Finding the perfect place for a honeymoon, away from any potential danger or mystery, is challenging. But Gabby’s longtime love and newly minted husband, Riley Thomas, has done it. He has found a location with a nonexistent crime rate, a mostly retired population, and plenty of opportunities for relaxation in the warm sun.

Within minutes of the newlyweds’ arrival, a convoy of vehicles descends on a nearby house, and their honeymoon oasis is destroyed like a sandcastle in a storm. Despite Gabby’s and Riley’s determination to keep to themselves, trouble comes knocking at their door—literally—when a neighbor is abducted from the beach directly outside their rental.

Will Gabby and Riley be swept away with each other during their honeymoon . . . or will a tide of danger and mayhem pull them under?

Christy Barritt is an author, freelance writer and speaker who lives in Virginia. She’s married to her Prince Charming, a man who thinks she’s hilarious—but only when she’s not trying to be. Christy’s a self-proclaimed klutz, an avid music lover who’s known for spontaneously bursting into song, and a road trip aficionado. She’s only won one contest in her life—and her prize was kissing a pig (okay, okay… actually she did win the Daphne du Maurier Award for Excellence in Suspense and Mystery also). Her current claim to fame is showing off her mother, who looks just like former First Lady Barbara Bush
When she’s not working or spending time with her family, she enjoys singing, playing the guitar, and exploring small, unsuspecting towns where people have no idea how accident prone she is.

Finally

Gabby and Riley are finally married and on their honeymoon but is it going to be uneventful. Trouble and mystery seems to be attracted to Gabby no matter what. I loved it that the newlyweds worked together as a team to solve the mystery of the missing woman.

A great honeymoon adventure

I love all the Gabby books. I like that her and Rylie are married now. And of course their honeymoon would be filled with mystery and an adventure. Wouldn't expect anything less. Can't wait to start the next book.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book because Gabby and Riley are married. As uasal, even though they are on their honeymoon, they become intertwined with a kidnapping. I love the way riley and Gabby work together to help the police chief solve the case. Great, quick read!

Cute story

A honeymoon complete with mystery, romance, and reality television is one to remember. This novellas continues the Gabby & Riley series. Any of these books can be read as a stand-alone, but the series is worth the read.

Not surprised that Gabby ended up in another mystery on her honey moon with Riley. The suspense was great as usual.

SWEPT AWAY is a honeymoon novella set around the excitement of Gabby and Riley's lives--is it even possible they'll be able to enjoy a romantic vacation for two without trouble finding them? Not likely. Gabby tried very hard to be good and stay out of the mystery, but with an intruder, then being framed for the disappearance, and the police even thinking they did it when the "owner" said no one was supposed to be at his vacation home, what could they do but jump "on-board" and figure out who is really behind it, despite the threat on their own lives? I couldn't stop reading SWEPT AWAY. I'm not sure where this is in the series collection (11.5, I think) but it doesn't matter. Even though the two main characters remain the same, and they are always written in Gabby's point of view, the mysteries in most of the books stand alone and are not connected in any way. If you like cozy mysteries and novellas then you will love SWEPT AWAY.

What could go wrong on a honeymoon on the beach? Well apparently a lot if you're Gabby St. Clair and new husband Riley Thomas. With a reality show for dating setting up right next door, there is trouble afoot. Gabby and Riley just want to spend time away from the hustle and bother of their every day life, but trouble always finds them. This is a novella, so it wasn't that long to read, but I really enjoyed it. I loved hanging out with Gabby and seeing her for the first time as a married woman. It made all their past struggles slip away. The mystery was original and unpredictable. I didn't know who the bad person was until Gabby figured it out. I had a hard time putting the book down. Thanks, Christy Barritt for another great mystery!

I received a complimentary copy of Swept Away from Christy Barritt and the opinions stated are all my own.

What could possibly go wrong? Riley has planned the perfect escape for their long-awaited honeymoon, and Gabby is determined to focus only on Riley and not get involved in any escapades, but alas, it is not to be! When a TV show is being filmed next door to their rental property, and an abduction takes place, of course Gabby will get involved, because, well, she's Gabby! Will they ever get back to their honeymoon? Is the honeymoon over before it even begins? Will Riley give up and just go home? Film stars, jealous ladies, sun and surf, old boyfriends -- all mixed together to make a much more eventful honeymoon than either one had hoped! Read this fun novella to see whodunit!

I received a free copy of this novella in exchange for a fair review.

Fun Book!

This book in the Squeaky Clean Series is so full of twists and turns.
What was supposed to be a relaxing honeymoon for Gabby and Riley turns into a week full of mystery.
Gabby can't seem to ever be away from a mystery that needs to be solved. Mysteries follow her everywhere and even tho she tried really hard not to get involved it came knocking at her door.
I loved reading this story and following Gabby and Riley as they start out on their newest adventure of married life.
I received this book free from the author so I could give an honest review and I feel you will not be disappointed when you buy this book.

I'll admit I love a good romance and for being a story taking place on a honeymoon, this had almost zero romance. That was disappointing, but the mystery part of the story was enjoyable. Gabby can't stay away from trouble and she and Riley are a great team. This story had the bits of humor common in this series.

This was a quick and easy read. The mystery had some intense moments, but the humor and quick resolution keep it from being a deep and serious read.

This wasn't my favorite in the series. The resolution came a bit too easily and the connection between Gabby and Riley wasn't really used/examined as they solved the mystery.

Gabby and Riley are finally married! They are now trying to enjoy their honeymoon on the beach away from the stress and busyness of home. They just want to enjoy some peace and quiet together, but once again trouble lands on their doorstep. They get pulled into solving the mystery before they can actually really enjoy their honeymoon. Liked that I was not able to figure out who the bad person was until it was revealed. This was an enjoyable addition to the series.

I received this book free in exchange for an honest review.

Gabby and Riley are finally together and married! On their honeymoon, trouble finds them as a neighbor is abducted. Gabby and Riley investigate together to solve this mystery.

I was so thrilled that Gabby and Riley finally got married and was half hoping things would become normal and half hoping that more adventures would come their way to I could read more books in the series. I am so glad Christy Barritt decided to share more with us.

I can't wait for the next installment in this series!

I received this book as a gift in exchange for an honest review.

There's only one problem with Squeaky Clean books: they end...too soon! Twelve books and this series is still going strong. Christy Barritt is a master storyteller with the gift of suspenseful novels you wouldn't be embarrassed for younger friends or your grandmom to read. How much trouble can a honeymooning couple have? You'll have to read and find out in this latest chapter of Gabby and Riley's story.
