Mark's father, Nolan decides that they need to spend some "quality time" together. They plan a day to patrol the globe together keeping the planet safe; the superhero equivalent of playing catch in the backyard. It doesn't take them long to find an otherworldly menace trying to claim earth as its prize. It's up to Mark and Nolan to defend our planet... luckily for us, this kind of thing is old hat for Nolan, now, if only Mark could stay out of his way. In other news, Mark quit his job at Burger Mart, and his mom makes pork chops for dinner... mmmmm, pork chops.

Robert Kirkman is an American comic book writer best known for his work on The Walking Dead, Invincible for Image Comics, as well as Ultimate X-Men and Marvel Zombies for Marvel Comics. He has also collaborated with Image Comics co-founder Todd McFarlane on the series Haunt. He is one of the five partners of Image Comics, and the only one of the five who was not one of the original co-founders of that publisher.

Robert Kirkman's first comic books were self-published under his own Funk-o-Tron label. Along with childhood friend Tony Moore, Kirkman created Battle Pope which was published in late 2001. Battle Pope ran for over 2 years along with other Funk-o-Tron published books such as InkPunks and Double Take.

In July of 2002, Robert's first work for another company began, with a 4-part SuperPatriot series for Image, along with Battle Pope backup story artist Cory Walker. Robert's creator-owned projects followed shortly thereafter, including Tech Jacket, Invincible and Walking Dead.

I appreciate the willingness of this series to spend almost an entire issue on nothing more than casual character development- nothing deep or grand. Just characters chilling.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I still have no clue when or if this series is gonna amount to much... thus far everything is perfectly fine. Too fine in fact. You ever get that suspicious feeling a series isn't telling you everything? That it's possibly got greatness up its sleeve but it ain't saying anything yet? That's the vibe I got. Now please Invincible, prove me right!

Few Students are missing from Mark's school and also there are some powerful bomb blasts around the city and father and son fight some aliens.

I have always loved comics, and I hope that I will always love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics or Diamond Comics or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on the international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I can. I Love comics to the bits, may the comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.

Invincible #3 – Teen Team Up
Mark joins Atom Eve and the Teen Team in their crimefighting efforts. We get deeper insight into other young heroes, introducing team dynamics, romantic tension, and a broader view of the superhero world. While still upbeat, this issue begins to show hints of complexity and foreshadowing in character interactions.

We finally get a bit more development in regards to Mark's character.
And he does actually have a friend.

I know this series eventually gets really dark, so the "easygoing superhero gigs" are deceiving, but I expected to see a lot more about how this situation affects Mark in his everyday life than we're getting.

...And just more about him, his hobbies, who he was before all of this.

I dunno if that's really a bad thing in the long run, but it detracts from the everyman vibe that's simultaneously being presented.

4 estrellas.

La historia hasta ahorita siento que se puso algo lento, siento que hay mucho dialogo explicativo, pero siento que es parte de cuando inicia algo y estás entrando en contexto.

Good

It's getting better and better, I am very intrigued about how the story is going. Getting to know Nolan a little bit better and Mark powers as well.

getting good

Love this series, watched the show first so it’s nostalgic seeing this beginning and loving the artworks. Would recommend to folks who are new to comic books.
