But not all things can be bought, especially not the one thing she wants most in the world.

Kent Plack dropped his bachelor-for-life status when a certain green-eyed beauty captured his heart. He made vows to make her the happiest wife, and he’s determined to give her the world. But when an unexpected turn of events flips him from his axis, the one thing that Bethany wants from him is the only thing Kent is unsure he can give her.

Mia Kayla is a USA Today Bestselling romance author of hunky heroes and sassy heroines that always get their happily forever afters.

On the weekdays, she can be caught wearing a suit, commuting to her corporate job in downtown Chicago and raising three beautiful munchkins in the suburbs, four if you count the husband. Most of the time, she can be caught on the train with her nose in a book sporting a cheeky grin because the main characters finally get their happily-ever-after at the end.

She loves reading about happy endings but has more fun writing them.

I actually read this in a day (yayyyy I haven't done that in a while!)

I was a bit let down by it, I think because Marry Me for Money was so gripping and I was so invested, this book just wasn't the same for me. I know you shouldn't compare, but something changed. What was so gripping was Kent and Beth's relationship, and we didn't really get to see that this time round...

I understand why, but I don't know. Kent annoyed me a bit but so did Beth and Kents parents weren't really in it, and I really liked them as characters.

Bit of a shame really, but it was okay!

Forever After Book 2
Marriage has it's ups and downs definetely. Kent and Beth's story continues and it was a roller coaster of emotions.
After they have been married for two years, they haven't had the "baby talk". Suddenly Beth had an unexpected surprise in the way, and Kent cannot deal.
Their struggle of love and wanting a baby was on the line, Kent cannot seem to see himself as a father because he thinks he is not capable. I know because I cannot really see myself as a mother in the near future. He doesn't have a filter which makes things a lot worst. Kent had been throwing around comments and Beth cannot take the stress if Kent even wanted to have a baby.
Honestly, I was also heart broken with what happened with Beth cause all she wanted was the support from Kent.
The way they figured things out was very emotional and very honest with each other. I realized that marriage is also a partnership that should be coped with honesty and compromise and most of all understanding.
I loved this book from the very beginning till the end!

Beth'i çocuk yapmak için kendini oyuna getirdiğini söylemek suretiyle suçluyor. İşte keşke bu kadar üstüne gitmemiş olsaydı. Beth'in bakış açısından bakınca insanın kalbi kırılıyor hakikaten.

The second part of Beth and Kent's story, where Kent is still a selfish bastard and Beth is having none of that.

I hated Kent in this book, he was an even bigger brat and was very selfish, but I liked the way Beth handled the situation. She may seem a little bit over the top sometimes, but I think that's the result of dealing with someone like Kent. I liked this book better, there was more conflict, but I liked how it worked out at the end.

Once again Mia Kayla has given me another book hangover by sucking me into her world happily ever afters. In Love After Marriage we catch up with our funny, charismatic rich boy Kent and his girl Beth two years after their own epic happily ever after. You must read Marry Me for Money first before reading Love After Marriage in order to really understand the backstory that Kayla has created with these two. In Love After Marriage, we find that the last two years has definitely been good to Beth and Kent as they’ve grown individually and as a couple. Having finally found his place in the world beside Beth, Kent is running Plack Industries and has became the man he was meant to be. Beth has climbed her way up to success over these last two years running Plack Industries alongside her the love of her life. What could be better for these two? However as good as time has been for these two during their first few years of marriage, life is changing. When unexpected events, insecurities and their views on happily ever after turns their marriage on end, Beth and Kent must decide if their marriage is more than passion and meant to be a forever love. Even the best of happily evers can be rocky right?

Kayla is one of those indie authors who needs to be recognized for her exceptional storytelling. With each book Kayla puts out, she perfects her craft. She gives solid, well written characters that you just can’t get enough of and demand more. With Love After Marriage, you get the chance to fall in love with Kent and Beth all over again as they navigate these troubled waters. Your faith in marriage and happily ever afters is renewed with each page Kayla writes. She is one of those authors who can’t help but make you feel good as you read and long after you devoured her story.
If you love a happily ever after, amazing characters, and a wonderfully written story of love make sure you one click Mia Kayla’s books!

Oh the story of marriage....... Well for these two it's a marriage of passion and love. The wedding that started out as a business plan so to speak evolved into a real emotional true love. Beth and Kent are what a poster of the perfect couple are truly.
While I haven't read Marry Me For Money yet, I was able to still fall in love with this couple.
As in all marriages, it has a certain evolvement as you go along, especially after two years. When friends start having babies it lights something inside of Beth. While they never really discussed a family, she assumes that Kent wants one eventually right?
Beth didn't exactly have the model upbringing with a mother that was out of her life more than in, a father who didn't want her and never met, and being raised by her grandmother. She wants a life full of happiness with her husband.
When it all crumbles down can she handle if this isn't a dream of his as well?
When passions ignite and can't be stopped, can you always be so careful?
Well you better read and find out because I'm not about to spoil this story!
I cannot wait to go back and read Marry Me For Money and see where their story started.
I hope there is more in this series from this author because I am in love!

Ugh I'm so disappointed. Kent was the same as before but Beth bugged the hell out of me. I get it, you're pregnant but that's no excuse to be a bitch to your husband. You married this guy. You know he's got a tendency to be selfish and jealous and all alpha male and takes forever to accept changes AND you willingly married him and you talk all crap about marriage being forever until you hit a bump. They've never had a serious conversation about children but whenever she brought it up before, he'd brush it off. Um it's obvious he's not ready for it yet and she's surprised when he reacts the way that i knew he would react because he isn't ready and he needs more than 2 seconds to process this huge change.

Then she kept bitching and moaning about the argument and when he does try to talk to her, she shuts him down, gives him the cold shoulder and yells at him. Okay way to be mature married adults, you won't even let him talk. She was so annoying and then after Jason kissed her, she's all like I'm gonna live with Caroline for now. REALLY?!?! Kent is trying to talk to you and you just wanna leave. What do you expect him to believe? THEN YOU GO TO THE ULTRASOUND WITHOUT HIM?!?!? are you freaking kidding me!!!! I lost all respect for her when she did that. She wants him to change how he feels about the baby but doesn't even tell him about the US! That's a big freaking deal. Ugh that was just the end of Beth for me.

And going on and on and on about the stress because of this argument. But instead of dealing with the argument to be stress free, she goes and freaking drags it out. THE VERY NEXT DAY Kent wanted to talk and clear the air and she brushes him off. But then her inner monologue is all like we don't have time for me to wait for him to be ready. Bitch you do know you have 9 months before giving birth right? I just couldn't stand her selfish, holier than thou point of view with her marriage where she hasn't done anything wrong. Also why would you seek comfort from a guy (her ex) when you knew that your husband wouldn't be comfortable with it. Like do what you want cause I know you're not cheating but be considerate of your husband. Sheesh. This book angered me so much.

Also, actual quote from the book: "sad as it seems, my husband and my baby were my priority". Huh? What? Why is that sad? They should be your priority...

Incredible ending to a story with everything

Love After Marriage
Forever After book 2
Miss Kayla
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I didn’t think it was possible to love a story more than Marry Me For Money, but this one blew me away. I had an real soft spot for Beth, Kent, well he was a bit infuriating, but had one me over by the end. Love After Marriage is a continuation of their story, and what a Freaking Amazing Story It Was!

Be prepared to laugh, throw things, and cry, I haven’t read a story with so much emotion in months. After Kent and Beth discovered their marriage was more than convenience , the love and romance skyrocketed. If it heated up Beth on screen, it had the same impact to me as the reader.

Kent Plack, has always gotten what he wanted, but winning Beth Casse was like the million dollar win (not that this millionaire needs anymore money). His life before her was one channeled, behaving badly, not working, spending obscene amounts of money, but Beth woke him up to another world. Now as his wife for real this time, their life has changed ten fold… Working together at Plack Industries, and spending every waking hour together would test any relationship, but Kent always knows how to handle Beth, until a massive life change will change everything for them.

With very different views on their futures , what Beth wants and Kent can supply are very different, leaving a fractious marriage, and 2 lives torn. Who will make the ultimate decision for their forever after or ultimate loss?

You must read this series, if you enjoy sexy aloha men, super strong heroines, funny banter, sexy times and family drama (both good and bad)

okay

Okay sequel to Marry Me for Money.you definitely need to read that book first though to fully understand the characters and backstory of Kent and Beth. In this one, they get accidentally pregnant which triggers a crisis in their marriage. There is some drama with Beth’s ex-hs boyfriend that feels a bit contrived to further complicate their conflicting feelings over the pregnancy. In much the same way as the first book, the emotions and drama feels a little bit over the top (you know, like the character falling to their knees and pulling their hair when upset {insert eye roll}). But I thought the book did a good job and moving the storyline from book 1 along with Kent’s parents and Beth’s mom and mostly ties up everything to a final conclusion. It’s a short read, as others have mentioned. Might as well finish the series if you enjoyed book 1.

Beth and Kent and lots of twists and turns

I loved catching up with Beth and Kent in this book as a married couple. While, it’s a total stand alone novel by itself, it takes you right back to the struggles Kent had to overcome to win Beth and how intense and real their love has become.

The present day Kent is more debonair businessman and no longer the eternal playboy. But will impending fatherhood doom their relationship.

Beth and Kent still make me swoon and the sub characters only accentuate the plot in the best of ways

Another 1 sitting read from Mia. I love her writing style and thoroughly enjoyed the continuation of Beth and Kent's relationship. What I've loved about these books so far is you get the HEA in the first book but then you catch a glimpse into life after the HEA. Showing it's not all roses and takes work. Yes Mia definitely has a new fan here. This was a kindle unlimited book so another free read. 3.5 stars

Beth and Kent's story continues in Love After Marriage and it's every bit as enjoyable and entertaining as Marry Me For Money. Kent's selfish self rears its ugly head again after a discovery and it sends Beth reeling. It seems that he needs to be him over the head in order for some sense to get knocked into him. His trial by fire was both funny and endearing. The epilogue was the perfect way to close out this romance.

Excellent!

Loved it! Beth and Kent have been married for 2 years and both work for his family's company! Life is wonderful and then it is not! Things unexpected occur that Kent has problems accepting. He is almost OCD and plans; he also has no filter on what he says so his comments upset Beth! They struggle with the situation and learn love survives the bad as well as the good! Description of Kent googling YouTube video on how to change a diaper is hilarious!

Love After Marriage Can Be Hard ♥️🍼💵💙

This was a great continuation of Kent and Beth’s story. It is very realistic of how men can react to the surprising news of impending fatherhood. It can be scary for some, and for Kent, playboy turned doting husband, it was overwhelming.

I liked how they worked tho hs out. Ex-boyfriends, pregnancy scares, deadbeat mothers and insecurities are all overcome. A good book!

Was hoping for more

I loved the first book but felt this story was rushed and ended abruptly. I usually try not to write bad reviews but I really wanted this sequel to be as good as the first. I think it was fine up uhh until the final few chapters. Really wanted to give it more stars.

Book 2

So I have been absolutely devouring this series, and this book brought out all of my emotions like for real at one point I wanted to scream and shake Beth! While you may not ave such strong reactions like that this is a book I think you won't be able to put down.
Now my hard choice is to go to sleep, or start reading the next book in the series lol

I was NOT feeling Beth, super annoyed with her. Kent was ok, same selfish spoiled man but at least he was true to who he was. When a life changing event happens for them, Kent doesn't handle it well and the way Beth handles Kent was a bit much. Yes put your foot down but also know that you're (Beth) not handling things in the best manner either.

Loved it!!

I am loving these stories that are all connected to these great characters! I have been pleasantly surprised with each because I really wasn't selectively good writing. This second episode of the life of Kent & Beth (after marriage) was a great fjll-in to answer questions about how things progressed. Loved it!

I can count on one hand the number of books I quit reading, and this is one of them. First off the guy is terrible; just because you’re married doesn’t mean you don’t have to abide by the word “No”. Then the fighting and stubborn heads. They make up for about 10 seconds then another fight starts because they’re both stupid. Who wants to read that? Not me!

I enjoyed this. Marriage after the beginning of bliss isn’t always perfect. We get to see their ups and downs and the fears and insecurities that still lie beneath the surface. We also get to see what marriage is really about. Work. You have to work together to make it work. Beautiful story.

What a freaking awwdorable finish to this lovely story about these lovely characters. Kent and Beth needed a little extra, since they aren't easy to let go, so I am so glad this book exists. I would've loved more baby em scenes, and baby no. 2 hints. Man Kent's parents are freaking adorable
