Ingame A world where magic is real. Where being Human just means you are not a Dwarf or an Elf. See a cynical young man who is working towards getting past level one. Add some rich powerful old people trying to take over the Ingame world. Throw in a abandoned haunted orphanage, a mysterious dragon and Gods that cannot be trusted. Add a huge city and young Donators buying their way through the game. Ingame, anything might happen. This story has adult content, please be aware of this.
Lots of typos. Punctuation and grammar need work. For supposedly being such a smart guy, Tor can't seem to connect the fact that him being able to use magic irl means that the game is very real. Im not quite sure what the writer was thinking there. It just doesnt seem logical for him to be so stupid. Proof read please
This book needs a lot of editing. The errors can interrupt the flow of the story. The sex scenes are mostly gratuitous, but not too lengthy. The story itself was rushed at the end and ended abruptly without a compelling cliffhanger. I did enjoy the storyline and I will buy the sequel to see if things have improved.
I liked how this author approached the world they created and greatly enjoyed reading this story. I suggest it to anyone who has wondered where the game ends and life begins.
Poorly written mysoginistic pap, the main character has everything handed to him on a plate and thinks a shallow back story will build rapport. I actually managed to finish the book in order to see if it got any better it didn"t. Thankfully the typo's didn't slow down my ability to finish it in a day the only saving graces were the incredulity at the poor prose, stupid similes and impoverished plot. The sex scenes were written by a prepubescent with a hormonal deffisit.
I wont deny, it could use some editing but only in the talking parts. Sometimes it is kinda difficult to understand but in time you can get used to it. Have read some chapters before release and i am really glad i left it half, so can have a proper reading time. There is some part, which i do not catch (the balls mainly) but still awesome. There is erotic actions in it which i gladly accepted, and am glad it is just in right amount. All time fav.
This book is a good, if fairly standard, example of the LitRPG genre. It is an enjoyable read. Unfortunately, like so many self published books, it is in desperate need of editing. The biggest problem, found constantly through the book, is missing, improper, and mangled quotes. Almost every line of dialogue is improperly quoted.
I read the last 25% of the book just so I could review.
LitRpg books are becoming more common now and most have better fleshed out characters and more compelling challenges. I wanted to like this book but recommend looking elsewhere.
