The Bad Boys #4.1

Always With You: Part One

Rate this book
Love didn’t come easy for Cash and Olivia. Forever will come even harder. But true love doesn’t give up, not even when dreams are crushed and reality isn’t quite the fairy tale you expected it to be.
When Olivia married Cash Davenport, it was her dream come true. Cash was everything she wanted and everything she needed, all wrapped up in jet-black eyes and an irresistible smile. She thought since she’d finally found the ideal man, their life would play out like a fairy tale. And, for a while, it did.
Until she found out that another woman, a woman from Cash’s past, has given him the one thing that Olivia can’t—a child.
For Cash, seeing their baby growing inside his wife would only make a perfect marriage more perfect, but all he really needs for true happiness is the love of his life—Olivia. She wants to give him a child, though, and when she can’t conceive, it puts a strain on her that Cash can’t seem to alleviate. That strain explodes when Sophie Marks, Cash’s old flame, shows up at their door with a little girl in tow. A little girl she claims belongs to Cash.
After all this time, can Sophie be trusted? Or has she returned with the sole intent of destroying the only real happiness Cash has ever known.

New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author, M. Leighton, is a native of Ohio. She relocated to the warmer climates of the South, where she can be near the water all summer and miss the snow all winter. Possessed of an overactive imagination from early in her childhood, Michelle finally found an acceptable outlet for her fantastical visions: literary fiction. Having written over a dozen novels, these days Michelle enjoys letting her mind wander to more romantic settings with sexy Southern guys, much like the one she married and the ones you'll find in her latest books. When her thoughts aren't roaming in that direction, she'll be riding wild horses, skiing the slopes of Aspen or scuba diving with a hot rock star, all without leaving the cozy comfort of her office.

About Michelle: I love coffee and chocolate, even more so when they are combined. I'm convinced that one day they could be the basis for world peace. I also love the color red and am seriously considering dying my hair.

I was absolutely thrilled to get more Cash and Olivia and especially excited to read more of this storyline since ML had parceled out some of the chapters to her newsletter subscribers.

I just knew this would fulfill my emotional addiction and I was so happy it did. But at the same time, my heart went out to Olivia. I couldn't imagine having to go through that.

But Cash is the man. I LOVE how he has handled things and he is just so good to Olivia.

There's also some much needed development for another couple...finally! ;)

I'm optimistic that things will work out for the best but I'm quite enjoying the journey. Can't wait for Part 2!

The Good Stuff:

Dual Pov's? Yes!

Steam Factor? (Scale 1 - 5) 5...it's Cash after all!

Angst? (Scale 1 - 5) 5 again, it hurt sooo good!

Next book? Part 2 is suppose to come out June 2015 and Part 3 in July.

Last time we saw Cash and Olivia, they were starting their happily-ever-afer. Time can change things without notice. Although the married couple is still quite happy with one another, a blast from the past pops in and trouble follows.

Now with M. Leighton's decision to threaten the peaceful and content lives of Cash and Olivia, I'll definitely be following along with each new serial installment. It was an extra plus to get to see Ginger, Gavin, and Nash again, as well! Loved the Bad Boys series the first go-round, and a little more feels like a good choice!

Love love this series. Thank you Ms. leighton for bringing them back. I fell for Cash and Olivia's story from the beginning-book one Down To Me. I'm so elated to read more of their love story. And boy this one is a doozy. Impatiently waiting to see what happens next. Can July come in any sooner. Most definitely recommend this series.

2nd time around, needing Cash and Olivia in my life right now.....oh my.

I was able to read this in weekly installments and it was torture waiting for Friday each week. I thought that Cash and Olivia had their fairytale ending and there would be no more to their story. Fortunately, the lovely and talented Michelle has more to tell us.

Favorite characters are expanded and new ones are introduced. You'll love some, you'll hate one for sure. Curl up and catch up with Cash and Olivia. You'll be glad you did!!

WHAT THE HELL!!! This book was too short, I needed more, way more. The ending was too abrupt and I felt like I've missed parts of the story, even though I thought I'd read all the books so far in this series.

Well it would seem that there was a novella (A Davenport Christmas), which I have failed to read before this one and I have a strong suspicion that that ends where this one begins. This will also explain why the events in this story occur around Christmas time yet the book itself was released in summer time.

Despite my confusion and the fact that I seem to have missed part of the story, I truly did enjoy this book and loved being back with Cash and Olivia. The one sex scene in this book was pretty hot, then again there was always an amazing sexual chemistry between the couple. It's been a long time and I've read many many books since I last encountered those Davenport boys, so it took me a while to familiarise myself with certain details again, but I'll definitely be reading the next two novellas in this series.

For those who haven't read any books in this series yet, I highly recommend you do.

OMG. Have to buy the following books, like yesterday :)
=> I only put 3 stars because for me the book is not finish yet. Have to read the other parts. Apart from that it is a 4 stars book !

If you weren't in love with Cash before, you will now. He is too perfect! M.Leighton is ruining us to any other book boyfriends. lol!

I don't know if I would be as accepting as Olivia. She is the bigger person. I mean taking care of the kid definitely, the mother? Uhmm...more difficult.
Sophie is up to something, I can feel it in my bones. But what? Getting Cash back? NO WAY

M. Leighton never disappoints and this novella delivers. I loved being back with Cash and Olivia! I didn't realize how much I missed these two! My heart is breaking for them, but I have complete confidence they can get through whatever life throws at them.

As always Michelle's writing is amazing and the story line just drags you in. The romance is so sweet and so hot and so swoony. Don't miss this one!

I'm still not getting what the fuss is about.

This picks up immediately after the Christmas novella and now Cash and Olivia need to figure out what to do. And poor Olivia: her Christmas is ruined, she's having problems conceiving, Cash may have a 9 yr old daughter with a questionable mother, and then her dad goes and has a heart attack.

But at least Cash loves her and would do anything for her. Anything. And we read this over and over and over again.

Again I can't tell you how much I missed this couple . And to see that love and connection cash and olivia have is still very strong is beautiful and so hot. Now as for the bitch Sophie I don't trust her and I think she lying. I dint believe Isabella is his. Just strong gut feeling I have. I could be wrong but I don't trust her. And still want to know what happened between cash and Sophie.

So let's talk about how much I loved this novella, because I loved it a lot. A whole lot. It was intense, emotional, heartbreaking, heart melting, and just so much more. It was enrapturing to say the least, and it once again had me feeling and just believing in all that Olivia and Cash shared with one another.

This novella picks up right after the events of A Davenport Christmas, so you'll need to read that one first to have the best background to the events of this story. I loved that this novella just jumped right back into it all, and my heart was in the story right from the beginning. I felt so much of this story and just experienced every up and down Olivia and Cash did while I was reading. The events of this story definitely put those two and their love to the test, but I was more than thrilled with what I got from both of them as they faced the challenges that were thrown their way.

M. Leighton did a phenomenal job of bringing you right into the thick of this story, and her writing just allows you to feel how deeply Cash and Olivia love one another. You also experience every heartbreak, pain, and unsure moment they do in this story, and that just pulls your heart all the more into what you're reading. Her writing and fantastic storytelling also brings out the fiery passion and connection Cash and Olivia share in the best possible way, and you feel so much of their love when you read this story.

Like I said, this story is definitely eventful and has many twists and turns that just pulls you in more to what you are reading. You won't be able to stop reading, and you'll just love seeing Cash and Olivia try to work through it all with everything that comes their way. You also get the chance to spend more time with the other characters from this series who are just as amazing. I loved that, and their characters never failed to bring a smile to my face.

This novella was the best blend of emotion, heat, passion, feeling, and just had me on the edge of my seat the entire time as I learned more of this story and what was going on. I cannot wait to dive right into the next installment to see what's next for Cash and Olivia, and how they'll continue to fight like crazy for that deep and true connection they share. This novella once again reminded me why I love their characters so much, why their journey is so enrapturing, and how M. Leighton's fantastic writing brings their story to life in the best possible way. This was an overall fantastic novella, and I loved every word of it that I got to experience.

Olivia and Cash have had a lot to deal with since they got married. Their problems with getting pregnant have made Olivia feel insecure and inferior. She is afraid that she will be unable to give Cash a baby. Unfortunately, an old flame, Sophie, comes back to town with an unexpected surprise. Olivia is left reeling when she finds out that Sophie is claiming that the child is Cash's. Cash is understandably upset that Olivia is being put through this turmoil and has doubts about the child being his. Olivia also has a medical emergency with her father which causes additional stress and has the couple struggling to find alone time. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out with Olivia feeling secondary to his new "family". I am very excited to see where this goes.

With marriage, theirs always a few surprises

Cash and Olivia are still enjoying the honeymoon phase of their marriage. There love is stronger than ever and they want to share that love with a baby. As Christmas has approached and Olivia wants to celebrate it with family and friends, but as always they're uninvited guests that will show up and ruin the festivities for Olivia... Sophie, Cash's Ex with a nine year old daughter who belongs to Cash (so she say) and she's here to claim him. Olivia's world falls apart, Sophie is conniving and determined and Cash better learn fast about full disclosure!

Huh???

I am not even sure what to say about this one other than it made no sense. The author was so in love with her own characters, that even their affection for one another was annoying.
I only gave it 2 stars (barely) because there was potential for a decent story. And conflict was there in the beginning, so the book held my interest waiting for more. Unfortunately, more was not to be had here, just a couple of situations left open, culminating in a bathroom sex scene that seemed incredibly ill-timed and weird. I would have rather been treated to a steamy scene from one of the secondary couples.
On second thought, I'm taking away that second star.

This is a continuation of Cash and Olivia's story. This wonderful couple has been through so much and it looks like they are going to have to go through more. They have a wonderful love and they would do anything for one another. Sophie, Cash's high school best friend and girlfriend, shows up on Christmas day for help and to say that Cash is a father to her 9 year old daughter Isabella. This hurts Olivia more because she wants to have a baby with Cash more than anything and she doesn't know if she can get pregnant. Sophie is gorgeous but she seems devious and up to something.

Worth reading.

PSA: there is a festive novella titled, Christmas With The Davenports, that should be read before this for for full enjoyment. The cliffhanger to that, leads in to this. And it's a doozy...

Poor Olivia! She's been handed one heck of a surprise and considering the circumstances, I felt so, so bad for her. So many questions--is what Sophie says true? What are her intentions? Will she cause trouble? Will she be the end of Cash & Olivia????--but I know one thing for sure, I'm still completely in love with Cash Davenport!

Cash & Olivia

I have so missed Cash and Olivia and hope that Sophie gets her comeuppance. I had the opportunity to read this for free in the weekly series that M. Leighton sends in her emails to her fans every Friday but I feel she deserves to be paid for her wonderful stories so I will wait until each serial is available for purchase. Thanks M. for bringing back Cash and Olivia and here's to fertility.

Okay so I may be the only one and I may not be but I am not a big fan or series books or whatever they are called. I mean I don't mind if they are full novels in a series but the ones like a Novella series nah not so much. But I do love cadh so it wasn't so bad. I like catching up with characters I loved and this sounds intriguing but they always fall short for me. I never really get the time I need to fall in love with the book but it was good for a novella.

Another novella. Cash is dealing with his ex showing up saying that he is the father of a nine yr old daughter. Cash is also dealing with Olivias insecurity if this entire situation. His love for Olivia never f as and hers for him is also strong. They have that. Lucia is also dealing with a health issue of her father's and its just more stress. Cash has serious doubts about Sophia and Gavin decides to h Leo him loom a little further.
