"

At the turn of the twentieth century in a remote farmhouse in Ireland, a young boy mysteriously died. Some years later his foster sister vanished without trace, taking with her a dark and sinister secret. Rosemary McGinty couldn’t see her dead son and foster daughter, but her mother’s intuition convinced her they were still close by. Her instincts had warned her about the secret, which she regretfully ignored in her lifetime.

Rosemary pined daily for her lost children and when she died in 1940 and crossed over, she was shocked and horrified to see that her little ones were still trapped in the old farmhouse.

Now one hundred years later, their story is being told. Rosemary searched frantically to find a way to reach from beyond the grave and connect with Sophie, a modern-day intuitive. Together they would join forces to expose the secret that held the children captive, for only then would their souls be released.

This is the story of a mother’s undying love and the guilt she carried even in death. The courage of her heart extended from the afterlife in her unrelenting quest to bring her children home to her on the other side.

Author Jo Macleod has shaped this fictional tale around her own life experiences.

This is their story, based on the true events of their spirit rescue.

I started the book in July 2010 and finished it in March 2011. We then went through several months of changes and update, deciding on the front and back pages for publishing etc., it was finally released at the end of October 28 2011 to the public.
I have many reviews online at Chapters, Amazon and IUniverse and hope soon that people will buy it as an ebook. I am getting ***** star reviews from those who have taken the time to write a review. I thank everyone who reads this story as it validates the little girl's life over and over every time someone learns about her life. It is presently on sale online via IUniverse and several other online outlets including Amazon and Chapters. It is also available at Morgan Creek branch of Save on Foods in softcopy format, as my first venue to test the water so as to speak. I wish it well on its way.

This book was everything I expected and more. The Author managed to capture the spirit Ireland and the lifestyle of the Irish at that time in history. I was completely drawn in and I felt like I was observing and reliving the past. The author went into great detail about the lack of material goods and the hardships that people of that era endured physically, mentally and spiritually. It’s no wonder that some spirits get confused and “stuck” on earth. I loved the ending and I felt a peace within me when the unsettled spirits of Fin and & Rosie and the many others found their way to “the light” It’s a powerful thing when so many spirits on both sides team together in meditation or prayer to bring about changes. We need to remember that in today’s turbulent times.

This is an excellent book for anyone interested in the history of Ireland and the esoteric science of death and dying. Description of all characters and settings is very well done. It also has an intuitive impact for readers already acquainted with spirit rescues. It deserves a good read!
