I was excited to be reading some MC's again and got a little excited going on a one click binge and this was one of my purchases. Unfortunately it reminded me why I stopped reading random MC's. There are so many mediocre ones out there, it's like mining for gold trying to find an epic one but when you do they are amazing reads. I think thats why I get so pissed when they end up being duds because I can see their potential and know how good they could have been.

With this one the plot was good but what problems it had were to huge to fob off. Some of the characters were great and others were annoying and eye roll inducing.

I think if you're going to have trouble writing from a male POV then you would be better writing it just from the female POV. One of my biggest peeves in any genre is reading a males POV and thinking "There is no way a guy would think that or say that". The Hero in an MC book is meant to be a big tough alpha and even if he is a good honest man he would still speak and think like tough guy IMO, it can ruin a whole book.

So I enjoyed parts while some parts just pissed me off!!!

As it stands I'm not sure if I'll continue the series, I will maybe come back to it as I have been reading some reviews that said the series gets better.

How much I hated this. Let me numbers the ways...

1. detailed description of H getting a blowjob from a club whore
2. this line by the H: “I’ve been known to get some side pussy from time to time."
3. contact with crazy ex-wife whom he still fucks
4. h is still hung up on him even though he fucks around

No rating. Got to 45% and can't do any more.

I loved Minton's Renegades series so had high hopes for this, instead I'm frustrated and disappointed, this is in a different league to the Renegades, and not in a good way.

I'm not a fan of 1st person unless it's done well, in this case it wasn't. Boz's voice came across like that of a kid and he's an idiot. She's a spoiled biker chick speshul snowflake princess. On that note, I'm out.

I got bored.

Once again I feel the need to mention OW (or the unicorn OM) are NOT a deal breaker for me.

HOWEVER...I need my h to feel special and have the H think of her as such. This H still reminisces about how good his ex-wife's pussy is...which he still samples whenever he wants :/

THAT is a no-no for me.

He also handles his club like a rank amateur. Even his ex gets away with saying and doing some unbelievable shit.

And Crank...yeah, only an idiot wouldn't have seen that shit coming from the get-go. The fact the H had the h abducted before taking a look at Crank...(*shakes head*)...just unfuckingbelievable.

The writing wasn't the greatest and the dialogue made my brain hurt from all the eye-rolls. And, no surprise, the h is a total wet-panty, TSTL kinda girl. She does handle the club-hos really well tho.

But, really, the deal breaker for me was the dealing in prostitution. I can handle selling drugs, running guns, outright thievery or other illegal activities...but illegal prostitution run by an MC is some bad shit no matter how you want to pretend otherwise and...I just can't. I've only forgiven it of one H (Knight - KA) and I haven't met another I could do it for since.

Though I think an untapped plot is the male owner of an escort agency falling for one of his girls ;)

SG Ladies
OW BJ before H/h reunion, ex-wife drama (H occasionally fucks her, tho not during book), h almost loses v-card at 18 to H, at 22 she loses it 3 weeks before seeing H again (OM is not important to her), pathetic OM/h sex scene (not v-card scene), even tho the H is a manho, he is loyal the minute the h walks back into his life.

---
Jewels uttered by the H:

"I really don’t have any room to judge; I’ve been known to get some side pussy from time to time."

"Even after the divorce, I’ve never turned down her pussy. It was just too damn good to pass up."

“I don’t tolerate disrespect from anyone, especially in my own damn clubhouse. If you keep that shit up, you’ll wish I let Crank take you to his room.” -- THIS is after Crank touched the h and promised to rape her during the abduction...he eventually tries to rape her for realz.

Boz is the prez of the Grim Bastards and Trix is the daughter of Satan's Revenge MC’s prez. Both clubs have a tentative alliance until Boz’s father is shot whilst attending a party at the other compound though it was deserved it also kind of severed ties and then served to stall a potential new romance from developing before it had even begun. Now four years later Trix now attending college finds herself along with her best friend Addy kidnapped to use as collateral. A shipment of arms has gone missing and Boz wrongly believes the Satan's revenge is responsible. Now back with the man that Trix has never forgotten it’s not long before the old attraction between the two takes hold and they both can't help to succumb to the heat sizzling between them.

I found this an enjoyable and well written it struck just the right balance between the action relating to the MC and the romance itself. The relationship between Boz and Trix was quite instalove once they again reacquaint but I felt it sort of fit especially considering their shared background so it didn’t bother me.

The romance with this one felt quite sweet whilst the sex still felt dirty and hot. Boz is the sort of man that can be a stone cold killer if needed but is also a complete marshmallow for his girl. As for Trix well growing up in the MC lifestyle means that she already is aware of club rules and she’s your typical biker brat. This had heat drama betrayal action some dark scenarios but the romance itself is not dark. Overall I enjoyed this and I’m intrigued enough to carry on with the series.

Ok what can I say that is nice?

Hum........ I liked the dog in the story, I liked it when Trix's dad punched Boz and the storyline started out good I was interested but then.....this is way to hard I can't think of anything good.

Where to start: ok let's start with Trix:
1. You made me bang my head in frustration
2. The hero kidnaps you to use against your dad and all you can think about is having sex with him.
3. One of his "brothers" punches you when you get kidnapped, but you love him and don't blame him for anything.
4. One of his "brothers" beats on you and almost rapes you, but you aren't upset at him, don't blame him, and have sex with him right after.
5. He jumps to conclusions and locks you up in the room again, but you give him more sex and aren't upset on the least.

How STUPID can you be?!?!

Ok now let's talk about Boz:
1. Total ass
2. Has sex with his ex-wife even though she is a skank and betrayed him.
3. Uses Trix for his own gains to get over on her her dad, but pledges his love for her.

I am sick of stupidity! Arghhhhhh!

But you all may like it tons of readers did. I guess I am just a picky bitch about stuff.

I've been following author Emily Minton's works for a while and just L-O-V-E-D her Renegade Sons MC series. I've always loved my badass alpha men~~ to which I feel Grim Bastards MC does a exemplary job~~ but I've always admired more female leads that can hold their own and who have backbone. I hate doorstep heroines which I feel you get neither for both Boz and Trix.

Dirty Bastard falls into themes of love, violence, trust, brotherhood, and making a pledge of loyalty and sticking to your choice.

Boz and Trix have a lot on their plates. Boz is the president of the Grim Bastards MC and is in a sticky situation that their rivaling MC, the Satan's Revenge, might have been stealing right under their noses. So what does he do to get even? He steals the SR MC boss' daughter. Dun dun dun!

But Trix isn't just any girl to Boz. She's the untouchable.
But what happens when the untouchable has always wanted you as well?
Will love truly transcend over family bonds and loyalty?
And will bitter feuds be resolved between these two up and up MCs?

A sizzling and thrilling MC read!! I certainly can't wait to see where this series goes next!!

4.0 DIRTY STARS!!!
He was my childhood crush, and my feelings only grew as the years passed. Every time I caught a glimpse of him visiting the club, my infatuation with him skyrocketed. Somewhere along the way, my feelings became more real. They were no longer just a fascination with his looks, his cut, or his ink. Instead, they became an all-out obsession for the man.

Okay, so bear with me guys. I soooo damn rooting for this book!!!I mean this is my first book of this author but seriously you can't blame me. I was instantly hooked the moment I read the blurb. For fucks sake This is MC story and knowing books with this plot...uh...uh... I admit it's one of my guilty pleasures in reading. It's raw, it's gritty, it's dirty and full of alphamale hotness that will make your panties melt and leave you with a female version of blue balls just how I like! ;)

How dirty do you want it?

Dirty Bastard is the first book of Grim Bastard MC Series that follows the story of Trix Slade, a biker chick with an edge and Boz Creed,a bastard with a soul. The blurb of this book pretty gives a great foundation of the story but more than that I was instantly hooked the moment I started reading it. The way it was started was already captivating, it's a mixture of MC world in a party then blended with the cuteness of this little girl and a biker that will made you keep on turning the pages yet made you want it not to end. Right there, in their conversation...with their interaction I was lost in their story.

You know it’s time to go when the best part of your night was talking to a thirteen-year-old girl.

So moving on several years later, the chemistry of these two is so strong it's undeniable. There started my fanning moments...I mean wow...I just like the pacing and the straightforwardness of it. The leads did not hold back. That moment beside the creek just got me...it's damn hot....it's scorching I thought my panties melt.
"Fuck, darlin’, you’re gonna have to quit doing that. I can feel the heat coming off of that sweet little pussy everytime you move. My dick is already so damn hard, it’s about to bust out of my pants.”

And then....for all of those holy I just got a female version of blue balls! I thought it will be a start of something new...wth???

Then all hell break lose, they met again but at a different circumstance..Boz kidnapped Trix and this just started that moment were the story got more edge...a little angst...swooning..betrayal moments but above all that MC brand that made you high and wanted to scream "make me come Oh! For fuck's sake!"
Many nights, I would run the batteries dead in my vibrator, all while thinking of those ink-covered fingers sliding in and out of me.

But...Can love between two rival clubs survive without someone taking the ultimate fall?
Okay, so to top it all I like this story. It was definitely good and I truly enjoyed reading it. I wasn't bored. It's not my usual MC read but the story was written well. Lines after lines just flowed flawlessly. I was intrigued and curious and I can't keep my hands from turning the pages. It was smoking hot. There are swoony moments..scenes that will make warm your heart...playful and alpha sexiness moments... And seriously, there's this scene I want you guys to definitely read instead of me giving spoilers. MY heart was definitely broken because of it like it was shattered into pieces and I just wanted to smack someone. It actually hit a sore spot on me. It maybe a different scenario but the pain I felt is almost the same I actually paused reading because I sobbed and remember something almost similar.

So, moving on...this is a good read. The author delivered a beautiful story that made you wanting for more. I for instance will keep stalking this author when the next release will be because I just really can't wait. Good job!

~ 5 Boz and Trix Stars ~

Wow!!! This book was everything I expect when I read a MC novel. This truly had everything. We got a gritty and raw story that also had some sweet and honest emotion behind it.

Dirty Bastard is the first in a series written by Emily Minton and Shelley Springfield. I have read other Emily Minton books and I have to say I am never disappointed. Shelley Springfield is a new author to me, but I am glad that she paired up with Emily, because these two ladies know how to write a darn good story :)

This book was a mix of a second chance love story and a forbidden love story all wrapped around the life of a motorcycle club. I loved that we got the true aspect of what a life in a MC club is like. It isn’t all roses and happy endings. I thought the pace and flow of the story and the authors writing styles was flawless. Everything moved at the right speed and I couldn’t tell you which author wrote which part. I loved that this story is told in dual POV. I always think it’s great being in both characters heads. I know I am looking forward to reading the rest of the books in this series.

In this book we meet Boz and Trix. Boz is a member of the Grim Bastards MC club and Trix is the daughter of the President of Satan’s Revenge MC club. These two characters meet for the first time when Triz was only 14 and Boz was 22. There was an instant connection but obviously Boz knew it was wrong on so many levels. Meeting again once Trix is 18, her and Boz decide to see where things might go between them. Even though they are from two different clubs, they have a growing attraction to each other….that is until Tragedy hits Boz’s club and things completely change. Boz is now the President of the Grim Bastards and Trix is off at college. Boz is trying to get things back on the right track since taking over as president, but when something goes wrong with a shipment….he is desperate and decides to kidnap Trix. Can these two rekindle what they once had?? Can two people from feuding clubs actually make things work?? You’ll need to read this book to find out.

Trust me….you want to read this book. I thought Boz and Trix were fantastic characters. Boz was your typical hard-a$$ biker guy, but also had a heart of gold underneath and I totally felt the love he had for Trix. And Trix….she was one bada$$ biker chic, but she was still just as soft on the inside as anyone not in the life. I truly thought these two made a great couple. The authors were able to make the readers feel everything the characters felt while reading this book. I know I felt fear, anger, love, swooning, and loyalty. I also loved Addy and Brew. They are the characters for the next book and I thought the set up for the second book was amazing!! I can’t wait to read their story.

If you are a fan of the MC genre, then I think you should read this book. I think it had everything a fan of this type book wants in a story. This is definitely one I know I will read again in the future.

I love it when I get an ARC from one of my favorite authors. Thank You Emily! You're awesome!
------------------
The book starts with the first meeting between the heroes. He already married and growing his power within his club and she only a teenage girl belonging to the other Club and daughter of the President.
The years pass and he becomes the President of the Club and someone is trying to F*@# with his club. Our heroine is in college and he is already divorced.
Who and why someone is trying to harm his club, that is the question? Who are the traitors and how he's going to take care of the whole mess.
He ends up kidnapping heroin and her best friend, and using her as a bargaining chip with the club that is supposedly trying to harm his club. She is the daughter of the President of the rival Club.
The story is very well written and holds the reader's attention with action, intrigue, whores causing trouble, romance and the search for traitors. Hot, very hot sex cenes!
The secondary characters are interesting and make the universe created by the author so much more interesting.
The heroine's father and the mother of the hero are a pair that promises, because they are both widowed and longtime friends.
Heroin's friend is also very interesting and her story promises.
The members of the Club has very special contribution in this book because they are presented to the reader for the first time and only the author knows what the future holds for them.
Loyalties will be tested and lives changed with the events.
I highly recommend and I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

==>My highlights<==

"Boz.  My eyes automatically seek him out. The moment he comes into sight, my heart skips.   I’ve had a crush on this man since we first met."

“Do you think it happened so fast because I had such a crush on you when I was a kid? I really did masturbate to you all the time.”

“Are you gonna fuck me now?” I shake my head and run a hand through her beautiful blond hair. “No, Trix. I’m gonna make love to you instead.”

"I love your cunt, darlin’. Fucking love it.”

“Nowhere near as much as I love your dick.”

“Your cock is the best medicine in the world.”

“I’ve always had a dream of getting fucked in the back seat of my baby.”

“Loyalty to the Bastards, one and all. We fight together, starve together, bleed together, and fall together. I am privileged, for I am a Grim Bastard, until the day I die.”

“Are you ready to go home?” Finally looking at my father, I shake my head. “I’m already home.”

Yep, should have started with this one. It was interesting to learn that both books run concurrent with each other. In this one, we know what is going down each time the Grim Brothers leave there woman.

Among some of my favorites. Outstanding literary work. The characters are well developed, interesting. The liked characters are likable and the hated are unlikable. The writing is captivating enough to keep you interested until the end and leave you wanting more. It has a fairly original or uniquely well-developed plot. The pretense and romance was well balanced and done with properly distributed amounts of hints, behaviors and chemistry. Not so much predictable if at all. Overall, loved it, I recommend reading!!

hmm where to start the main hero was a complete idiot i mean seriously dude the plan sucked and when he was having doubts and was somewhat figuring out the truth he still continue with the plan I mean really REALLY??

Also this guy is the president of a motorcycle club and his members talked down to him his ex was a complete bitch to him she actually walked out on him while hes trying to lay down the law she scream he will regret it and this pussy does nothing!!

Over all the story got stupid real fast the premise made no sense since there was no real reason for the heroine to actually be kept in the club and the dude really was a complete idiot

I should have known just from the prologue this book wasn’t for me. In the prologue Boz (22 years old) and Trix (14 years old) meet for the first time. It was a short and insignificant. Then it skips ahead 4 years. Apparently they had some but not much interaction in the duration, but they were really interested in each other. It was instalove, and it all happened in the damn prologue. It still took a while for them to sort shit out between them. The tension of a build up to their relationship wasn’t there. It all happened too fast. Boz was an idiot when it came to running his club, and Trix was feisty but gave into Boz way too easily. I read this for mindless, entertainment but was bored and unimpressed.

This was a good book, it was easy to get into. The plot flowed smoothly. It had a lot of good aspects, steamy sex scenes and lots of yummy bikers.

The Chemistry between Trix and Boz was pretty good, my only issue was that I thought Trix gave into Boz a little to quickly. I thought she should of put up more of a fight, but it all worked out well in the end.

Overall great biker book, great read. I enjoyed that it started out when Trix and Boz were younger and progressed to show how they met and how their relationship developed. Or in this case towards the beginning, came to a screeching halt for a while.

Be ready for one hell of a ride with the Grim Bastards because that’s exactly what you will get with Boz and Trix. Since this is a biker book the ride will include a dirty, hot alpha male with all kinds of power both in and out of bed, we also have a woman who is no stranger to the biker world since her dad, Hoss, is President of Satan’s Revenge MC. Their connection was first felt when Boz would accompany his dad, who President of the Grim Bastards, to some Satan’s Revenge parties. One little problem at that time was that Trix was not even fourteen yet, even if she looked eighteen, and there was no way that Boz was going after jailbait. He tried to give her a piece of advice and that was to get that sweet little ass home before something bad could happen to her since some bikers had no problem with jailbait. It’s during this meeting that Boz has the first look at the feistiness that this little girl has. So now we fast forward a few years to when Trix is now eighteen and the Revenge MC is throwing her a going away party since she is heading off to college when she finally gets to see the guy that she has fantasized about all during her teen years. She feels that this is the time to give her v-card up and she is more than willing to give it up to Boz. Well now, who is Boz to turn down this little offer since Trix is now legal and a whole lot of crazy ass woman he still remembers a connection with. Only one little problem with this is that Boz gets called away last second because his dad is shot and killed at the party so Boz has to load him up to take him back to the Grim Bastards.

A few years later and Boz is now President of the Grim Bastards and Trix is about to graduate from college. They will have a meeting again but this time because Boz has ordered to have Trix kidnapped. There was a gun deal gone bad and Boz thinks it is Hoss and his Revenge boys that made this happen so what better way to get back at Hoss is to take his daughter hostage until his guns are returned. Since both Boz and Trix still have the hots for each other things at the Bastards clubhouse gets pretty crazy but who could blame Trix…I wouldn’t mind being “kidnapped” by Boz either.

So does this little plan of Boz’s work and will he get his gun shipment back and be able to give Trix back when all is said and done or for that matter is Trix going to go back to her dad willingly or have their past feelings finally been acted upon which would throw a whole new curve to this plan? Just who really did take that shipment; was it do to a rival club or to Bastards gone bad? Be ready for some off charts chemistry between Boz and Trix which can only have you hope that it will be lasting. This book also had some seriously touching moments which still did not take away what a biker book is all about. It had you laughing out loud sometimes and crying at others with giving you a “what the hell just happened” moment where you had to reread just to make sure you got it right. This is an excellent biker read and has me following a new author and waiting for the next Bastard to take front and center with another book in this series.

This book was provided as an ARC from the author for an honest review.

Josie's Review 4.5 STARS

I became a fan of Emily Minton’s ever since I read Renegade Lady. When I think of an MC read my mind immediately goes to Emily’s Renegade Sons and Savage Outlaw’s. This author knows how to write a good MC book. One that is filled with the dirty, gritty, sexy, badass and dark side that I come to expect and love. Dirty Bastard exceeded my expectations. Trix and Boz’ story took me on such a ride and I loved every minute of it.

The description to this book is spot on and once I started reading it I could not stop. Just as the titles suggests, Boz is a bastard and the President of the Grim Bastard MC, and Trix is the Princess of the Satan’s Revenge MC. I will admit the start to this story reminded me of a book I read in the past. Boz first meets a 14 year old Trix for the first time. Years later the two meet again and Boz and Trix have an undeniable and intense connection.

“You just want someone to fu*k?”

“It’s not, I want you under me, over me, and any other way I can get you. But, I also want to see where this leads, see if the reality of you is nearly as sweet as I think it will be.”

After being gifted with not one but two Prologues, I wanted more and more of this couple. Things do not go as well as Trix and Box planned. Boz’s father is murdered and things between the two are over way before they get started (and I mean they are about to do the DEED!). Fast forward 8 years and once again Boz and Trix come face to face again, but this time under harsher circumstances. This is where the story gets grittier, edgier and steamier.

I loved that Trix is not a little quiet mouse. She is after all a MC Princess, she knows her role in an MC. She respects Boz’ position of authority but I really loved that she does not make things easy for the man. Boz knows he has a job to do trying to find out who betrayed his club but he also has a need to lay claim to Trix while she is being held by his MC.

I loved reading how they fortified their relationship while dealing with betrayal, secrets, a protective father, jealously and a sick brother hell bent on getting Trix. There were so many swoon worthy moments within the story. Boz melted my panties more times that I can count in this read. The story and plot are so well paced and so well developed as were the main characters and side characters. The words and characters had me emotionally invested and I cannot wait to get my hands of the next book in the series.

I personally love when in a MC book the Hero and Heroine come together but are from different clubs, I think it give an added edge, seeing how two different club that sometimes have different views on things come together and work through all the obstacles that are in the way. Dirty Bastard doesn’t disappoint either, Trix and Boz are explosive with their sexual chemistry and the reason why they are together only adds to the TNT that surrounds their relationship. If you haven’t guessed their relationship at times isn’t all unicorns and rainbows, more like dirty bikers and sassy female with a side of sarcasm. There is violence, fights, some very hot sex, and I loved every bit of it.

I am excited about this series, and I really want to read Addy and Brew’s book because I have a feeling that Addy is so much more than we are lead to believe she is in Dirty Bastard. I also want to see more of the rest of the Grim Bastards; I have a feeling that we are going to be in for a wild ride when it comes to these bikers.

Hmmmmm I loved Emily Minton's Renegade series and was excited to start this one BUT Boz and Trix's story left me very disappointed:(

Ughhhhh....I HATE feeling like this especially when I have thoroughly enjoyed this author's previous books. I was left feeling VERY conflicted.

Between the details we get of the club whore's BJ and his inner thoughts on her and other women INCLUDING his EX, the revelation of Cherry....now that whole relationship left me wondering WTF????? I was more confused on how this book started, where the direction was going with he and Trix and then how it got lost????? UGHHHHHHH.....I am speechless right now and not in a good way.

I was however intrigued with the next story on Addy and Brew SO if it goes on sale cause I won;t chance the full price ebook BUT if it goes on sale I will plan to give this series another go!

This was so boring. The H and h meet when they are 13/22 nothing happens but they both think the other are hot. They meet again at 18/27 and almost have sex but are interrupted by something that causes a rift between their clubs. I don’t mind age gaps, my own husband is almost a decade older than me, but I met him as an adult. I don’t like these barely teen meetings followed by hooking up after they get legal. (3rd book recently) It feels sort of gross. A lot changes physically between 13 and 18 in what a grown man would/should find sexy. IMHO🤷‍♀️

Anyways, the first chapter FFW a few years later with Boz kidnapping Trix because he thinks her dad’s club stole a gun shipment and the rest goes like this.

Trix asking why he kidnapped her while lusting after his body. Boz telling her because her dad took something from him while lusting after her body. Her friend shaking and crying because she got kidnapped too. His ex-wife Cherry slinking in occasionally, with him questioning why she was sneaking into his office, and her saying I’m not going to tell you. All while it’s SO OBVIOUS who really took the damn guns shipment. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

I also skipped to the end and saw that it has the only hard limit I have when it comes to reading fiction, so I’m glad I skipped it.

HE MEETS TRIX AT HER DAD'S CLUB AND FROM THE START YOU CAN FEEL THE CONNECTION THESE TWO SHARE. ONCE SHE BECOMES LEGAL, ALL BETS ARE OFF, AND HE'S READY TO MAKE HIS MOVE ON HER. THINGS ARE MOVING ALONG, BUT THEY ARE INTERRUPTED BY TRADEGY AT THE PARTY WHERE THE TWO CLUBS ARE COMBINED. AND NOTHING GETS SETTLED. YEARS GO BY....AND WITH BOZ NOW THE PREZ OF THE CLUB, HE HAS TURNED THINGS AROUND, BUT THEY STILL DON'T RUN EVERYTHING ON THE UP AND UP.....AND WHEN A SHIPMENT COMES UP MISSING, AND TRIX DADS CLUB IS BLAMED, THE ONLY THING BOZ COMES UP WITH IS TO TAKE FROM HER FROM HER DAD UNTIL HE GETS BACK HIS PROPERTY. THE SAME FEELINGS ARE THERE FOR TRIX AS WELL....BUT HOW CAN SHE FORGIVE HIM FOR KIDNAPPING HER, AND ALONG WITH HER BEST FRIEND ADDY. TRIX ISN'T AS SAFE IN HIS CLUBHOUSE AS BOZ THINKS EITHER.
THIS BOOK HAD ME GUESSING AT EACH PAGE I TURNED. AND HAD PLENTY OF OMG MOMENTS, AND HAD ME IN TEARS AT TIMES. THIS BOOK WILL GIVE YOU THE FEELS TOO. AND THE AMAZING SEX SCENES AND CHEMISTRY, WELL DONE LADIES!!!! LOVED IT. ALL THE PASSION YOU COULD FEEL WHILE READING. I LOVED THE ACTION IN THE STORY TOO ALONG WITH THE VIOLENCE.
LAUGHED WHEN WE GOT THE LITTLE STORY ABOUT THE SAVAGE OUTLAW POOL GAME TOO!
I COULD PICK OUT SO MANY THINGS FROM THIS BOOK BUT 2 PASSAGES STRUCK ME......

I can’t pass up the temptation of taking one of her nipples in my mouth. When I let it loose, she rolls toward me and asks, “Are you gonna fuck me now?” I shake my head and run a hand through her beautiful blond hair. “No, Trix. I’m gonna make love to you instead.”

and...
until Dad says, “Are you ready to go home?” Finally looking at my father, I shake my head. “I’m already home.”

BRILLIANT BOOK!!!!
AND SET UP FOR BOOK TWO PERFECTLY!!!!

DEFINITELY MORE THAN 5 STAR READ BUT THAT'S ALL I'M ALLOWED TO GIVE :)

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Trix was born and raised into the life of a MC. Her dad is the President of Satan's Revenge MC and he is super protective of his baby girl. Use to the MC life and all it entails at thirteen she meets Boz from the rival MC Grim Bastards and immediately has a huge crush on him Fast forward till she's eighteen and she and Boz meet again but this time he's determined to make her his woman. That is until there interrupted. In her final year of college and getting ready for finals before graduation Trix lets her roommate and best friend talk her into going shopping. Who knew a trip to the mall would end up with them being kidnapped by the Grim Bastards. But why? How is she going to get out of this mess and keep Addy safe at the same time? What will happen when she sees Boz again for the first time in years?

Boz is now President of the Grim Bastards and he's got a huge problem that needs a solution now. Someone has stolen something important from his MC and the info points to Satan's Revenge MC being behind it. Knowing the most important person to Hoss, President of Satan's Revenge is his daughter Trix a plan is devised to kidnap her but let her go as soon as the Bastards get back what's been stolen from them. Boz has changed since becoming President, he's harder and doesn't need a old lady. Je"s got all kinds of women falling at his feet. All that changes the second he sees Trix again. She's tough and fiesty and is having none of this kidnapped business. Can these two ever find a way to have what they want most in the world......each other.

I loved this story. Some of my favorite books to read are MC reads. This story has everything you look for in a good MC read. Danger, excitement, lust, strong women, tougher men, and lost of surprises. I loved this story from the first moment and devoured every single word, Trix is a super strong female character and knows better than anyone how to handle herself in the MC world. She stands up for herself and takes no bull off anyone. Then theres the whole crush on Boz since she was thirteen. Boz is hardened and changed by the time Trix sees him again but one thing that's not changed is how much he still wants Trix. Boz is tough and alpha and has a mouth in hi hat will, have you swooning at times. Packed full of action and kindle melting moments Diety Bastard is a MC book you do not want to miss.

Emily Minton and Shelley Stringfield have done an amazing job writing this book. I can not wait to get my hands on the next book Filthy Bastard.

AAAAHHHHH!!!! I know a little inappropriate to start out my review screaming like a mad woman, but I seriously can’t help it because I LOVED THIS BOOK SO HARD! Emily and Shelley both really out did themselves with this book. I fell hard for Boz and when I say hard, I mean he literally stole my heart and swept me off my feet leaving me breathless! I am asking… NO begging him to please keep my heart safe and never return it. I have a new book boyfriend and his name is Boz freaking Creed!

I absolutely adore the way Boz and Trix met. It was completely innocent because she was so much younger than him, but he still felt the connection with her. At the time, Boz didn’t know what that connection meant, but he was soon in for a treat when it came to Trix. At eighteen, everything was perfect until it wasn’t. Now it’s a few years later and Trix is just want he needs. It’s not in the way Boz hoped for or is it?

Trix has adored Boz since the first time she met him all those years ago. Her crush has never gone away not when she was thirteen, not when she was eighteen, and definitely not a few years later where she finds herself face to face with the man who has had her heart for years. She needs to be pissed at Boz for kidnapping her and holding her for something she has nothing to do with… yeah right tell that to her racing heart.

Boz and Trix are so perfect together. I love how alpha he is, but also super sweet at the same time. I love how feisty Trix is and doesn’t back down from anyone. Of course kidnapping is what brought them together, but everything is not always as it appears. There are corrupt people everywhere and no one is safe. This story sucked me in from the get go and I couldn’t put it down. It’s funny at times; sad at times (one part I bawled like a baby), and of course it’s H O T!!! Boz and Trix are my new favs and I can’t wait for book 2. Amazing job Emily and Shelley!

Club business is about to get serious and unfortunately Boz crosses a line when he takes it to a personal level. A rival club has taken something of his that will cause his club a world of pain so he returns the favour by taking the only thing he knows will strike at the heart of the other club - their princess, the Prez's daughter, Trix.

Second chances are rare and often come along when you least expect it. Trix has never given up her childhood crush, after meeting the handsome biker with Hold Fast tattooed on his knuckles her heart has belonged to him. From rival clubs their attraction has always been forbidden. As the years pass and Boz becomes Prez of his own club he still lusts after the daughter of another club. Knowing their union would cause nothing but heart ache for the club Boz decides a collateral damage is worth the risk. Can Boz hold his club together and win over the woman he has kidnapped? Can he hold her to random when he really has no intention of ever letting her go?

Dirty Bastard is a great MC read, it ticks all the right boxes with double dealings, brotherhood and tested loyalties. It has club whores trying to stake a claim and all the usual drama you would expect from a MC read. It has the grit, violence and darkness everyone associates with this genre. It's well written and although slow to start once it gets going it's at full throttle. I liked Boz but he's a little too rough round the edges spanking her bottom immediately after she's experienced an ordeal at the hands of a brother so ultimately his fault she's traumatised. I understand the life is harsh but I still like my biker to take care of his woman. Again I liked Trix but being a biker brat princess she had the gumption and the mouth but couldn't back it up. I wished she was a little more fierce and didn't need a man to keep saving her. That said I still really enjoyed this story and I openly wept at the sad scenes of loss. That part of the story stood out for me and really made this an emotional read for me.

A four star bad ass biker read.

Dirty Bastard
Emily Minton and Shelley Springfield
4.5 stars

So we have a great mix here with these two ladies. Emily Minton is a gem at writing MC books and this one is no different.

We meet our two lead characters when Trix Slade is 14 years old and the daughter of the President (Hoss) of the Satan’s Revenge MC . Boz, is twenty two and watching his father, the President of the Grimm Bastards, throw them into a tailspin with his antics. The two clubs are holding steady with their alliance but Boz has his doubts. Trix and Boz have a chance encounter with Boz being concerned about the young girl around the drunken antics of two clubs.

Next we flash forward to Trix’s 18th bday party at her Dads MC. Boz is there and ready to claim the woman he has watched grow up. Finally he is going to get what he wants until a turn of events takes him away from everything he has wanted.

Flash forward a few years and here we go! Boz is now the president of the Grimm Bastards and has a shipment of guns missing. His man Crank says he saw a Satans Revenge cut and the only way to find answers from Hoss is to take his heart. Game on ….

This is a really great read. There is some incidents in basements as you have In MC stories but nothing over the top in description. I absolutely LOVED the banter between Boz and Trix. I found the events to be for the most part light hearted but the story line kept me turning the pages. I wanted to know who, where and what … and holy smokes it’s a shocker.

There is no cliffhanger and you will love the secondary characters. I will say dear lord my heart was broken at the loss of a character … never never never .. nope .. in fact that is why its not a five star read. You hit me where it hurt Emily! Im very excited to read Filthy Bastards coming in June. Next up Brew!

I cant wait to read about every single brother in the MC and continue revisiting the others. What an amazing start to a fantastic series!

Thank you for the ARC – Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets.

"Can love between two rival clubs survive without someone taking the ultimate fall?"

Boz, president to the Grim Bastards MC is finally able to breathe now that things are settled from the damage his father caused while he was in power. However, a shipment has gone missing and it is up to him and his brothers to find it. His club brother Crank, says the Satan's Revenge stole the shipment from him. Boz just cannot understand why they would do that when things are resolved between these two rival clubs. Not wanting to lose face Boz must get the shipment back and to do that he has to take what is most precious to Hoss, Satan's President. He decides to kidnap Hoss's daughter, Trix. Boz has always wanted her but things always got in the way and even though it is unconventional, now will be his time to finally take what he feels is rightfully his.
Even though Trix has always crushed on Boz, she is beyond livid that he kidnapped not only her, but her friend Addy. She must be calm to figure out how to escape. However, spending more and more time with Boz and his brothers, she realizes what she can have with him. She must choose between the love of her father or the man that has captured her heart.

Dirty Bastard is the 1st in an all new MC series by Emily Minton and Shelley Springfield and I really enjoyed it. It had me from the get go and now that it is over I need the next ones like yesterday!
I thought that the story line and characters has some good depth, very versatile. You couldnt help but fall for these characters. I laughed, got angry, swooned, cried. Lord, just all the feels!

I cant wait for more from this duo!

So... let's start with the cover on this one. Um, hello? Can you say yummy? I seriously love the cover on this one. It's absolutely perfect, a lot of book covers, especially romances, are gaudy, cluttered, or not very representative of the actual story. This one is none of those. The model's not quite what I pictured when I thought of Boz, but he's pretty close and I adore the splash of color on the otherwise black and white image.

MC (motorcycle club, for the uninitiated) Romances are very hit or miss for me--there's no middle ground. The last ones I tried to read were very miss, so I'm ecstatic that this one was a hit! It was an almost perfect balance of love life meets club life. I especially like that they don't try to romanticize that lifestyle. A lot of authors do and that completely baffles me. I know people who are part of that lifestyle, hell, I dated the son of one of them, and there's nothing romantic about it. So, they get tons of points for that.

The authors did a phenomenal job jumping back and forth from Boz's to Trix's points of view. Jumping p.o.v. can feel really disjointed and confusing, but they made it flow from one to the other really well. As characters, I love them both. I'm pretty sure Trix just made my list of all-time favorite female leads. And it's a very short list, not just any female character meets my expectations. Boz was everything I expect from my alpha males without all of the "I'm God's gift to women" cockiness that I can't stand. And oh my goodness, some of the things that come out of his mouth are absolutely panty melting!

Definitely an amazing book from a couple of amazing authors. I can't wait to read the next book in the series, Filthy Bastard releasing next month!

Holy Biker HEAVEN! PHEW! This book. So many feels. Need a second to catch my breath.

Okay..
I think I can do this now. As a fan of Minton’s, I gravitated toward this new collaboration with Springfield. Minton knows how to write the perfect biker and this new series just showcases her talent even more.

Boz and Trix’s story is really unlike any other that I have read in quite some time. Boz is as hardcore as they come, but Trix stepped away from the biker world to make a name for herself. Sure, she’s just as tough as her MC President farther, but there’s a softness to her that I just couldn’t put my finger on until Boz rode back in her life. Their story is filled with hate, love, hatef**ks, and finally peace. These two unmovable forces butt heads, but crumble under the pressure of their attraction towards each other. Their chemistry is off the charts hot and would likely scorch a new temperature world record.

This is the kind of book that all MC lovers will enjoy. The grit is there, but so is the love, loyalty, and just plain fun. The chaos of the biker world shines brightly through the dust from their bikes. You’ll want to hop on the back of Boz’s bike yourself when you turn the last page just to spend more time with him.
