While this is great for those just learning about intercessory prayer and the prophetic, it also has encouragement and words of wisdom to reinvigorate champs. It serves as a good roadmap, with resources to go deeper at the end of each chapter. I'm excited to do the 21 devotional in the appendix. At a book signing, we asked Goll what his favorite was. He ran through several but landed on The Prophetic Intercessor with conviction as he considers it one of his key life messages. His commitment comes through the pages, as does his off-beat humor. Lastly, Goll is a fantastic teacher who likes to corroborates across 3 sources: Word, historical context and recent experience. You'll find Biblically sound and meaty chapters that are balanced with anecdotes. Read it!

I am weeping as I finish this book. I am reviewing the words spoken to me through the 21-day devotional. Read together they are overwhelming. I have taken my time with this book as there has been a lot to digest. I now know beyond a shadow of doubt I am a prophetic intercessor. There has been so much impartation in this book. I will treasure its wisdom. Thank you so much Dr James Goll for your service to the body of Christ. You are a true general with a heart for people and a vulnerability that is very endearing. It is a privilege to be mentored by you.
