Deceitful Hearts
Phoenix had been taught from birth that showing love would get her killed. Brought up around the city’s most notorious murder squad, Phoenix becomes just as ruthless as them. She thought she had it all figured out, putting in just as much work as them until she let the softer part of her fall in love.
Oliver nicknamed Ollie by his crew was a young street soldier from around the way. Skilled and very eager to put in work. He had a job to do and he planned on doing it. This was like the hottest, craziest read of the year by far!!!
This was A'Zayler at her finest! Who comes up with a storyline as wild, passionate and scandalous as this? A freaking writing beast who continues to outdo herself every single time she drops a book. I did not see this coming but I'm she stepped out there and gave us something different! The Zoo crew, although fictional, embodied the term of family over everyone. Even in the most tragic times, the crew remained their brother's keeper. While I had hoped there was a happier ending, the story from beginning to end did not disappoint.

I really enjoyed this book!! This author normally don't write like this but babyyy she came with it! I felt like I was apart of the Zoo Crew lol I loved Tone character he was so damn smart and cruel he fooled me good too I absolutely loved the hidden secrets in this book my mouth was in a O so many times I loved it!

i did not want there to be as many foul folks in this book as it was!!!! I'm glad that Tone's love shined through for his sister.....sad about Bear wish it was a way he could've gotten out of it with a lighter sentence! GREAT READ

This book was unlike anything that I've read from this author and for a minute I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. But before I jump ahead of myself let me begin at the beginning. This book begins with the crew otherwise known as the Zoo Crew. It was comprised of Tone, the head, Bear, second in charge if you will, Zino, Tek, Ollie, and Phoenix. While the crew called themselves family the only blood familial ties were Tone and Phoenix. This however did not make the bond that they had with one another any weaker. If anything they were all strongly loyal and loved one another greatly. While they were a family in every sense of the word, everyone else around them was fair game and they ruled the streets with a murderous intent like none other I've read before. While in most cases such as this one would root for their demise or at the very least to see them get what they truly deserved. This however is where the genius of Ms. A'Zayler's writing skills seem to swoop in and take over. Instead of pulling against the so-called bad guys she humanized them for us to the point that we wanted to see everything work out in their favor. There were numerous twists and turns. One moment I was looking at my kindle sideways like WHAT and the next I had nothing but anguish and emotion in my heart for the sad outcome for some of the characters. As I stated before this is indeed a very different type of story than what I'm used to from Ms. A'Zayler but definitely worth the read!!! Good Job!!!

Spoilers.......Talking about deceitful, man. The Zoo Crew messed up when they introduced new people to their crew. Never trust and believe in coincidences, & question everything. Like why would Ollie be in the right place at the right time to help Phoenix? or Why all of a sudden would Kara all of a sudden screw Tone after hating him for so long? or Ollie's ex just happen to pop up out of nowhere? Ollie was a huge surprise. I didn't expect him to be deceitful until after the arrest. He was wrong for taking Phoenix's virginity knowing he was working undercover. I understand he wanted to gain her trust, but taking her virginity should have been off the table. Eating her out every night would have netted him the same results. In the end Tone played all of their asses by setting up Frank and Ollie.

This was a good read, but it wasn't my favorite by the author. I took me some time to get into it. There was a few errors but nothing that I couldn't get over. There were a lot of secrets and deceitful things that went on. This book lets you know people are not as loyal as they seem. A lot of people are looking out for themselves. Trust will get you killed and love gets you hurt.

Deceitful heart
This book had me glue to my indie from the very first page. I really did think that Ollie and phoenix was going to be together but was I wrong. It some twist that I didn't see coming. Azayler has a way with word that draw you in and have you wanting more. Definitely a great standalone.

Let me just say this. If you looking for a book that full of drama, suspense, funny, have u emotional, in shock, all that. This book is for you. I mean I was so into this book that I didn't want it to end. I love this author's work. Great job!

Wow
Wonderful!!! In the beginning I didn't think I could stomach this book because of the graphic imagery. However, Wonderfully written and all my questions were answered. No cliffhangers and characters throughout. Tone was ruthless but calculating and smart.

I love this
A'zayler you did that. I loved myself some Tone I'm mad he died, I just knew Ollie was that nigga but he turned out to be a snake. I want Zino in another series I think Fe and him will make a great couple. I love Bears loyalty. I'm mad Trek died as well.
