I really enjoyed this book and like the series. Sturdy and Nichole's one night of passion is shattered when Alien Breed hating cult members kidnap her. Deciding to use her slow torture and death as a warning to any other woman who falls for an Alien Breed, the group posts videos online of what they do, tormenting Sturdy, who wants to rescue his mate. Nichole stays strong but soon realizes that there is no compassion in the cult, and if she wants to survive, she needs to stay strong until Study rescues her. But, with her execution via burning at the stake drawing ever closer, the torture gets worse, and time is running out.

Alien Breed is an interesting take on the aliens come to Earth romance genre. I'm interested to see where this goes and if we learn more about how the Breeds came to be and how the world will deal with these artificially created children of humanity. I do want more information about what happens to the cult members and how far their hate has spread and what this means for peace between the breeds and humanity.
