I had the best reading intentions for this book.
But they were not enough...
The characters were not sufficiently developed, especially Ari.
He was brusque, tactless and terse. Every time he called the heroine Saaaarah, I only wanted to kick his arse! At every turn, he was treating Sarah as his personal sex toy and she just lived with it!
And Sarah!!! One of the most spineless characters I have ever read! She was a 25 y.o. virgin geek girl who one moment met with Ari and the very next had sex with him in a restroom toilet!!! It totally blew my mind!
The story had a lot of sex scenes, yet Sarah was always dripping wet! 🤯
The revelation in the end was the only thing that piqued my interest.

Trainwreck was the first book in a duet by Nelle L’Amour. It was also my first book by the author.
Ari was a billionaire that lives in Manhattan but owned a company in Philadelphia. He rode the train daily.
Sarah was recently out of college, living in Manhattan and working towards her dream in a toy company. She rode the train frequently to visit her sick mother in Philadelphia.
Ari and Sarah were in two entirely separate worlds. They would never intersect except to randomly meet on the train. Their chemistry was instant. Ari had tons of baggage which the author gradually unraveled. He was dominant and used to getting his way. He was also very stand-offish and in a way clinical or unemotional.
As a duet, there was a twist and a cliff hanger. The twist itself wasn’t unexpected, but how it plays out in book two is up in the air.
All in all, it was well written and intriguing. I’m not a huge fan of the characters and secondary characters, so the story was what kept me interested to this point. Now off to Trainwreck 2....

Both Sarah and Ari epitomize the definition of a trainwreck, but their reasons for being completely unhinged drastically differ. Sarah's struggles revolve solely around her need for money in order to care for her cancer stricken mother while Ari's upheaval stems from the actions of others and the mental and physical trauma that he and those closest to him have suffered due to those people's mistreatment.
Despite their contrasting lives, Sarah and Ari form a connection from one sensual encounter on a train, and while Ari treats Sarah, at times, as nothing more than a toy...a sexual plaything, Sarah can't help but be seduced by the blond, blue-eyed Adonis, even if it means following his rules and feeling used far more than feeling cherished.
I have to admit...I had a hard time with Sarah and Ari's choices at the beginning of the story and how Sarah allowed herself to be treated by him. I completely get Ari's hesitancy and fear of commitment, but that doesn't mean he has the right to handle things the way he does. I wanted to throttle him on more than one occasion as well as shake Sarah into seeing how unhealthy her new "relationship" with Ari is. Sarah has enough to deal with when it comes to her job and her mother, so to willingly give herself to a man who treats her more like something than someone didn't sit right with me.
But because readers are given Ari's point of view, I was able to understand how truly damaged he is, which helped put things in perspective a bit more and then witnessing his interaction with Ben allowed me to see the gentler side of Ari and the reasons behind his abrupt behavior.
With the cliffhanger at the end of book 1, it will be interesting to see how Sarah and Ari move forward and what others' interference will do to any chance they have of building anything beyond a sexual relationship.

OMG OMG OMG DID I JUST READ WHAT I THINK I DID? The ending just blew me away and yet wondering so much. I can't wrap my brain around it just yet... Give me a minute....
This book is super crazy! You have Sarah, who is a simple girl,trying to make it in the big world. She has friends who help her along the way. She meets her adonis on the train and that starts this crazy ride. Ari, is a complexed man. He is beyond gorgeous but has commitment issues. He's afraid to love cause of the ex and all her issues. Anyway, he swoons Sarah but soon finds himself feeling more. She has broke thru some walls with him. I do love how he draws out her name and calls her "my princess". I have two characters that I hate...One is Ari's sister Gwen.. I get that she's overprotective especially with what happened before but she's nothing more than a bitch. The other is Sarah's boss, Catherine. That woman shouldn't have her job, Sarah is the mastermind and doing all the work while her boss is out eating fancy food and getting her nails/hair done. I really hate both of these women! I can't wait to see how this all plays out in book 2! My mind is blown completely!

Holy crap, what an ending!!!!
Omg, Catherine is Cassandra! I thought she was paid to stay away?! When will Ari, grow a pair?! Poor Sarah, so fragile, Catherine/Cassandra is going to eat her alive. I cannot believe how Ari, allow his twin sister to boss him around. Between her and his ex-wife, he and Sarah does not stand a chance. They're both too weak. They need to grow a pair and stop these crazy add women from bullying them. That ending was priceless😮

I absolutely floved this book, it was one of those that once you start you just can't put down. Ms. L'Amour always leaves you hanging and begging for more!
Ari is a man who has issues and is afraid to love again. His psycho ex-wife has really left a sour taste on this man and due to that, he doesn't want to get close to another woman for fear that they would hurt him and/or his son again.
Sarah is a woman who is struggling to make ends meet, goes to see her sick mother when she can and has landed a super cool job at a toy store as an Executive Assistant. She leads a non-existant life and is pretty happy with that, until Ari comes barreling into her life.
Sarah and Ari meet at the train station and their first encounter happened so fast that it left me with my head spinning because from that first moment they meet, their relationship just takes off immediately. There is no shame in having sex with someone your first time meeting, and boy these two really didn't waste any time lol!
Sarah and Ari become relatively close and he even takes her to meet his family and his son. He doesn't know what possesses him to do such a thing especially when he has no intentions of ever having a serious relationship with her or any woman for that matter, and this has left Sarah confused because he courts her as much as he can but yet has made it clear that he doesn't plan on getting serious.
Sarah has insecurity issues and can't fathom why a hot, single billionaire like Ari would find her remotely attractive. She can't believe he would set his eyes on her of all people. But Ari is starting to fall for this woman.
The actions that are taken at the end of this book has left me with my mouth literally open. I wasn't expecting the ending we got and this is what I mean about Ms. L'Amour leaving us begging for me at the end of her books!
This is definitely one Trainwreck you don't want to miss out on!!

OMG!!!! Now this is a book you don't want to miss! At first, I thought it might have been the typical billionaire romance, but guess what! Not even close! You may want to buckle yourself into your seat for this one, and be prepared for the ride of your life, because Ari is about to rock your world in many ways and Sarah is along for the bumpy ride, hoping she won't come out of it too damaged. I'm not even sure that words could even begin to explain the roller coaster that becomes the life of Ari and Sarah. There are so many emotions running high, that you tentatively turn each page, not sure what you are expecting, but knowing that whatever it was, chances are it doesn't even compare. Ari was badly burned by his ex and has a commitment phobia since, always putting his six year old son before his own needs. After watching Sarah from afar for numerous months at the train station, he finally gets to meet her when she embarks on the train to Penn Station, and wanders through the executive car, literally falling into his lap. Sarah has seen Ari a few times before, but knows that the Golden God is so far out of her league that she would never stand a chance. Sarah has so much going on in her life right now, with her mom in the hospital taking cancer treatments, and wondering how she's ever going to pay for them, she doesn't have time to think about the Adonis God anyway. When he orders her to sit in the seat beside him, she obeys. When she gets up to go to the bathroom, unknown to her, he follows. So much heat going on between these two, you almost need a fire extinguisher. Be prepared...this is part one of a two part series and it definitely ends in a cliff hanger. You won't want to miss this one. Can't wait for part two.

Sweet baby Jesus!! My ovaries want to thank this author for creating the Golden God, that is Ari Golden himself. Why, oh why, can’t I meet someone like Ari on a train? Le sigh…..oops, sorry, I spaced out there for a second.
Sarah Greene’s life doesn’t need any more complications. Struggling to keep her head above water financially to cover her mother’s life-saving medical bills. Then add ‘The Boss from Hell’ to the mix! She has little time to see her friends let alone date. However, a steamy sexual encounter on a train changes Sarah’s life forever.
Ari Golden doesn’t do relationships. His sole focus is to raise his son. He’s been hurt before, and bears the emotional and physical scars as a result. Women are only good for scratching an itch when he gets the urge. He didn’t bank on becoming captivated with the beauty who crosses his path at the train station. Or the resulting sizzling tryst aboard the train.
Ari had Sarah’s head spinning and I wanted to throttle Ari at times in this book, but with the story told in dual POV you get to understand his mind set. He truly is damaged and with good reason. However, Sarah begins to heal him without him realising it:
“…I felt her in my bloodstream awakening my heart.”
The smexy scenes were hell on my lady bits. Seriously!! The Golden God really has some moves.
There is more to this story though, than mere romance. Ghosts from the past reappear and the author builds the suspense right to an ending which literally had me screaming at my kindle for Book Two.

Is it just a chance encounter? Fate? Destiny? Or just pure luck? Those are the questions Ari asks when he views Sarah from the VIP area in the train station. Ari can't believe that his luck is finally changing when Sarah literally falls into his lap on the train. Maybe his fate is changing for the better.
Sarah is embarrassed when falling into Ari's lap. What a way to meet a person, especially one who is so dang handsome. Sarah feels overwhelmed by Ari's sexiness, but is drawn to him. Her life is currently filled with concern for her mom, her witch of a boss (who can't do anything for herself) and trying to keep her head above water with the bills.
The heat Ari and Sarah generate together can cause a person get a sunburn. But, Ari does hold back because of what his ex wife did to him and his son. He wants Sarah to bend to his will, but will this destroy Sarah? Sarah is still trying to discover what she wants in life.
This come to a screeching halt when Ari's ex wife show back up and threatens everything he has done to protect his and his son's life. Can he drag Sarah into this mess or will have the strength to let her go?
I enjoyed reading Ari's view of the story. A deeper look into what motivates Ari and also the love he has for Ben, his son, his mom, his sister and finally Sarah. Ari has to find a new way to deal with everything and also bring Sarah into his life.

Not great but pretty close!
This the first book I've read by Nelle L'Amour and I will read the second part of this story.
While it was a pretty decent book....it had humor, hot sexy alpha-ish male and hot sex scenes I can't get over her writing style. There aren't grammar mistakes which is a big plus but the way her book is worded at times is just odd to me. The constant reminder of the way he'd say her name....during some of the sex scenes certain terms or ways that things were described were just weird.
And, to be truthful I'm not sure if I even like the actual characters. I do not care for his sister at all, the H can come across as a jerk at times and the h is a little rude at times.
I guessed the cliffhanger pretty much from the beginning and kind of wished it went in another direction but since it's only been a week from start to finish of this book that's not to be expected. I also think it's odd she never told him she'd been a virgin that first time.
I wouldn't recommend this book but I wouldn't not recommend it if you know what I mean! Hoping book 2 is better!

The tittle tells you so much about this book.. The first thing i can tell you things happens really fast, there's no in-between when something goes wrong is very wrong ,when life is good is extremely good that is something that I noticed about this characters is that they go from one extreme to another not always in a good way but that didn't take away from the story it was sexy funny at times and frustrating as well, one thing Arthur no what how to do it's an amazing ending to leave you guessing on what's going to happen next. but the good news is that we have the next book available can jump in right away.Im really looking forward to continue this adventure by train

Sarah is a virgin. She is on her way home from seeing her mother who is in the hospital for cancer. When she's in the train station she sees a gorgeous man. When she gets on her train she's looking for a seat. While she's looking the train moves and she is pushed into a man's lap. When she looks up its her trainman. He offers her a seat next to him. He introduces himself as Ari. Excusing her self she runs to the bathroom. When she goes in her trainman follows her into the bathroom and they make out and more. When they get back to their seats he ignores her so she falls asleep. When she gets home she has a package delivered to her house it's from Ari. He wants a date. While they are on their date he tells her he doesn't do commitment and he will never sleep over. When she finds out why, she falls harder for Ari. Can Ari get past his rules and let Ari in? Need to read. Fell in love with this book.

I'm stupefied!
I read the mixed reviews and was reluctant to start this book. First, it's not rape if it's consensual. Second, there ARE too many sex scenes. Third, it is a cliffhanger. I almost quit reading after the first chapter because it was ridiculously not believable. A billionaire riding a commuter train and a twenty five year old virgin meeting for the first time and having sex in the bathroom of the commuter train and he didn't figure out that she was a virgin was really out of the realm of believable. Outrageously ridiculous really. I must be a gluten for outrageous and ridiculous because I'm glad I kept reading.

Kind of cheese
I just couldn’t connect with Ari or Sarah. She was kind of a bumbling girl and all he really wanted was sex with no strings. I didn’t get how she could be falling for him when he constantly was giving her the brush off and she would just fall right back into bed with him. She didn’t make him work for it at all. I don’t see what he saw in her either. She’s a little geeky, doesn’t say much either. He’s always trying to change her style which bugged me.
The inner monologues were so cheesy. And always having Sarah spelled Saarah the way Ari said it was super distracting. I won’t be reading the next book.

What an enjoyable read! Let's ride trains more often.

Who knew meeting a stranger on a train could turn your world topsy turvy. When Sarah saw him her fantasies went haywire. When Ari first saw Sarah it was like he was frozen like a statue. Then she fell in his lap. From there his fantasy came true, boy did they ever. Sarah was flabbergasted. And this is just the beginning. But to what end?

Sarah wants to design toys, but she works for the boss from hell. Her mother is in the hospital dying of cancer in Philadelphia. She goes there every Friday to see her, and that is how she meets Ari. Ari is a Billionaire who lives in New York City, but commutes to Philadelphia to run the family business. When Sarah and Ari get together it is an exciting romance with drama, sex, and Nelle L’Amour’s signature evil b*tch. The chemistry is so electrifying that it could charge your reading device. The pacing is fast. There's a cliffhanger ending, but don’t worry book 2 is only a click away. I love Sarah and Ari. These characters grow as they learn to trust in one another.

It was a chance encounter on a train - Sarah was rushing to make her way to her mother's side who was sick and Ari was casually making his way home when he first saw her and couldn't forget how she looked. I once thought I had read the majority of novels based of life events and seen what they were about but Nelle L'Amour's Trainwreck was just as though I was there - I became Sarah right from the start and lived vicariously through her experiences, that's just how amazing the writing style truly was. It was my first experience reading one of Nelle L'Amour novels and it was one story that kept me enthralled from the very beginning - even though Ari was the type of man I'd describe as over confident and to a certain extent, arrogant. Never once did he even stop and ask himself if Sarah was with someone or if she was remotely interested in pursuing their relationship, and yet, I've also seen a man realize that the woman he met at the train station just might be the one who could complete him, even be the one to stand by his side. As for Sarah, she's the type of woman who no matter how tired or over worked she is, she'll do all she can can to help her mother during her sickness and even work at a job that she'd compare her boss to the devil's right hand, but through this woman, I still saw one that she longed for passion and a man string enough to be able to support and stand by her side through thick and thin. Even with the cliffhanger that had me chewing my fingernails and ever so grateful that the second part wasn't so far behind to release since I was engrossed in Nelle L'Amour's book to such a degree that I couldn't get enough knowing that it was based on life events, made it that much more realistic and even more heart racing to watch the relationship grow and strengthen, even the plot twists had me in turmoil trying to figure out how best to react to the ever surmounting challenges Sarah and Ari had to go through. To say that I enjoyed Trainwreck would be an understatement - I loved it!

Suspenseful and funny, this is by far Nelle L'Amour's brilliant masterpiece. According to the description, this is based on a true life event. One can only envision how this all worked out in true life.
Sarah is a loving character, full of all the inadequacies we all feel as we deal with daily life for the first time on our own. With her mother diagnosed with Cancer, Sarah is left as the responsible party to cover all the bills in excess of insurance. With a job that barely pays for her to stay alive with a roof over her head, we can all imagine the pressure she is under.
Meeting Ari Golden is the pinnacle of her young life. Their first encounter on the train is epic and will stay on my mind forever. No one but our author could possibly come up with this kind of scenario! And to think this is based on real life!!! I am dying to know more!
This is a courtship and love affair that almost did not happen. The past will not stay there... in the PAST, and lives are at stake. No one writes evil, vindictive characters like this author. You will not be able to put this book down. I had to read this book in one sitting. I could not get enough of these characters.
I previously read the original series of Seduced by the Park Avenue Billionaire. This re-written, re-vamped version is a million times better. We now get Ari's POV, extra scenes, and the benefit of an author that has perfected her art at word-smithing.

Wow!!! My first Nelle L'Amour read and it was amazing could not put it down!!! It's an edge of your seat kind of book. You will laugh, cry, & swoon!!! Awesome read!!! Did I mention it's smoking hot as well!! Can't wait to get Book 2!!! Grab this and Part 2 June 2nd.!!!

Holy Hotness!! This book has a little bit of everything for you. Love, Lust, Laughter, Angst, and some seriously Sexy scenes. I have always been a fan of Nelle's characters, and Ari is quickly rising to the top spot. This woman can make you feel like you are in the book with the characters and I'm completely ok with falling down that rabbit hole with them. Get ready for a ride on the crazy train.
Meet Ari ~ a freaking Adonis that is scrumptious. But not only does he have good looks, this man has the kindest heart. Being a single dad could do that to you. But, his troubled past has made him put up a brick wall, and for all the right reasons. (Not saying anything else on that matter) I think his soul is lost, and hopefully a special someone can help him get it back....

She's a college grad that has a dream of making toys for children. Trying to work her way to the top at one of the elite Toy companies, but her boss is a freaking beauch... I recieved this book as a ARC for my honest review. Wow wow wow! This book was fantastic! I forced myself not to read it in a day because it was so damn good! I didn't want it to end! I hate that I'm done reading it, it's such a page turner you don't want to stop. Ari and Saarah ;) meet on a train. They are complete opposites , him a Park Ave Billionaire her a struggling 25 yr old. So hard not to spoil this book! Flat out she was meant to be on that train for a reason. He needed her and deep down she needed him. She got him to feel again. He has a connection to her like he never has had with anyone else. He is a divorced single Dad with an evil ex-wife that really messed him up, so he has deep trust issues. When meeting Sarah he's drawn to her , he can't stop thinking about her, wants to be with her. They have great chemistry together and amazing sexual chemistry . Swoon worthy chemistry ! OMG I want an Ari in my life, and to think the Author was blessed to live this experience with such a beautiful man. Lucky her:) I highly recommend this book. You won't regret it , it's simply a must read. Thank you Nelle for your wonderful writings .
