The Open Conspiracy: What Are We To Do With Our Lives?

Rate this book
This is a guidebook on world control and management, a program that Wells believed should be orchestrated (and would be successful) through what he called the "Open Conspiracy". This conspiracy is fully outlined in this work and is designed to be run by many separate organizations working together, as opposed to being run by just one group. Is this required reading for the world's most powerful people? Maybe it is. Or maybe it should be. Wells was a visionary and genius whose work should be paid attention to. Chapters include The Idea of the Open Conspiracy, We Have to Clear and Clean Up Our Minds, The Revolution in Education, Religion in the New World, What Mankind Has to Do, Modern Forces Antagonistic to the Open Conspiracy, The Resistances of the Less Industrialized Peoples to the Drive of the Open Conspiracy, The Open Conspiracy Begins as a Movement of Discussion, Explanation and Propaganda, Development of the Activities of the Open Conspiracy, Human Life in the Coming World Community, and more.

Herbert George Wells was born to a working class family in Kent, England. Young Wells received a spotty education, interrupted by several illnesses and family difficulties, and became a draper's apprentice as a teenager. The headmaster of Midhurst Grammar School, where he had spent a year, arranged for him to return as an "usher," or student teacher. Wells earned a government scholarship in 1884, to study biology under Thomas Henry Huxley at the Normal School of Science. Wells earned his bachelor of science and doctor of science degrees at the University of London. After marrying his cousin, Isabel, Wells began to supplement his teaching salary with short stories and freelance articles, then books, including The Time Machine (1895), The Island of Dr. Moreau (1896), The Invisible Man (1897), and The War of the Worlds (1898).

Wells created a mild scandal when he divorced his cousin to marry one of his best students, Amy Catherine Robbins. Although his second marriage was lasting and produced two sons, Wells was an unabashed advocate of free (as opposed to "indiscriminate") love. He continued to openly have extra-marital liaisons, most famously with Margaret Sanger, and a ten-year relationship with the author Rebecca West, who had one of his two out-of-wedlock children. A one-time member of the Fabian Society, Wells sought active change. His 100 books included many novels, as well as nonfiction, such as A Modern Utopia (1905), The Outline of History (1920), A Short History of the World (1922), The Shape of Things to Come (1933), and The Work, Wealth and Happiness of Mankind (1932). One of his booklets was Crux Ansata, An Indictment of the Roman Catholic Church. Although Wells toyed briefly with the idea of a "divine will" in his book, God the Invisible King (1917), it was a temporary aberration. Wells used his international fame to promote his favorite causes, including the prevention of war, and was received by government officials around the world. He is best-remembered as an early writer of science fiction and futurism.

He was also an outspoken socialist. Wells and Jules Verne are each sometimes referred to as "The Fathers of Science Fiction". D. 1946.

H.G Wells was a propagandist and social engineer that worked for the world elites. How much of his work was from his own mind and how much he was told directly to write is debatable. Its common knowledge Wells was more or less a basketcase that could be easily controlled, so that, along with his talent for writing made him the perfect man for the job. He was an open Fabian Socialist which wants a centralized world government but they consider themselves to be kinder and gentler enlightened types as opposed to the Fascists and Communists. The difference could be likened to giving a dog thats tied in the yard with four feet of rope, instead of the two feet of rope that the Commies and Fascists give you.

The Open Conspiracy calls for various things that either have been implemented since like a centralized world bank controlling all money creation, which all "world citizens" (at this point in time unwittingly) would pay a tax into. He also calls for eliminating property ownership, replacing individual land owners with "householders" or "tenants." Wells being the generous enlightened type that he is does think that to a degree the "householder" should be allowed to "fashion his house and garden after his own desire." Oh how kind of you Mr. Wells!!!

Other choice things discussed in The Open Conspiracy, and these are direct quotes, are Wells talking about the need for a "mental sanitation process" where feelings of nationalism are to be replaced with an acceptance being a "world citizen". Wells says the main objective of the "Open Conspiracy" in the early stages of the social engineering process is to "disentangle all traditions, loyalties, and time honored ideas", meaning loyalty to ones country, race and family. He also calls for education reform to have education that pushes "the cause of world reconstruction" as well as publishing books that push this idea and making sure all libraries are stocked with them. He also says the Open Conspiracy must "impose freedom". Any of this sound familiar to you?

In some ways this book is similar to the Protocols, very boring to read, but amazing for the blatant example of the world controllers openly flaunting what they had planned to do and have done or are in the process of doing. Like I said boring but you should probably read this if you want to decipher the globalist beast.

The Fabians were smart enough to realize that true revolution takes generations. It takes a slow gradual shift in the values of society and they positioned and recruited themselves to enact their plans extremely well. They very much embody and advocate the Huxleyan soft-power control structure.

Wells was a major propagandist for the Fabians and sells their vision with true religious fervour. The problem is: the idea of world government is truly monstrous. Like, worse than the horrors of Soviet communism, worse than fascism, worse than tyrannical despotism. And The Open Conspiracy is a truly monstrous document. It spells the true death of the human soul. It represents complete spectrum control of the human species. And as usual, it is sold to us as for our benefit.

This should be required reading for anyone with a concern for the path we're on. Read it.

Globalist shill. Wells had a massive boner for making the world into something like we see today. This conspiracy has been around for a long time and they are even more obnoxious about it today.

A boring slog of a book, but worth reading only to be able to refute the zombies who love to cry about "conspiracy theorists"

Some see this book as simply a call for human responsibility and global collaboration. Instead I see the inevitability of what is being proposed here. Now I know the emperor *has to be* naked. And it works because he is too fucking ugly to look at.

Maybe humanity will always be like a kid. We know the monster is hiding under our bed. Nobody believes us. But we know it *has to be* there. But even kids are too afraid to look under the bed to confirm their own fears.

Required reading if you are worried with the current state of the world.

Very little positive to say about this book. Basically, a guy with a first class masters degree and an accidentally successful previous book under his belt goes and rambles, basically, about an Open Conspiracy. We all know this guy, a late 20's early 30's white man with a secret belief that only he understands the world. Kinda painful.

At the start there's lot's of filler about himself. Then, getting into it, it remains unclear if this Open Conspiracy something that already does exist, or should exist or that might one day exist? Well, that is never made clear. It's a book written entirely in the subjunctive: oh, that this could or will or might happen. So, impossible to get what is actually being described.

What is being described is a "let's all" make a new religion, a religion based on reason. (Yes, another one). And let's just organise everything like this and that. Throws in casual statements like

There is hope that, later, directed breeding will come within his [his reasonable man's] scope

and

There is no strong instinctive desire for multitudinous offspring, as such, in the feminine makeup

If H. G. could only reflect, a bit, on what he is on about, then . . . he might have given up on this book. There is almost nothing at all of value here.

P.S. The reason that this book is almost never mentioned despite being by a very famous author and being about "THE BIG CONSPIRACY" is that it, this book, is complete crap, basically.

I suppose this is the intellectual foundation of one world government. But unlike the conspiracist scare with which we tout the name, this books presents a framework of the world where division of races, nation states, religions will be non-existent. Instead one race - human race will organize its efforts (by limiting its birth as well) to distribute natural resources equally for all, so that full potential of human can reach its heigh.

Without it, the alternative are the same wars that preceded present civilization mostly like resulting in mutual self annihilation.

You would be hard pressed to find a more appropriate period of time in which to read this book then our current time. I was for the most part pleasantly surprised with Wells' ideas and plan though personally it seemed to me that for his plan to work it relied upon the assumption of the people who would hold certain potions being genuinely good, selfless, and honest people and sadly it is rare to find a person who holds their integrity and morals to be the most valuable things they have. Aside from Wells plan there is another valuable reason for reading this book which is seeing if the things which th

This short read elucidates a particular worldview that continues to shape geopolitics today in the 21st century.

As the title states, this book discusses of an *open conspiracy* in the sense that there are multiple like-minded individuals (who form organizations and such) working towards some common goals.

Regardless of whether or not you adhere to the worldview espoused by this book (which reads like a kind of manifesto), this is a work worth reading to understand the goals and motivations of many of those who steer the world today.

Well... He was transparent about it.

Global unity, scientific/ rational approach, propaganda, education system based on the selection of the NWO, socialism, elite system of rulers and hierarchy, and playing the long game.

Only thing I can say about this book is that obviously it is well written and it is a book that everyone should read.

Wells is basically laying the foundation for the one world government, science dictatorship that the secular materialists crave so badly. In it he lays down how men women and children will be slowly and aggressively indoctrinated into lives of nothing more than production and consumption and controlled through Eugenics lead birth control.

He seems very naive, it does not cross his mind once, that the purveyors of this science society could be in any way corrupt, or corrupted.

Clearly the world we have today is based on some of these blueprints. This is one of many non fiction philosophical books released by mouth pieces of this science establishment that absolutely exposes the movement, and is an absolute dagger to the heart of the deniers.

"The Open Conspiracy" is a book written by H.G. Wells and first published in 1928. It is a work of political and social theory that outlines Wells' vision for a new world order based on a global society that is united by a shared commitment to rationalism, social justice, and scientific progress.

In the book, Wells argues that the traditional institutions of government and religion are no longer capable of meeting the needs of modern society, and that a new kind of social and political organization is necessary to meet the challenges of the 20th century. He calls for the creation of a "World Republic" that would be governed by a global elite of scientists, intellectuals, and technocrats who would work together to create a better world for all humanity.

Wells believed that this new society would be based on principles of reason, cooperation, and social justice. He envisioned a world in which technology and scientific progress would be used to solve the world's problems, and where individual freedoms would be protected and enhanced by the collective efforts of society.

"The Open Conspiracy" has been criticized for its utopianism and its elitist vision of a society governed by a global intellectual elite. However, it has also been praised for its prescience and for its insights into the challenges and opportunities of the modern world. The book remains an important work of political and social theory and continues to be studied and debated by scholars and activists around the world.
