Beasts Volume 2 is a collection of short horror stories by various authors. Many of the stories centre around a world in the future where humans are no longer at the top of the food chain. There are some standout works such as Nemesis which shows the fight of the wolf against hunters which I sympathized with being a life long vegetarian and animal lover. I also enjoyed several of the stories where the animals outwit the humans, but the gory spider story and the jungle story made me cringe! Thanks to the publisher for my hardback copy of this book. I won this book through Goodreads Giveaways.

Wow!

Unlike anything I've ever read. Full of intrigue and magical narrative I was sucked into all the stories. I lionize everyone who worked on this. Highly recommended.
