Moving to Atlanta from California is probably the hardest thing that Skai Linfray has ever done. She has to make new friends and new memories, while trying to forget the ones she had in California and be happy with her new life. But, one day four familiar faces reappear in front of her. Along with her best friend, Alayna, and the four boys, Phillip, Davis, Samuel, Ian, Skai goes through the biggest loss she's faced. After the loss, Phillip, Davis, Samuel, Alayna, and Skai go their separate ways. Five years of feeling alone, Skai is reunited with her friends on New Year's Eve of 2016. it's both happy and sad, there are moments where we go through many hoops of connections and reconnections, Skai Linfray learns heartbreak, loss, remembrance, and love.

Skai Jackson believed that moving to Atlanta and leaving her cherished friendships behind would be the hardest thing she faced, little did she know there was an even more burdening event that would cause a tear in her friendships.
As the author, I believe that this book can teach someone friendships last forever, even when you're miles apart and go through a loss that causes the friendship to crumble. Also, Skai is faced with a lot of emotions that she's very indecisive about but she follows her heart all the way through.

Reunions is a small novel that captures the heart of many readers through the character's struggle with friendship and death. This book makes you think about your own friendships and what holds them together, in my opinion. The unfortunate struggle Skai goes through can relate closely to lives of some readers, allowing readers to become easily attached to some characters. All in all, Reunions is a great read that addresses issues that are relatively common today.

Skai is a seventeen-year-old girl forced to move away from her best friends and after many years is reunited with them only to be faced with an emotional loss.
This book is one of those that make you think about how you take your friends for granted. When you move away some of the friendships get lost and you wonder where they would be if you were still with them. All in all, Reunions is a book that is easy to relate to.

This book is about a girl called Skai Linfray, that reunites with her four best friends after leaving California. What makes me love this book is that it's something easy to relate to. I like how Skai and her old friends reunite even after the loss of Ian which gives some life lessons. I would recommend this book to people that can relate to reunions in life.
