Rock I care about three things. My brothers. My club. And Ellison. I’d go to war for all three of those things. I’d die for them. Bleed for them. Kill for them. Forced to fight for all three of them I have to make a choice … Ellison or me.
Ellison My best friend. My f#@k buddy. My everything. Through the good, bad, and ugly, Rock is all I’ve got. There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for him. Nothing. Backed into a corner I do what I do best … I fight through it.
Reader. Writer. Crazy person. Lover of all things home décor and the color black.
Jaci lives on the coast in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her lovely, but crazy family. If she's not reading or writing you can find her wandering the isles of a home store or hanging out with her monster son.
She's the author of The Hell's Disciples MC series and The Sick and Twisted Love series.
This is book 5 in the Hell's Disciples series. It's the second book for the Oregon Chapter. I absolutely loved it! I couldn't put it down, just like with all the previous books.
I love that Rock and Ellison have grown up together, and have been friends for over 20 years. Now, they are in a friends with benefits type of relationship. Ellison wanted more awhile ago, now she is too scared for more. But Rock is ready to make her his, for good. But when you have Ellison's brother in a rival club and strung out, trying to take down the Hell's Disciples, you know shit will hit the fan. And boy does it.
I love how El would stand up for herself to Rock, she didn't back down, unless she knew what he was saying would keep her safe.
Rock is a huge softy to El. He was sweet. Don't get me wrong, he's an alpha, so he is a jerk too, but you can see how much he loves her.
"I know I don't say it a whole fuck of a lot, but I love you, and there's no way in hell I'm sharin' you. That includes anyone lookin', touchin' or talkin."
Love Rocky, I did get frustrated with the book and the back and forth between the two. Rocky is definitely and alpha and I felt there should have been more hooking up throughout.
An ok read but nothing that pulled me in like some of her other books. I just couldn't feel the real connection between the H/h. Two people who grew up together through some rough times and for 20 years have maintained a f*** buddy relationship with the H always being there to protect/take care of the h. Neither one wanting to commit. Would really feel better if this one had been available on Kindle Unlimited.
Another brilliant book in the series. Jaci J has done it again. She manages to pull you into the story from the first page. This is Rock and Ellisons story. There's love there but El has commitment issues. Rock loves her and wants her for his old lady but indecision and fear of being tied down hold El back.
This is book 5 in the Hell's Disciples MC series and it is freakin awesome !! Bad ass bikers and lots of kickass action. A great series and a must read . Looking forward to more of this series.
chose this rating as i love the whole series, the relationship' s between the hard hot headed guys and the tough sexy woman. Plenty of sass, sex and turmoil along with a great story line. I love happy endings. The ending was quick and, I would of liked more of an ending but still must be good as I'm on book 6 next in this series. It was nice they grew up together and had each other's backs throughout their lives. The book flicks between past and present. Truthfully even though I did love this book, it wasn't the best in the series, but it was still great. The Mc chapters are from different counties so other characters turn up in this book which I particularly liked. Looking forward to book 6
Rocky is the Sgt of arm's for the MC. El is his on again off again crazy girl. He's known her 20 years but they can't get to a place where they both want a relationship at the same time. When things start going fishy with the MC and two other rivals can they find one another?.
Rock and Ellison started out as friends when they were kids but now they're grown-up and the friendship becomes much more. Rock is your typical alpha-male, hardcore and overprotective. Ellison holds her own with him. I enjoyed this instalment.
Wasn’t my favourite but was still a good MC story. Rock fits the profile of a hardcore biker as we know them from books. Rough, tough, handsome and gruff! Ellison is just as stubborn as can be but crazy in love with Rock as he is for her.
A pretty good storyline. Could have been a little more in-depth with Rock's character. Still with the grammar errors but that doesn't mean it's a bad book.
Rock and Ellison have known each other for over 20 years but both refused to acknowledge their love for each other. There was a lot of too and froing as they fought their feelings.
I love this book actually that's wrong I love this series. I did something I have never done.... I reread the whole series in anticipation of Riot. That's a first for me I've never read a book twice.
This book didn't disappoint I loved the characters and can't wait of Jaci J's next offering. So if you haven't discovered the wonderful world of the Devils Disciples you don't know what your missing.
Rock and Ellison have a history going back twenty years. They have been there for each other through it all and always will be. Ellison was ready for more years ago but Rock wasn't. Now that he has caught up to Ellison does she still want the same or is she too afraid to ruin what they have to take a chance on more?
With Ellison who is a stubborn, naive, impulsive, immature pain in the fucking ass?
Neither because both characters got me sick they were so fucking stupid and let's not forget pathetic....two asshats in total denial until of course some life threatening event occurs then they open their eyes..sighs!
You can never go wrong win you pick up a book by Jack J. Her story's are Phenomenal. The characters are so believable in the story there telling. That I can't put it down until I'm done. Rocky and Ellison are ADORABLE. Love them. Can't wait for the next installment.
Love this series! Amazing MC Romance! Couldn't put it down. Love the friends to soulmates story line. Ellison is sassy and stubborn. Rock is all alpha and bad ass hot. Can't wait for more books in this series. I recommend this series to everyone.
This was my least favorite book of the series. I love ROCK but lost a little respect for letting El treat him the way she did. Shared hard childhood history and betrayal by her brother, still did not justify her actions. Trying to protect her, in every case she defied him and ended up in trouble where ROCK would have to save her ass. Yet she never learned. El was very immature and weak. Jaci writing was as good as it always is and I still love this series.
Jaci J. does it again! She has the ability to grab you from the very first page and keeps you in her grip until you've read the last page and even then you are begging for more. With unique characters that tie into the previous books in the Hell's Disciples MC series and a well thought out and smooth flowing story line, you won't be able to put the book down.
I volunteered to review an advanced readers copy of this book.
Devoured this book in a day absolutely loved it...for a moment I thought it was not going to have a HEA Rocky and El needed their heads banging together but what an amazing couple they were
