Fire in the hole! Those were the last words Quinn Gallagher heard before her mighty ship sunk beneath the waves. Now she’s adrift in more ways than one as she attempts to flee from all those who would push her under… underground, under water, and of course under the covers.

The Spanish Inquisition, the angry Queen, Moroccan pirates, and even those she once thought of as friends, all pursue her doggedly forcing her to delve even deeper into her tumultuous pirate persona.

Quinn still wants to figure out who she really is, but will she ever get the chance? Or will finding herself also mean finding her end?

Wow! This book was so exciting!! So packed with action that I couldn’t stop reading omg So full of adventure and danger and heavy deep subjects... damn... But I loved every bit. And I can’t wait to start reading book 4 and that’s exactly what I’m gonna do right now 😎

This one I love. Idk why but I prefer Quinn relationship with Sayyida, they got the fire, the chemistry is burning, not to mention Moroccan depicted very exotic and exciting in the whole book. Of all the women she'd bedded, this one fiery pirate actually could become her equal. And I see Sayyida as a tough pirate with very very gentle heart, which is why she treated Quinn kindly, like the gentleman that she is.

I finally realized that Alex Westmore is Linda Kay Silva. It makes sense now why this Kindle Unlimited series is so good. Not only is the Plundered Chronicles good for Kindle U books, they are some of the better lesbian pirate books written period.
While, I didn't quite like this one as much as the previous two, it is still a page-turning, swashbuckling, adventure. Fire in the Hole, definitely has more grit than the other books. The adventures are tougher, and it takes its toll on the crew of the Malendroke.
What I like more about this book, is Quinn finally seems to be growing up. Things have never been tougher for her, and it forces her to take back control and decide what path her life is taking. While Quinn still has problems in the lover department, she stops her whining from book 2 and tries to truly understand her heart.
If you enjoyed book 1 and book 2, don't hesitate to read this. If you are new to the series, start at book 1, these are not real stand-alone books. I will anxiously be awaiting book 4.

This series borders on a shaggy-dog tale, with our intrepid heroes bouncing from one event to another. The bond among the pirate crew is developed and strengthened, but there is more angst too. A little more sex doesn't really offset the lack of Capt O'Malley. Also, the main adversary sails beyond the horizon, likely to return in a future installment.

The writing itself is delightful - I just wish the story would move toward a destination. But there are at least 3 more books to go, and I will read them, just not all at once.

Too much time spent land based, dealing with historical politics and blah. i could care less by the third time they had to save Mary the queen of Scott's. Aside from that it was a gripping tale, but their land travels kept leading me to be distracted by other books.

I truly loved this book, of course there were some parts I found slightly repetitive thats why I gave it 4 and not 5 stars.
I shed some tears during this story and was honestly moved! So far I can say this series is worth your time!

Love this series

Title says it all. I love this series. Book 3 is a lot of soul searching for Callaghan, but it is well done. She starts discovering who she is and who she is destined to be with. Personally, I'm rooting for Sayyida.

Drama... I love this. But can I please have Grace and Quin. Yes, that Morocco pirate was hot, but I want this ship. I hope it doesn't drag until I lose interest.

#1 The Pirate's Booty ★★★★☆
#2 Shiver Her Timbers ★★★★☆
#3 Fire in the Hole - DNF

I'm going to have to DNF the series here. I feel like the plots are dragging on and onnn, and the action has become boring for me. I put the book down several months ago, had a bit of a change of reading scenery with the hopes that when I came back my interest would be sparked anew, recently opened it back up and am not inspired to continue whatsoever.

Another amazing entry in Quinn's story! This time dealing heavily in true identity and how masks and dividing who we are chips away at our souls. How the events of our lives weigh us down over time. I've already started the next book as I can't wait to see where Quinn goes from here!

This book was a lot heavier and darker than the previous two, but I really enjoyed it. It prevented it from becoming boring. I also really liked the journey of Quinn discovering herself and figuring out what she wants.
Excited for the next!

Loved every single minute of this book.

I don’t know how many times I have read and re-read this book. I loved every bit. I only wish there was more of Sayyida Al Hurra in this series.
