Gregor is a vampire, a billionaire businessman, and a Dom. His fascination with Chloe has him questioning everything he thought he knew, and his once famous control seems almost non-existent in her presence. But fear and betrayal intervene when Gregor takes what he feels belongs to him.
Can Chloe forgive Gregor and take a chance on the vampire who's stolen her heart?
Set in the sleepy Yorkshire town of Rothley and both Moscow and St Petersburg in Russia, will the miles she travels help Chloe rebuild her trust? Or will they both end up broken in the end?

I wasn’t sure that I would like this book as much as I liked the first two books in The Night Movers Series, but Gregor’s Reason became my favourite book.

I always thought he was little removed from the other vampires in the series, but it wasn’t until I read Gregor’s Reason, I fell in love with him. Not only was he a he a loving man (vampire) who loved his family, but he cared about everyone in his extended family. He used his wealth to make others’ lives better. His old-fashioned values and his personal history made him a wonderful man, sorry, vampire.

The way he treated Chloe made me swoon.

I wanted to give Gregor’s Reason more than 5 stars, but sadly that wasn’t possible.

After reading the first two books in this series, I quickly started reading Gregor and Chloe's story.
Gregor is such a strong personality, strong and very dominant, that I was a little concerned that I might not like this book...BUT I was wrong. Leave it to Helen Bright is an excellent story teller.

That's book 3 done already. I can't believe how fast I'm reading these. I think I need to slow down else I'm going to run out of these vampires & their stories.

This one is a little more self explanatory, as in who our main character is. Yep you guessed it, it's Gregor; the mighty Russian vampire. We already know quite a bit about Gregor from the previous book but now the focus is firmly on him. I have to admit I kinda expected Gregor to end up with Freya, but no I was wrong.

As we expect the usual characters are present as & when needed, again we are also introduced to new ones too; for instance Chloe. Chloe has endured an unpleasant past & now she has drawn a line under it & is moving on with her life. And then she meets the mysterious Gregor.

These two are an unlikely pair. Want to know if they work? Guess you'll need to grab yourself a copy to find out.

In true Helen fashion we are launched back into this world of vampires & humans. Boundaries & friendships will be pushed & tested maybe to their limits.

Gregor is a strong character, quite dominating. He's not afraid to seek what he wants or to say what he wants. Chloe on the other hand seems fairly reserved & shy. But she's also curious about Gregor & her feelings. Through their actions the characters show that they have real feelings, thoughts & emotions. That makes them even more endearing to the reader, you can't help but allow them into your heart.

The events that take place & the issues the characters face are so realistic, it is easy to see that everyday people would deal with these same issues (not vampirism so much), it is because of this that these characters feel so realistic.

Helen has yet again demonstrated that she is capable of giving enough details to keep your interest but that create a trail of crumbs that you have to follow, that make you turn the page to find out more. I know after I started Gregor's Reason I didn't want to stop. The pace & flow fit the overall story well. The reader's interest is caught at the start & held until the end.

Gregor's Reason is full of love, lust, passion, romance & also has a good amount of humour in it too. There are some real laugh out loud moments, which were very fitting.

For me this was another fantastic addition to this series & I'm thoroughly looking forward to book 4.

You know how some books become all-consuming when you read them? This book was one of those for me. I burned dinner one night while trying to read and cook at the same time!

Gregor’s book has it all: characters who have thrived after overcoming trauma, tight friendships and family connections, comic relief, vampires, billionaires, and steamy scenes between a dom who discovers his heart and a women willing to try new things.

The author took quite a leap when she paired Chloe with Gregor considering her background and his sexual preferences. I liked how Chloe was such a strong person to have overcome and thrived after such a brutal relationship. I loved Gregor's generosity and fierceness. I also loved some of the everyday moments such as the love surrounding the birth of Julia & Alex’s (the couple from the first book of the series) baby. And there are quite a few funny scenes, especially the blue unicorn and Boris the cat.

These books build on each other, so it’s nice to see characters from the first two books feature prominently in this book. Sergei plays an important, and at times hysterical, role here. It was also fun seeing Russia from both Chloe and Gregor’s viewpoints.

Gregor’s Reason left me smiling and feeling warm & fuzzy – it’s a wonderful book! The books in this series keep getting better and better. I’m already anxiously awaiting Sergei's story!

I'm absolutely loving this series! Each story deals with heartache and humour, love and lust, and it is all written with sensitivity and understanding.
Although Gregor seems to want for nothing, his life still holds a void which only Chloe can fill. I love Chloe's sense of humour and her down-to-earth attitude, which seems to ground Gregor perfectly. I was actually laughing out loud in places while reading this story, and can't wait for the next book to be written.
The whole series is filled with great characters and the books are very different to what I expected from a set of vampire novels. Excellent!

Ms Bright does it again, I hate to give away teasers so all I'm going to say is if you enjoy a Dom with a heart, some conflict and hot sex all with a little bite, then Gregor is your man.

There was ALOT of internal dialogue at the start of the story so It made the start real slow going for me but eventually it picked up and I couldn’t put it down. I liked Chloe. She was nice but had a backbone which is always a huge plus when it comes to leading women. Gregor was cocky and a total alpha male but I loved that he had a soft spot for Chloe. Some of his inner musings about here had a goofy smile on my face. There was some BDSM elements to the story, and there was a room like in a bother well known BDSM book, which I didn’t like. It just made me think about that other book more then these characters being their own but other then that, I enjoyed the BDSM elements to the story.

The plot was good. When Chloe learned that he was a vampire, I was so glad that she didn’t run scared. She took it in stride and was just awesome about it. Gregor was alpha and was possessive (in a good way) of her and it was cute to see. The knew he wanted her and went after what he wanted. They had their issues but they worked through them..... in an odd way (I loved that she.... went? I don’t want to say taken.... to Moscow even if she didn’t like it at first lol). I loved seeing a place I’ve never been though the characters eyes. But overall it was a a good read with stream and a forever type of love once they worked though their issues. I won’t go into too much more detail but I look forward to reading the next one. 4 stars #2OCCJD

Whoa… Gregor is a middle aged DOM steamy vampire Russian who is both determined and in control… sort of.

I didn’t think that would ever be a sentence I’d say, but here we are.

Finally the FMC put her foot down and put up more of a fight and I deeply appreciated that. While also seeing growth on her side to explore new things from food to counties and cultures to breaking fears and trying to step in to the world is BDSM.

Gregor has been a pivotal character in several of the books so it was nice to see more of him and what makes him this big bad Russian business man who spoils all of the ladies in the books….

While their backstories are sad and really make you want to kick something I appreciated the realistic reactions and how no one had to die in lieu of…

Better story. Better plot. And fun new story lines.

Ps. Boris is going to be the hero in the next book! Ha

An enjoyable read

I did enjoy this book, but I definitely preferred the two previous books before it. I do love Gregor and Chloe being together and Chloe finding TRUE LOVE with a man like Gregor, especially because of what she endured in her past. I think because a lot of the storyline was based in Moscow and Gregor and Chloe did a lot of sightseeing there, that sort of thing doesn't really appeal to me. I enjoyed the love that these two shared and Sergei's humor, especially with the cat he found. I'm definitely looks forward to his book, which is next. I'm hoping for more action and evil doings by other vampires.

I've liked each and every one of Ms. Wright's books in this series. This is my 2nd time around and I think it gets better with each reading. Gregor is a bit edgy but that's what make him, him.
I'm not into his kinky stuff but the story is good well written, except I don't like Maxim at all. I hope there's more Night Moved books coming out in the future. I've read Sergei's Angel too and liked it too.

This is the third book in The Night Movers Vampire series and it just keeps getting better and better. I’m totally crushing on Gregor, and find myself needing my own Russian vampire…he’s just so sexy & dominating and I loved that he had a soft spot for Chloe. Chloe was the perfect match for Gregor and I loved that she had a backbone. From beginning to end, this story will grab you and not let you go, and keep you turning the pages. A vamp-a-licious awesome story and one I highly recommend.

This series just gets better with each book. Gregor and Chloe’s story is fabulous. On the surface, this would seem to be an unlikely pairing. In true Helen Bright fashion though, she proves us all wrong. These two are very hot and although complicated, they really work so well as a couple. I love the fact that Chloe is her own woman and won’t give in to his dominance.

This book was phenomenal! It has a very tough subject that has been brought out. Chloe is a tough cookie to get through what she had, and still find love and security. I really appreciate books that bring those topics to the forefront. Unlike the other two books, this one is emotional trauma that the main characters have to contend with. I can't wait for the next one!

I really enjoyed enjoyed Gregor and Chloe’s story, though the one I am really hanging for is next!
I love a female character like Chloe, that doesn’t become a doormat when they catch the ‘feels’. Chloe is a fantastic character and the perfect equal for Gregors dominating personality.

I am so happy for Gregor and Chloe finding and accepting one another. The mind control demonstrated at the community meeting and on the butcher is rather amusing. Serves him right! Thoroughly enjoying the Night Movers series.

This is the 3rd book in the series and I thought it might not grab my interest-I was so wrong. The characters are so well developed. I love how the relationships between the characters carries out through the series but never overpower the central characters of each book. Definitely worth read.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book within the series. I love that the female characters are strong. These characters are given such detail. The male characters are just as strong. Definitely loved this book and a must read.

This is books 3 in Helen Bright’s Night Mover Series, which is a debut series by a new Indie author. All of the books have been great, but they just keep getting better! I love seeing the progression and growth of a new author, even when she starts out great. These books are Paranormal Romance and have Vampires, but they are different, something this genre has needed for a while now. The books don’t focus on the typical issues most Vampire books do but it focuses on the friendships between humans and vamps. For more on this, see my review of My Love Forever. I love that the author ‘colored outside the lines’ to give us something different. I’m here to tell you that she did this well.

Gregor. I’ve been waiting on this character. He’s been my favorite from the beginning. He’s been mysterious and dangerous, so of course he’s been my favorite. The fact that he softens to meet his girl’s needs just made me fall harder. I mean, who is willing to do that? God, I want him. I loved that the author took a chance on two unlikely characters to fall in love. Chole was broken from a terrible past and had no interest in men. She’s terrified. Gregor, well, he’s incapable of more than ‘one then done,’ as in physically incapable. Curious? Want more info? One click and experience it because my lips are sealed. I will say that one of them decide to just go for it, things get…..interesting. And yes, things heat up quickly. This is where the Vampire’s special abilities come into play the most, adding an eroticism that is not found in other books.

All of these books have contained humor, but its stronger in this book for several reasons that I’m not going into. You’ll need to one click for details. Just know that I laughed so hard that I had to stop reading until my laughing tears cleared up so I could see the words. The plot is well developed and flows effortlessly. The characters are once again developed so well that you feel like you get to know them, become friends with them, and this includes the secondary characters. I’m completely impressed with the series continuity, especially by a new author. The dialogue is perfect. The book is written in 1sr person, and is done very well. There is dual POV., also done well.
Unlike the first two books, this book involves only one couple. I suspect it’s because Chole and Gregor are complicated. Gregor has specific needs and these needs are a direct threat to Chole’s fragile emotional stability. Compromises will need to be made. Someone will need to stop running and get honest. One Click now to find out the details. All of the previous secondary characters are here, as well as the previous characters so we get to see their progression, and I love that. This can be read as standalone but it will be much better to read in order, but that’s always my opinion with series. Sergei is in this one more, and he is hilarious and sweet. I hope his story is next!

I definitely recommend this book, this series, and this author.
