Clara Andrews #7

Clara in America

Rate this book
“If I were a two-year-old boy, what would I want for my birthday?”

With Clara struggling to find the perfect present for her baby boy’s second birthday, she is pleasantly surprised when her crazy mother-in-law, Janie, sends them tickets to Orlando.

After a horrendous flight, a mix-up at the airport and a let-down with the weather, Clara begins to question her decision to fly out to America.

Despite the initial setbacks, the excitement of Orlando gets a hold of them and the Morgans start to enjoy the fabulous Sunshine State.

Too busy having fun in the Florida sun, Clara tries to ignore the nagging feeling that something isn't quite right.

Does Janie’s impromptu act of kindness have a hidden agenda?

Just as things start to look up, Janie drops a bombshell that none of them saw coming.

Can Clara stop Janie from making a huge mistake, or has Oliver’s audacious mother finally gone too far?

Join Clara as she gets swept up in a world of fast food, sunshine and roller-coasters.

With Janie refusing to play by the rules, it looks like the Morgans are in for a bumpy ride…

OMG!!!!!!!

Lacey London has our done herself on this book. I had my mind made up to what this book could be about, I was so wrong.
Janie sends Noah a birthday gift of a holiday to Florida, but Janie being Janie there has to be a reason behind it.

Just when you thought Janie couldn't get any worse she goes and out does herself in this book. She lands herself in a wee bit of trouble, you cannot help but smile and shake your head at her antics. This books shows a different side to Oliver and Janie which is good.
Beware of the twist at the end, it really did make me smile.

Another fantastic book by Lacey, this series has just gotten better and better and I eagerly look forward to the next instalment.

I think this book is by far the most intriguing and intense real-to-life scenarios that i have ever read in this series. I mean, i was actually a but nervous reading this book especially near the end part. I somehow felt the migraine that Clara felt while dealing with all the thunderstorms that came to her and to her family. It was so real and could literally take all of your energy away. I'd definitely recommend this book! A must read.

Happy reading, bookworms!!!! :)

Just when you thought "monster-in-law" couldn't get any worse she goes and surpasses herself.

From the drama to the tantrums Clara's thoughts and Janie's antics always make me giggle.
