The ASIN B01CMW477K has been moved to the latest edition.
Kyle, while diving off the coast of Cocos Island with his girlfriend Jenny, discovers a large cache of treasure, thought to be part of the famous Lost Treasure of Lima. However, his boat is subsequently stolen and Jenny abducted by a Colombian Cartel. Can Kyle put together a team to rescue Jenny and retrieve the treasure? Be part of the adventure as the story initially takes you back to 1820 when the treasure was stolen. Underwater scenes and travels through the lush flora of Cocos Island, as well as the mountains of Colombia, will take you on a journey packed with action and suspense.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book by Christopher Fox. The story is well written with great use of language and colorful descriptions. The historical references bring the story to life and the pacing is excellent throughout. The characters are believable. If you enjoy your thrillers with a historical theme, you will enjoy Lost Loot of Lima.
Not kindle unlimited, don't think any of his books are, but not only got a copy somehow from somewhere on freebie day but also went to do the review on a freebie amazon day {of may be permafree}. Seem to remember that there is to be a sequel to Lost Loot of Lima soonish if I'm correct, so that would be something to look out for. {don't see goodreads spot for Death Drones the sequel to this but only gave it a 3, again too many names and places at least for me}
Not particularly in to the drug cartel things or thriller type things in general, but did enjoy this one with all the historical background, scuba diving, boats, and all that, of course added to mystery, lost treasure and treasure hunters.
