"Sometimes you've got to look to your past to find your future." ~Coco, owner of the Silk Stocking Inn A deliciously sexy cowboy romance from bestselling authors Tess Oliver and Anna Hart. After a tragic childhood, Rebecca now has everything she needs for happiness, a great job as producer on a popular kid's show and a loving fiancé, Nate, her long time college sweetheart. But when her relationship takes a bad turn, she once again finds herself trying to cope with heartbreak and disappointment. When a wrong turn takes her to the door of the Silk Stocking Inn, Rebecca meets Jackson, a sweet talkin' cowboy with a mesmerizing green gaze and just enough swagger to warm her heart and... a few other places too.
Mocha Latte is a sexy standalone romance that's part of the Silk Stocking Inn series.
Tess Oliver is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the Custom Culture series and a large collection of other romances. She is well known for her relatable characters who "become your friends" as you journey with them and for intriguing stories that will have you "devouring her books in just one day". Tess has been featured on USA Today's 'Happy Ever After' site, and in publications including Glamour UK and Elle UK magazines.
My favorite in this series so far. I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick easy read that as always held my interest. I really enjoy the characters and building relationships.
Mocha Latte is the third book in the Silk Stocking Inn Series and I loved it. What is not to love! Tess Oliver and Anna Hart once again show you what a great read is! Take a couple of great characters, Rebecca and Jackson, put them in a great setting, The Silk Stocking Inn, add a great fairy godmother like Coco and poof! We get an awesome read perfect for a lazy afternoon, or to read during a break at lunch, or before bed, because once you start reading it, like me you will not stop until you finish this story. The one thing Coco says when this book starts out is "Sometimes you've got to look to your past to find your future." Thi makes Rebecca think about that very statement when she sees where she winds up.
Rebecca is feeling the pain of having her world turned upside down after her Fiance of 6 years calls her up days before the wedding and lets her know he is calling everything off. At first Rebecca is upset but as the weeks go by she realizes that their relationship had turned commonplace and dull a long time ago.
During a day at work, a website called the Silk Stocking Inn pops up and states across the screen- We will be seeing you really soon! One friday night she is getting ready to go home and the site pops up again and states "It's time for that weekend away, Rebecca. Happiness awaits you." She turns off the computer and goes to leave and sees the computer has popped back on! She sits at the keyboard and types in "Is this a prank?" The computer types out "Not at all. See you soon." Then the computer shuts down.
On her way home, she takes a wrong turn and the fog is so thick she gets turned around and lands right in front of a house, the one from the website! She looks for her phone and receives a text message- "Now that you are here, come on up to the house. I've just finished a batch of my newest cupcake flavor-mocha latte." So Rebecca goes up to the door knocks and the door opens and Coco calls out for her to come into the room near the kitchen and Coco tells her to help herself. She tries the cupcake and it is so good she eats it in 3 bites-and then sees the handsome looking cowboy watching her! They talk a bit and she is fascinated by Jackson, a tall dark and handsome cowboy that sends her back to thinking about how happy she had once been, living on her grandfather's ranch.
Read on and see what happens to these two- but let me just say, sit back, have yourself a nice glass of wine or whatever you like to drink and enjoy this awesome book, filled with all kinds of feels, like happy memories, and not so happy memories and the beginnings of something that feels a lot like love! Will Jackson and Rebecca get a happily ever after? After just knowing each other for a weekend that goes by way too fast? ou will have to read this to find out how this story turns out, but with Coco running the show behind the scenes the odds are good!
I gave this book 5 *****glittery stars and you can read this book without reading the other two first; Red Velvet and Salted Caramel, but it will be a lot better if you read the others first so you can see what is going on from the beginning of the series!
I Was Provided A ARC By The Author (Possible Spoilers)
Rebecca is in need of a break, of a fresh start. She has recently gone through a break up from a man she was with for six years. She finds herself feeling more relieved than hurt from the breakup. Becca finds herself at the silk stocking inn, devouring a cupcake, not long after seeing the inn splashed across her computer screen. She decides she needs to get back to who she was. This place is a little piece of home, from the clothes, to the food, her surroundings all remind her of a time when she was on her grandfathers ranch. She even has her own cowboy to keep her weekend adventurous, and filled with lots of passion. Jackson, is the tall, dark haired gentlemen, rocking Levi's, boots, and a cowboy hat perfectly. He's who Becca needs to sweeps her off her feet and leave her breathless.
I LOVED Becca & Jackson's book. It was so sweet and sexy, filled with lots of steamy moments and a women getting a second chance at happiness. Over her weekend at the Silk Stocking Inn, she's re-introduced to her love for the country and everything that comes with it. Jackson is another yummy male lead in this series. I love cowboys and Jackson is one I will defiantly remember, with his good looks and dirty talking ways. These two go together perfectly. I just love this mysterious and sexy series. I hope Mocha Latte is not the last in the series. Because I'll be waiting impatiently to dive into more of these books.
I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Mocha Latte is book three and the final book in the Silk Stocking Inn series by Tess Oliver and Anna Hart. Once again these two ladies have delivered such a wonderful story. Mocha Latte tells the story of Becca and Jackson. Becca is a producer of a children’s show, who is dumped by her fiancée’. She gets lost on her way home from work and stumbles upon the Silk Stocking Inn. Once again Coco, our favorite fairy godmother and owner of Inn, is there inviting and offering Becca decadent treats and a magical weekend. Then there is Jackson, HOT, sizzling cowboy, who is working at the Inn and staying in room across from Becca. There Becca and Jackson realize how much chemistry they have and given in to a weekend full of scorching sex. Will they find love and be together in the end??? I’m not telling. You will have to read the story yourself to find out. Mocha Latte is a short story that allows you to escape for a time, and has you feeling so many emotions and enjoying some erotic sex scenes that will have your toes curling. This was a great ending to the series. Each book in this series (Red Velvet, Salted Caramel, and Mocha Latte) features a different couple that can be read separately, but truly this is a series you must not miss out on. I am truly a fan and I cannot wait to see what is next for Tess Oliver and Anna Hart. Thank you ladies, for a fantastic series!
This series brings a smile with each story. The stories have me wishing there really is a fairy godmother. We could all end up with the happily ever after that the female character gets in each story. Becca has been dumped in the worst possible way. For weeks, she drowns her sorrows in her work as a producer. At times, the magic of Silk Stocking Inn pops up ads/hints on her computer. She arrives at Silk Stocking Inn to be greeted by Coco and a Mocha Latte cupcake. The orgasmic confection has her gaining Jackson's attention. Jackson is drool worthy. He takes care of the horses at the hotel (such a cool place to change with each female guest). He will also take care of Becca. Get ready to swoon as he pulls out all stops to put a smile on Becca's face. If the stories weren't wonderful enough, they come with a recipe. Now if I could only find someone to make them.
I'm back to how I felt with book one in the series. I didn't think the dialogue was that great. How many times can the room be described as Sumptuous? And bottom? with all the other words being used i.e. pu**y , you would think a more modern word like ass could be used.
Becca has a good job, a fiancee, and is planning her wedding. Well, she was til the asshat called. Now, Becca has thrown herself into work and avoids social things. Closing up her office at the end of a long day, she's reminded of the odd marketing of the Silk Stocking Inn.
Marketing ploy or not, Becca can't seem to avoid it. Better yet, she embraces the mini vacation Coco promises. Embraces the vacation and the stupidly cowboy, Jackson, too.
Each Silk Stocking Inn book features one couple looking to cure their lonely hearts- even if they never knew it. Fantasy Island for lonely hearts with extra steamy nights...
I love this series and look forward to more. Each novella has a different dreamy man and some extra hot sexy time. The authors know how to turn up the heat. If you want to enjoy the title as well, they always include the matching recipe.
Mocha Latte is the third installment (but hopefully not the last!) of the Silk Stocking Inn series from Tess Oliver and Anna Hart. The first is Red Velvet and the second is Salted Caramel.
Mocha Latte centers around Rebecca, a children's television show producer who is dumped by her fiance while making wedding plans. Becca keeps to herself for a few weeks and then on her way home one Friday, she takes a wrong turn (or is it the correct turn, hehe) and ends up at the Silk Stocking Inn. The owner, Coco, offers Becca a weekend stay to forget her sorrows.
Becca meets Jackson, a rugged cowboy, with gorgeous green eyes, who seems to have the same instant attraction to her that she has for him. The rest of the story is their weekend together. It's sexy and sweet and just a great read. Get your copy today!
Loved it! Mocha latte was filled with just as much manly delight as the other two books. Becca is a producer of a children's show, who is dumped by phone by her soon to be husband who has found himself a younger and firmer body woman. whilst traveling home from work Becca some how ends up at the Silk Stocking Inn where she meets Jackson a gorgeous green eye cowboy to help her through her break up. Then there's Coco the lovely owner of the Silk Stocking Inn, who is up to her usual magical nudge in the love direction with cakes, food and wine and not forgetting the sexy underwear to help move things along that little bit quicker.
This one was probably the best out of the whole series. I got more of a backstory with Becca. I liked being able to get a look into her past to see why she was the way she was in the present. Very cute, insta-love/lust and I have to say, Jackson was the sweetest and most adorable out of the whole bunch. I thought by the end of this book I would have gotten an explanation about the whole mystical aspect of the book…with the owner Coco. But sadly, no. I was very disappointed with that. I kind of just wanted a blurb or a couple pages of something to explain what was going on. I don’t care if it was so farfetched it was not believable but I WANTED SOMETHING MORE!!!
Sometimes Jackson just acts on his actions and damn if it wasn't sexy, “interested?” A short laugh followed as he raked his fingers through his dark hair. “Looking at you standing there in that sexy nightgown , Becca, gives interested a whole new meaning.” He took hold of my arm and pulled me into his strong embrace. His mouth came down hard over mine." Jackson just oozes confidence, “I can give you a much better ride than any ole’ horse.” I loved Jackson this one I'm thinking is my favorite out of the series I always love me some cowboys, each book just got better to be honest. I'm hoping there's more to come.
Best of the series! The Silk Stocking Inn has another satisfied customer. Somehow Coco, the magical innkeeper, manages to fulfill fantasies and bake yummy concoctions. Becca has suffered a failed relationship, not really a broken heart, but trudges through life anyway. Finding herself at the Inn with a cowboy, and lots of memories of her childhood on the ranch, she gets the true fairytale. Fair warning this is one hot book, it's actually shorter than I hoped but very enjoyable. Each fantasy can be read separately or in order. My copy was given for my honest review.
This is the third story from Tess Oliver and Ann Hart's Silk Stocking Inn Series and I loved it!! How can you not love a story that has a fairy godmother who brings tasty treats and knows all your secret desires. One weekend at the Silk Stocking Inn with Coco and your bound to fall in love. Becca and Jackson have so much heat for eachother it is sizzling off pages from the book. I wished this was alittle longer but I still enjoyed every page. 5 Stars to Olive and Hart for another tasty read. I received this book as an ARC for an honest review
This is the third in the series The Silk Stocking Inn. Each story can be read as a standalone. Coco once again magically makes the hearts desires come true. Becca has just had her heart broken and ends up at the Inn. She reconnects with her childhood memories on a ranch with her Grandfather and finds herself.with just the right cowboy and on the path for a happily ever after. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
~received an ARC for honest review~ Coco is at it again at the silk stocking inn,and her mysterious ways..I would so love to have coco as my fairy godmother...Once again we see a strong women missing true love in her life, Becca, showing up on Cocos doorstep after a wrong turn, and in mocha latte we get a hot cowboy Jackson! Loved this book and it is most definitely my favorite of the series..this whole series is a must read!
Why of course I love chocolate and coffee! Book 3 in the Silk Stocking Inn was a great quick read. I have never been into cowboys but there are a few that could change my mind the Eastwood men and now Jackson! Loved how this book took the main character Becca back to her roots and reminded her of how much she is worth. Jackson added a little heat but with the greatest sincerity that makes you want to pull on your boots and live in that world! Another fun, but delicious read by Tess and Anna!
Coco whips up some more magic this time on Rebecca and Jackson... Rebecca was just dumped by her fiancé and Jackson is a cowboy that moves where the work takes him...they both find themselves at Silk Stockings Inn .... This story was sinfully sexy just like the previous books ... Loved it and love the duo Tess Oliver and Anna Hart!!!! ARC review
Mocha Latte is book 3 in the Silk Stocking Inn series and I love this book. If I found a place like Silk Stocking Inn, I would never leave the place. I love Jackson and Becca's story, it's sweet, sexy and filled with lots of steamy moments. I can't wait to read more. Thank you Tess Oliver and Anna Hart for a wonderful read.
Although Mocha Latte is not my favourites cupcake......I think this book in the collection is!! Who doesn't want a hot cowboy to come and sweep them off their feet and Jackson is one hot cowboy!! Absolutely loving these hot, sweet novellas!!
OMG this one is by far my favorite of the series!! Jackson is tall and handsome and a cowboy!! His connection with Becca is swoon worthy!! I devoured this one, I couldn't put it down!!!
