Saving Michael again displays the strength of J.R. Wirth’s writing, showing the understanding of moments and emotions, and then being able to articulate them with eloquence and style. Saving Michael is a young adult seemingly only because the protagonists (male and female) are seventeen. The book however is suspenseful and intriguing, with layers within the story that aren’t even realized until the end. I’m not sure I can say more without saying too much, but I can say that this may be the best buddy/romance/Omen book in years. You won’t put it down.
