This review is for all four books of this series

This series was funny, heartwarming, and little unexpected. It's about the Turner familly (Camille, Tyler, Tim and Dora) and their friend, Beth. Amidst a lot of laughter and some inappropriate moments (thanks Dora), there's so much love. The author did her readers a favor by providing love stories injected with plenty of humor. My favorite people? Tim and Dora. Their novella was absolutely hilarious! They were definitely the ties that bind and provided me with plenty of feel-good moments. This was perfect for anyone looking for a good time.

I'm really sad because this is the last book in this series D:
I can't believe it...Andie M. Long made me an addicted I need more Balls...

This story is slightly different from the others in the series, there are funny moments but here you can feel a stronger plot that makes this novella even more enjoyable.

I've loved these characters since the beginning but the hot Daddy stole my heart in the end.

So another funny book again in the series though it can be read as a standalone. This one is based on Beth and it was nice to hear her story. Of course Dora is up to mischief and with the boy like a minus, well the laughs are just throughout

Book Four in the ball games series focuses on Beth. A character slotted into the other stories who we have already grown to love. Beth is a good friend, and single mother. Her baby daddy always kept quiet but with "Project Beth" underway between the group of friends we all know well, no one was prepared for what Kay ahead of her....

Excerpt:
Beth has robbed me of so many firsts I can never get back. How will I ever forgive her? No matter what her intentions were, I just don't know....

Another sweet story full of laughter, tears and forgiveness. These books never fail to impress me and always leave you on a feel good high. Can't wait to read the next in the series 'Jingle Balls'.

My Rating:

4.5

Favorite Quotes:

"I step back in shock. The lovely woman who got me to come here has been replaced by a Rottweiler. I swear there's foam in her mouth."

"She nods, but when she turns to me, it's with a face that would scare Chucky."

My Review:

A quick, short, and highly amusing read that just whets my appetite for more of Ms. Long's special blend of clever humor. I am addicted to her style and storyline and must know what comes next. Hurry Ms. Long - don't keep me hanging!

This story was much more angsty than the others. Loved the characters, as I did in the previous novellas. Every single one of them held my interest. Andie has managed to give great depth to a short story.

I really loved reading these novellas. They were an ideal feel good read and made me lol a lot! Andie has a great knack of capturing reality and there's so much in these stories to relate to.

Perfect for the beach or a commute, and great British humour at its best.

So I have been reading these in order and so far they have been laugh out loud funny. This book I feel took a slightly different turn. Focusing on Beth, a single parent with a toddler, a blast from her past leaves her shocked. The whole Turner family rally around Beth, occasionally interfering and trying to decide what is best for her. This book is a sweet short read, funny in places, the characters are relatable. This is a great addition to the balls series.

This is a really quick and enjoyable read. There were several laugh at loud moments, mostly provided by Dora.

"She hands me a packet full of chocolate penises. 'Here, you need to remind yourself what you're missing."

Though there were some conflict with the the misunderstanding between Beth and Leo, it was quickly resolved without too much drama involved.

Andie has written an amazing book. This is the fourth one in the Balls series and I enjoyed this one the most. This is all about Beth and her son Trey. Beth is a single mom and has never told anyone who the father of her son is. She has raised Trey all by herself for three things and has done an amazing good. Until the one day life as she knows it changes in an instant. I love how well written this book was and how the subject was covered with love and humor. She did an amazing job writting about what happens between all parties involved. I loved how the added humor in this book makes the storyline even better. Come on chocolate penis how can you not giggle at that? Amazing character chemistry between all the characters.Again all the characters get along so well with each other in every book.I highly recommend this whole series to anyone that will enjoy some great humor and tender moments all involving some "balls"

Sweet second chance story.

I just love this series, and this one doesn't disappoint at all.

Beth has had it rough as a single mom to her son trey these last three years. She left college pregnant, never telling a soul who his father is. After a chance reunion with Leo, she has to completely tear her world apart and tell him about their son. First thing he does is threaten with court. She's never stopped loving him, but that doesn't mean the feelings were ever mutual.

Leo has lost the girl he was falling for, directly followed by a career ending accident. He hasn't seen Beth in more than three years and never expects to again. After finding out about Trey, he's beyond angry, but willing to work with Beth to get time with his son and get to know them both.

I absolutely loved this!! Beth is Cam's friend and a single mum who I have grown so very fond of during the previous few books, and Balls Fore focuses on her love life.

You just know before you even start one of the books in this series that the humour will have you chuckling away, and I really enjoyed the interactions between all the characters as always. In this book we get to meet Leo, who is a blast from Beth's past and I really enjoyed the more serious element to this story. You just know that Dora will be up to her old tricks once again, meddling in everybody’s business, but you just can't help but love her for it.

I thought the author wrote this short story brilliantly, with everything perfectly balanced. My favourite of the series so far!

Single mum Beth has started a chocolate making business, and joins forces with her best friend (Camille's) mum Dora, to make cupcakes and cookies for Camille's big 1st birthday celebrations for her business. Having never told her friends and family who her son's father was, and that he was a looser and didn't want to know, she gets the shock of her life when Dora arranges a surprise celebrity guest in the form of a local Golf celebrity, now pro-golfer at the local golf club. Well he's the one who get the surprise in the form of a child he never knew he had. As they try to get to know each other again as parents they have the joy of Dora trying to do a bit of match-making by recruiting the rest of the family as spies. It's a nice quick read, could have been a bit edgier.

This was one of my favorites in this series! I have been so curious about Beth and Trey and who Trey's father was! Again, this is a short story and we get a glimpse at what happened between Beth and Leo and why he has been out of the picture. Sometimes we make choices that perhaps weren't the best, but with our knowledge at the time, we do the best we can. Beth and Leo need to see if they can move on and have a future together. I loved Leo. The little bit that I got to know him, I completely adored him. Good read!

The forth book of this brilliant romcom is Beth's story. This book is a little bit more serious but as we find out more about Beth we get to see why she is how she is. We get introduced to Leo and we find out that Beth and Leo already know each other. As we get to know Leo you can't help but to fall a little for him. Of course Dora has to matchmake and it was nice to see the Turner clan in support of Beth. Will Beth let her defences down and let Leo in. Will Leo live up to his promises. Will Dora ever stop meddling. Another cracking novella and this series just gets better and better.

I've been so looking forward to reading Beth's book an finding out who Trey's father is.
Yet again this was another HILARIOUS read but, like with the previous books, it did have a semi serious undertone too. In this we find out not just who Trey's dad is but also catch up with the Turner's and see what plotting and shenanigans they're up to, too!
Absolutely loved it!! Definitely the perfect pick me up books to read when you're feeling down!
LOVED IT!

Beth, Trey, Leo, and the whole extended Turner clan kept me laughing from the get-go. This is the way I love to see second chances unfold. Sure, there’s pain and a lot of water under that bridge but both Beth and Leo handle it like the adults they are. I just can’t say I’m a fan of the secret baby angle. I really enjoyed seeing the way Leo came to grips with it, though.

I'm a sucker for stories where there is a damsel in distress, in this case Beth, a single mother that we have met before, has been telling everyone that the baby's father abandoned them. This navies when he suddenly appears back in their life with no idea that he had a child.

Another good story in the Ball Games series. I like that you can feel the love the family has for each other. This one has the most drama of the series but it was a sweet story.

Balls Fore, the fourth installment of The Ball Games Book Series by Andie M. Long, is dedicated to Beth. Beth is a single mom to three year old Trey. She runs a successful business selling chocolates to Kid's Zone which belongs to her best friend Camille. Turmoil enters her life when Trey's father unintentionally reappears and learns he has a son.
The author has brought up stressful life situations in every book of the series so far. She's presented us with bullying, facing the world alone for the first time, the empty nest syndrome, a couple's mid-life crisis and a young mother struggling to raise her child alone. Then we get to witness atonement, forgiveness and love. Those are serious topics which she has laced with humor, if only to show us that people must grow and move forward.

It's Beth turn to find her happy ever after...
She's been Cam's friend forever. As a single mum she feels she has to prove every day that she's able to cope on hwr own& provide Trey with a stable & loving home.
In comes Trey's father who didn't know he had son & Beth told everyone his dad was a loser and not wanting to be in Trey's life .
Incoming Dora and her schemes...
Just as funny and brilliantly written , absolutely love this series..
Andie is a genius!!! Her hilarious writing style gives my muscles a proper workout & just cannot stop laughing!

Beth gave the Turner family the impression that the father of her three-year-old, Trey, didn't hang around after she told him she was pregnant. Beth is wrapped very tight because she is overcompensating for being a single mother. Dora, who has always been like a second mother to Beth decides to work on getting her to loosen up a little and makes this her personal project. When Beth encounters Leo Coleman, she has to reveal to him and the Turners, he is Trey's father. Leo is angry for the years he missed knowing he had a son. Beth is worried that Leo may try and take Trey away from her. Heading into the future, can Beth and Leo find a solution that will work for all of them. Interesting story and a great addition to the Balls series.
