwise I just wish there were more background, character depth, and descriptive growth instead of assumed.
Definitely a must read it you enjoy paranormal romance. Can't wait for the next volume to read! The story definitely had my brain going trying to figure the ending but of course, this is Volume one...
Could not put to rest! Excellent reading! The characters depict a love that is magical to find and feel! When I was reading it I felt their love, their anguish and their relief so real as if I were there.
