What's It Like

Rate this book
Shane Lewis has never been a fan of dealing with the overly emotional situations life always presented.
For one she had been through enough to show her that she was better off making sure she took care of herself and didn’t depend on anyone else. Throughout her entire life, she hadn't had any foundation laid that taught her how to deal with any form of emotion that wasn't the pursuit of her own peace of mind so staying away had been her way.

Love, trust, and the belief in the happily ever after had been the major foundation Christian was raised on so naturally, it’s what he decided he wanted in his life. Making that decision hadn’t been the easiest thing to do but there was no turning back. Finding someone who matched and challenged him was the battle he faced.

The question for both Shane and Christian question turned to what’s it like. What’s it like to have life deal you a good hand and not have it snatched away? What’s it like to let go of the past and move happily towards your future? They quickly find that answer in each other.

I'm just out here letting my imagination have some fun. Considering all the things life throws at us, daily imagination is needed.

Music and reading of just about everything have been my go-to for relaxing or escaping reality for as long as I can remember. When I combined the two with a pen. Author Paulette Jones became official.

Come with me through these steamy, dramatic, entertaining journeys that make you believe in the impossible. Thank you again for taking this walk with me. I love the not-exactly-perfect and the endings full of promise. I truly hope you enjoy it.

I have to say this one did not pull me in like the previous books have from this author. Although the content and story where written well I wasn't in love with this the way I loved the other. Still a good read for a rainy day though.

It had so many grammatical errors that I could not continue to read it. I can usually get through those but this book was difficult to even understand. I am disappointed because I was really interested in this story.

This was a goodread. I like this authors style a lot. This one was a few differnt things wrapped up in one and I honestly enjoyed a few parts dragged along for me but it turned out to be a good read so I would recommend.
