Marked from birth, King Hesleof Obella has sat on the Dragon Throne ruling the land of Calibran for over two decades. A meeting with Lyrroth, an ancient dragon, brings forth surprising news to the wise king.

Hesleof's ultimate goal of uniting the varied races of Calibran is now altered to keeping the Realm safe from an upcoming threat, potentially more deadly than the dragons of old. Twisted creatures, racial tensions, a disgruntled race of Dragons wanting back the land stolen from them by the mortals, and the emergence of a never before seen power rising from the forbidden Chaos Lands are about to change the face of Calibran forever.

But Hesleof is not alone: the fierce minotaurs of Calibran as well as, Noble elves, wood elves, Dark Elves, dwarves and even Orcs could be allies in dealing with these new threats.

Hesleof will look for answers: can the legendary Noble elf, Almorwen, provide answers to his doubts? IS the Realm really in danger? Does Hesleof needs to no longer just unite the races, but hold them together to survive?

Join Chronicles of Calibran epic fantasy series now! A brand new amazing fantasy world is waiting for you!

I am a family man, first and foremost. I live with my beautiful wife and two dogs in Ohio. A proud father of three amazing children and three wonderful grandchildren, I've been fortunate to have their support in my writing binges (trust me, it means a lot). As for authors, I've been a longtime fan of Arthur C Clarke, Orson Scott Card, Kim Stanley Robinson, Greg Bear, and Tad Williams.

A heavy diet of internet culture centered around science, technology, science-fiction, fantasy, politics, and news of the world keeps my mind flooded with ideas and scenarios to fuel my writing. I hope my interpretation of this ongoing onslaught of stimuli into tales of speculative fiction entertain and engage you. I thank you for reading.

Fantastic book one!

I simply cannot get enough of Calibran. The immense, vicious and fantastical world is extraordinarily fascinating that has just begun.

Like its previous stories, filled with races that we look for in an epic fantasy with more uncommon, interesting ones, The Dragon King is a satisfying epic tale that will leave you craving for more of this vast and magical world.

Dragon King was a pleasure to read. It’s a fantasy-thriller and the first installment of a series. Episode one was all about getting to know the characters, who are they, what are the roles within their respective groups. The Reader gets to know the factions and the various groups of peoples. This is the way the author lays out the premise (s) of the book and therefore the series. (In other words,) The author did a great job using Episode One to let the reader understand his story and the structure of the storyline so that as we the reader move forward each episode will be seamless. It was a good read but a tad too short. Just as I had settled in and felt comfortable that I was keeping up, the book ended. (Note: I received this book in exchange for an honest review) –Tex. I would RECOMMEND the book with 4 stars

After a couple of prequels, it’s nice to get into the first proper episode in the Calibran series. The Dragon King sets the scene nicely for what’s (presumably) to come in subsequent instalments. It gives the reader a feel for the world of Calibran and introduces them to the good guys (like King Hesleof – the Dragon King himself – and his faithful minotaur sidekick, Ruric), the bad guys (including Aeric and his? nightwalkers), and a whole bunch those whose loyalties are yet to be determined.

If I had one small grouch concerning The Dragon King, its that it’s perhaps too short! Thankfully there are already two more Calibran episodes available, so it’s straight on to those...

A quick read that nicely introduces readers to the world of Calibran and the wonderful & complex characters in it. I was thoroughly entertained throughout the read, it didn't drag once. It was an easy read, which helped me follow the plot and the backstories for all the characters, not getting lost along the way. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone who loves fantasy! It wasn't too violent or gory, so I actually read this aloud to my son...after I had read it first myself!!

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. The book hooked me from the start; the worldbuilding is great! Unfortunately, just when you start to get really into the story and start to connect with the characters, the book is over.
I thought about getting the next book, but honestly, the price for only about 60-70 pages per book is way too high!

The author achieved exactly what he wanted to do. This has all the flavor of a well DMed game of AD&D. The characters are interesting and well described. The plot is unique. The action is well described. This is a great start to a new series.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. I loved this short story. For this story to be so short, so many things happened. I was hooked from the first page. Anthony Russo and Alberto Bieri did an amazing job of creating a fantasy world. The world building was spectacular. I felt like I was amid the world the authors described. The character growth was amazing, and I felt as if I knew the characters personally. I'm eagerly waiting for more from these two authors.
