This book can be read as a standalone book in the Divemasters world.

Jayne Rylon takes the Divemaster's series out on a very high note with Going Hard. Every book in this series has been good and they've all offered up sexy alpha heroes, smarty and sassy heroines, interesting secondary characters, exciting and a bit suspenseful plots and a whole lot of sexy times and Going Hard has all of that and more.
Tosin Ellis has enjoyed his bachelor lifestyle and being a part of the Divemasters team but when he meets rare jewelry designer Kahori Akama he is not only smitten he begins to wonder if his bachelor days are over just like those of his business partners.
The Cook Islands are Kahori's homeland and she loves it there and while she'd enjoy traveling and being someplace a bit less oppressive for a smart business woman she remains for her father, her uncle and her cousin. When she meets Tosin, Archer and Miguel she's intrigued by their bond and the camaraderie she sees in them she is also intensely attracted to Tosin who is not shy about letting her know he very much would like to know her better.
Yes, their relationship moves at a rapid pace but they cover a lot of ground and a whole lot happens to make them both open their eyes and own up to the feelings they have for one another. When Kahori's life is turned upside down in more ways than one having Tosin and the rest of the crew of the Divemaster by her side gives her the strength to make the best decisions for her. I loved the way Ms. Rylon infused a couple of side romances into this book and gave us a very clear picture of what happens with every member of the Divemaster crew.
I finished this book with a big smile on my face and as sad as I am to see this series end, it has been fun and entertaining and one of my favorites by this author.
Going Hard is the third and final book in the Divemasters series and I’m actually sad that it is. I’ve enjoyed the previous books in the series, Going Down and Going Deep, but Going Hard is the book that I couldn’t put down. I loved Tosin and Kahori and I really enjoyed how the mystery/suspense storyline was more intertwined with their budding relationship than the previous books and the camaraderie between all those on the divemaster bumped up my enjoyment even more and made me wish I was on the yacht right along with them.
Tosin and Kahori were a lot of fun to get to know and watch as they fell hard for each other. Tosin is sweet, compassionate, loyal, charming and sexy as hell. He appreciates the lifestyle he has now, but doesn’t take it for granted. His upbringing could have molded him in a different way, but he chose the high road and kept going until meeting Archer and Miguel who shared the same spirit and outlook on like. Kahori is a true island girl who has a traveler’s soul. She is proud of her heritage and how it speaks to her artist’s heart, but wants to spread her wings and see what the world has to offer, but what holds her back is her loyalty and love for her family. While she wishes things were different, she doesn’t allow resentment to fester. She has a growing business that allows her to do what she loves and bring a touch of happiness to those who buy her gorgeous creations.
Their relationship evolves quickly, but it worked for me. Due to various factors they ended up opening up to each other far quicker than either expected and it helped them realize that there was more to their mutual attraction other than the sexual chemistry that blazed between them whenever they were together. Their bantering was fun and sweet and I really liked how neither hid the fact that they were interested in the other. They had their bumps in the road, but they worked through them, though I’m sure there were a few instances where they wished the catalyst had been different.
The writing as always was engaging and enjoyable and the pacing done well. I really liked how the mystery component was woven into the story and while I guessed at who was behind, I was surprised at how it was resolved. I do feel the need to point out that the blurb/description isn’t an accurate representation of what you’ll be experiencing in the book, in fact I had to read it a few times to make sure I wasn’t going crazy. It didn’t take anything away from the story for me, in fact I’m kind of happy that it wasn’t more like the blurb, so I look at it as a little blip in the process instead of a huge issue. I loved the attention to detail when it came to the Cook Islands, it’s people and it’s culture. Being of Polynesian descent myself I am quite picky at how things are described and represented and I felt that the picture that Ms. Rylon painted was very respectful and true to life. It also showed how much she obviously appreciated and enjoyed her time in the islands.
There is a part of me that wishes this wasn’t the last book in the series because I loved hanging out with Archer, Waverly, Miguel, Sabine, Tosin, Kahori, Banks and Alex and seeing their friendships/relationships grow stronger. But as an ending this book was a perfect send off.

5 Star Review Going Hard (Divemasters Book 3) by Jayne Rylon This is the third book in the newest series Divemasters from Jayne Rylon and I was excited to read this one. I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books so was anxious to see what happens next. This is Tosin Ellis and jeweller, Kahori Akama story, and what a story it is. Tosin is the last of the single Divemasters, a status he has no plans to relinquish. However, all that changes when he tags along with Archer and Miguel as Archer goes in search of a designer for the ring he plans to give Waverley. It is then that Tosin is knocked for six by the stunningly sensual Kahori. The attraction between Tosin and Kahori is electrifying, with both trying their best not to be too obvious at first, however they are soon overwhelmed by the passion they feel for each other. Tosin knows immediately that she is the one for him but Kahori is certain that it will be a fling and then she will be alone again. When Kahori opens up about her extremely limited sexual experience at a club, Tosin realises his work it cut out for him, although Kahori is naturally submissive (although not obvious to her) a horrible experience has made her extremely wary of the lifestyle. Tosin, like all the other Divemasters is an alpha Dom with a heart of gold. In fact I will admit I fell more in love with him than Archer and Miguel. The very last thing she needs to find out about is the Clubroom on the boat; and yes you guessed it that is what she stumbles upon. The chemistry between Tosin and Kahori was smoking hot and the scenes together simply sizzled. When trouble lands at Kahori’s feet and she is attacked, Tosin comes to her rescue. When her father disappears at the same time as she is attacked, Kahori fears the worst; it is up to Tosin and his friends to help her solve the riddle of what is happening, her father’s disappearance and why she was attacked. If I closed my eyes, I could almost envisage that I was in The Cook Islands as the descriptions of the places they visit came alive to me whilst I was reading. I really felt at times that I could see what they were seeing. Ms Rylon’s real life love of diving obviously plays an important part in this series. This book to me was probably the most suspenseful of the three, it had it all, romance, hot and racy scenes, action and at times heartbreak. This is well worth your reading and it can be read as a stand-alone, although if I were you I would get the previous two books as well. As far as I am aware this is a 3 book series, but I love it so much I do hope that Ms. Rylon decides to extend it. Ms. Rylon brought the series to a close and tied up the loose ends nicely, however having said that I would most certainly like to read more about Banks and Marta along with Captain Alex and the doctor. This is a great book and series and one I highly recommend.
***I received an ARC of this for an honest review***
I really enjoyed this. Normally I will not read a book out of sequence, and I have not yet started her Divemasters series. So it was a hard decision to start this one, but as I got it as an ARC with a deadline, I had to read it or not get another ARC again. The characters felt well rounded, and I'm sure they will be even rounder when I go back and read the first 2 books. The plot, well I knew who the bad guy was immediately, but I wouldn't fault the author or plot for that. I'm just brilliant. Tosin- I liked him. Though there were times where he was a little too perfect. Kahori - I liked her. However, I cannot understand why
My only real issue while reading it, was that they all sounded VERY American. Kahori is supposed to be Native to the Cook Islands. I could easily understand if her mannerisms came across Aussie or Kiwi in nature, or even influenced by the French Polynesian Islands, but sounding/acting like someone from the Mid West? Yes, I realise that we live in a very connected world, but there are still some mannerisms that are very culturally specific. Same went for Tosin, he's supposed to have been raised in the Netherlands. But he didn't act or speak European at all. I'm not saying that the author should have Mark Twain'd us and written in accents, because often that just goes horribly wrong. But not making them sound and act like they are from Middle/or West Coast America probably would have been a good idea. It felt off-putting as I was reading it. No joke, if Kahori hadn't been native, but instead some person visiting the islands, the reactions/inner and outer voice/mannerisms would have fit just fine. (Less of an issue with Tosin, since he was supposed to be so world travelled, but still it felt more like an American doing the wanderlust thing as opposed to a European.)
Oh, also regarding the plot... I did think of one thing that bothered me.
Going Hard is the third book in Jayne Rylon's Divemasters series and while it can be read as a standalone, I strongly encourage you to read the previous two books as well. This was my favorite of the three. I was excitedly waiting for Tosin's story and Jayne Rylon did not disappoint. Tosin is determined to remain single despite his friends fall in love around him. That changes when he meets Kahori while helping Archer buy an engagement ring. He's instantly taken by the beautiful and talented jewelry designer. When Kahori discovers someone has been switching the pearls in her jewelry and her life is in danger Tosin enlists his friends to help protect her. There was a lot of intrigue and emotion in this story that will keep you rapidly flipping pages. Like you come to expect with a Jayne Rylon series there was also a lot of passion. I enjoyed this book to much and am sad to see this unique series come to an end. Here's hoping we get another book or novella at some future date. A copy was provided in exchange for an honest review.
Wow! Book 3 in the Dive Masters Series is one hot book. I hate to see the series come to an end but it’s a fantastic ending. It can read as a standalone because it explains how it all started so you won’t be lost if you read it first. Tosin Ellis has a great life living on the massive Dive Master yacht with his friends that also classify as his family. They anchor outside Avatiu Harbour. It’s here where he meets Kahori Akama, who makes beautiful jewelry to sale online and in her store. There’s adventure and plenty of hot sex so sit back and ride along with them and their friends. This is a great book that unfortunately ends a fantastic series. I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.
This was a great ending to a great series! This third installment followed Tosin in his fall to love. Set in a beautiful location, the Divemasters go to an island for two reasons; one to set up a place to grow the items needed for Sabine's work and secondly for Archer to purchase an engagement ring for Waverly. This is where we meet Kahori. This story takes us through her personal and family struggle with progress versus tradition. I loved this story and wish this series could continue on. The Divemaster concept of free trips for certain groups was inspirational. Ms. Rylon has done it again!!!!!
~ARC provided by author in exchange for an honest review~ I devoured this one! Read it cover to cover straight through. As with the two books before, I loved it. Tosin’s story was worth the wait and he and Kahori are great together. The interactions between the two of them combined with the rest of those who make the Divemaster their home made the book. Jayne Rylon does it again. I absolutely recommend this and all the books in this series.
Tosin and Kahori were made for each other! In this, the final book in the trilogy, you will get a clumsy hero that falls in love with a local artist. The attraction is instant! The story line is wonderfully creative and down right dirty at times. This is one of those books that brings you closure for everyone involved.... HAPPY EVER AFTER, DIVEMASTERS!
I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Going Hard is the third and final book in the Divemasters series and can be read as a standalone. Jayne Rylon has given her readers everything they want and so much more. This book has a great mix of adventure, angst, betrayal, bad guys, mystery, suspense, hot sex, love, and a great HEA.
what a hot sexy and heartbreaking ending to a fantastic trilogy. wish i had read them when i first discovered them years ago instead of putting them at the bottom of my TBR. Oh well, at least i've experience their greatness now. Tosin and Kahori were perfect for each other and the healing they provided one another was wonderful to experience.
Suspense and love come together for the last dive master. It’s insta-love, but they do actually communicate later on, which helps. The suspense was thinner than the previous book.
Third book is the best of the series imo. Enjoyed reading these. Found them by accident while looking at marketing search terms that resulted in clicks for my own books. 🤿🫧✨
Going Hard is the third and final book in the Divemasters series. I’m almost embarrassed to admit that I haven’t read the first two books yet but because of that I can tell you without reservation that this book stands alone with no problem. Characters from the first two books make appearances in this one but Ms. Rylon does an excellent job of giving the reader any background they need from the first two books; I didn’t feel like I missed a thing. (Note to self: read the first two books! If they are half as sexy and good as this one I will love them!)
Tosin Ellis and his friends have been at sea aboard the Divemaster for four thousand miles and he is looking forward to being on land for a bit. He and his partners, Miguel and Archer, are going ashore to find dinner but Archer wants to visit the Punanga Nui Market first so he can look for something special for his girlfriend. When Tosin first sets his eyes on Kahori Akama he is smitten.
Kahori Akama loves her work as a custom jewelry designer and her home on Aituataki. She used to travel some, showing and selling her designs but a bad experience has kept her closer to home for quite a while. She is intrigued by Tosin’s accent and his stunning looks. When she realizes that he is also intrigued by her she wants to explore their feelings.
I loved the relationships between all of the characters in this book. Ms. Rylon’s writing made me feel at home with them and made me wish I had friends like them. While this story has some BDSM elements to it they are mild and not the focus of the story. The book has lots of hot sexy time, suspense and intrigue set in an exotic location. For a novella length story I thought that the characters were developed nicely. While some people don’t like books with insta-love elements I don’t mind them at all in stories of shorter lengths.
This was a quick and easy read for me; just right for an evening of reading pleasure. I thought the ending of this book was perfect. Anyone who has read the first two books should be very satisfied with the ending for this series.
I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for my honest review.
Going Hard is the final book in the Divemaster series. Tosin is the last of the group to find true love. Kahori is a jewelry designer who has never been in love. The two of them meet when Archer (Tosin's friend) decides he wants to get an engagement ring for his girlfriend Waverly. One quick note, I really hate insta-love stories. This is an insta-love story but I was able to ignore that for the most part.
I liked the world of the Divemasters series. The three men (Archer, Tosin and Miguel) are each other's family. They are living their dream and helping others in the process. I thought it was so sweet when Tosin first laid eyes on Kahori and he was so flummoxed. I liked that Kahori knew who she was and what she wanted. I really appreciated how she was torn between wanting to grow her business and stay on the island with her family. There is a bit of mystery woven into the story. Honestly, it added a bit of mystery but it wasn't a real tense nail biter. It really served to give Tosin a reason to protect Kahori and force them to spend time together.
Some parts of the story were a bit simplistic. As an example, Kahori is a woman from a small island community. She has traveled a bit because she is a jewelry designer. She lost her virginity at a sex club during one of her trips. I was kind of confused by that because it seemed like a big leap from virgin island girl to foreign city sex club. Also, everyone in the story just automatically accepted Kahori as part of Tosin's life. I sort of wanted some questions about her background and if she was good for Tosin.
And then there's the ending. It was so...sweet. It was so....perfect. It was probably a good way to wrap up the books but it was a bit too sweet for my taste. I would have liked it better if the ending was set a year in the future because then everyone would have had adequate time to really get to know each other.
So why 4 stars? The story is fun and fast paced. I enjoyed the relationships and world building. The writing was good. The story just made me smile.
I would recommend this story to anyone who likes contemporary romance, beautiful settings for their stories, short stories or fans of Jayne Rylon.

I was given an ARC for an honest review. Going Hard is the third (and final) book in the Divemasters Series.
Divemaster Tosin Ellis, despite his recent luck and newly acquired wealth, is still a “poor slob at heart”. He, along with his best friends Archer and Miguel, own The Divemaster a mega-yacht–not to the stars, but for those in need. They use Archer’s money and influence to make the world a better place one dive at a time.
Tosin Ellis, sexy Dom and the lone holdout in the Divemasters trifecta of happily ever after. Tosin swears he doesn’t want a relationship, that he prefers the freedom of his bachelor ways. As his two partners, men closer to him than brothers, find their perfect other half and happily ever after, Tosin begins to realize what he’s missing, though he isn’t sure he’ll ever find it.
Archer drags Tosin and Miguel shopping, in search of a local jeweler named Kahori Akama. The second Tosin lays eyes on the beautiful artist, it’s lust at first sight-for both of them. Which of course, blooms in to love.
Kahori is attacked, Tosin and the rest of the Divemaster crew work together to keep her safe, to figure out who betrayed her, and how to stop them. At the same time, Tosin has to convince Kahori they are meant for each other. He isn't looking for a vacation fling or only one night, but forever with her. The only thing standing in his way, besides thieves and mayhem, The Clubroom and the naughty things he wants to do to Kahori in there.
As with the first two books in The Divemasters Series, Going Hard is romantic, action packed, humorous, and full of sexy times. My only complaint is that the series has ended. I would love to read about Banks, Captain Alex, and their lady loves. I expect you to get right on that, Ms. Rylon.
Another home run! Then entire series is a must read.
As the last lone wolf of The Divemaster, Tosin Ellis doesn’t plan on partnering up anytime soon. Then his friend Archer commissions an engagement ring for his fiancée…
Jeweler Kahori Akama is sensual, intriguing, and happy to accept Tosin’s help sourcing the black pearls she uses in her popular pieces. As their relationship goes from professional to personal, Tosin also learns Kahori’s family in under the threat of a blackmailer, someone intent on ruining her father’s resort business to lay claim to its valuable property.
Tosin never expected to find a single woman that could slake his sexual appetites, but Kahori surrenders to her raw and primal urges with the natural power of a typhoon strong enough to blow even a veteran sailor far off course. Once he’s experienced loving in the eye of the storm, he can’t imagine being satisfied by less.
Once more, the crew of The Divemaster will do what it takes to protect their own. Especially Tosin, who realizes Kahori’s heart just may be his home.
Review:
I received an advance copy of this book, but because of other books I was scheduled to read I was not able to get to this one until after the release date. I was chopping at the bit to get to it and once I did I devoured it in literally an hour.
I don't want this series to end. If it has to this is the perfect way to end. Tosin and Kahori are just what I have come to expect in a couple in this series; tough, smart, caring and sexy. The mystery and action in the story had me tense and waiting to see what happened next. The sexy, as in every one of her books had my blood a pumpin'. As, always Ms. Rylon's descriptions made me feel like I was there with the characters. The ending was very satisfying as the end of the book and the series.
4.5Stars
*I received a copy of this book from the Author in exchange for a fair and honest review.*
WOW Jayne has in my opinion saved the best until last! we have the reading pleasure of the lighthearted, joker of the Divemaster family tumble into love( I mean that literally as Tosin stumbles into a display in Kahori's jewellery shop after seeing her beauty for this first time!) I have always loved Tosin he balances out his "brothers" Archer and Miguel, the way he accepted Archer and his money and has embraced the opportunity that Banks and the money has given them, whilst supporting his best friends as they find their soul mates is what you would expect from a family. Seeing as Tosin only has his brothers and now a family due to them finding love, you can understand how they love and support each other, they have each other backs, whatever is needed they will do for each other and their women. Tosin had resigned himself to being a batchelour, he wasn't looking for love was just happy for his friends and enjoying the life he has been given, then along comes sweet, beautiful Kahori and his attitude changes, she is a woman with backbone and he wants her for keeps Kahori has vowed to stay on her little island with her father, she couldn't bare to leave him after her mother's betrayl and after some brief experimentation is happy with her life until gorgeous Tosin steps into her shop! Instant attraction and feelings, just what I love from Jayne's books, and Tosin helps Kahori with her desires and shows her what true passion and pleasure can be. This book I believe tied up all the love stories, we know that other couples emerge from the Divemaster and I couldn't be happier with the ending. Thank you for another great book, highly recommend this book and the series, gorgeous men, strong women, hotness and sweet love!
Together with his best friends, Archer and Miguel - who are more like family, Tosin owns and works aboard the Divemaster; a luxury mega yacht which is their home, and home base to the Banks Foundation. Though he is living out his wildest dreams and finally has a place to call home, Tosin can't help but wonder if he'll ever be able actually settle down.
Kahori has worked hard to build a name for herself with her jewelry line and has sacrificed her wanderlust to stay with her family on Aitutaki. Not willing to risk her heart or break someone else's, she toes the line of both when she meets Tosin and sparks begin to fly.
Because the back-story and relationship of Archer, Miguel and Tosin has already been established, I love how this book just jumps right to the good stuff. It's fast paced and action-packed, though I feel like this may have been the shortest of the series... and as always, I wanted MORE!
This is book 3 in the Divemasters series and similar to 1 and 2, this book DE-LIVERED!! This whole series is an amazing escape to paradise with excitement, danger, passion and no shortage of intensity. Part of what makes this particular series so fantastic is that Jayne's love of scuba shines throughout, giving the settings and descriptions a more natural feel. It's not forced and that just seems, to me, to be more enjoyable.
I would have liked to see the scuba activities play a larger role in book 3 than it did, that's one element that I found lacking. I was also hoping, really hoping, that there would be cameos from some of our favourite Men in Blue after the tantalizing teaser that was dropped at the end of book 6!
Jayne Rylon’s Divemaster’s Series has been an excellent decision from the start. Tosin Ellis’ story is no exception to that rule. I have been looking forward to Tosin since we first met him. He always has seemed to be fun loving but a stable presence. In Going Hard, we meet Kahori when Archer tracks her down for a ring for Waverly; there is instant attraction for both. Through Miguel and Sabine’s work they stay longer to speak to the elders. While at this event Kahori learns she has been betrayed by her family and her safety is at jeopardy.
I truly believe this is a 5 star read but I really wish Tosin and Kahori’s story was developed a bit deeper. It seems to have happened very fast. It may be the space where I am in my life but I had a hard time believing they could fall in love as quickly as they did and overcome the trust issues that were presented. That being said it is my only wish. . I loved catching up with Archer and Miguel and their ladies, Marta and Banks were divine and even Captain Alex got in on the action. My absolute favorite was the honeymoon suite’s secret room. I would love to see something like that.
Jayne Rylon has a history of strong characters that she places in some very twisted (pun intended) positions. She never fails to deliver hot scenes, interesting story lines, great personalities, and have I mentioned hot sex scenes. Overall, I highly recommend this and the previous Divemaster stories. If you haven’t checked out her other series I would also recommend that.
Tosin is my favorite of the Divemasters. In a group of laid-back man, he is the most laid-back of them all. I love his go with the flow attitude, his continued flirtatious manner and his commanding but fun and playful nature. He is the ultimate bachelor.
Kahori is an amazing artist and native to Cook Islands. A woman who has traveled a bit, but stays on the island for family. A sweet, kind and caring woman with an inner vixen who gets roused up beautifully.
Kahori and Tosin were made for each other. I loved how they both stumbled over themselves upon meeting. I loved how the suspense of the book intertwined so much with Tosin and Kahori getting to know each other. Their relationship does happen quickly, however the events surrounding the two of them are eye-opening causing the emotions and passion to flow.
Jayne Rylon gave readers something very special with the DIVEMASTERS series. Ending the series on a very high note. Giving readers a glimpse of what life is like for everyone on board the Divemaster. Awesome Alpha heroes and they're amazing women, fun secondary characters, beautiful settings and suspenseful stories that are filled with page turning passion.
I read Going Hard in one sitting. Although I was sad to finish the last few pages Tosin and Kahori story, along with the rest of the Divemaster crew, I was more than satisfied with the ending.
An eCopy of this title was provided for an honest review.
Overall: -4 / 5 Amount of sex - 4 / 5 How explicit - 4 / 5 Romance - 4 / 5 Going Hard is the third book in the Divemasters series by Jayne Rylon. I have not read the first two books in this series and had no difficulty following the story. With that said, I will be going back to read the first two books since I really enjoyed the characters. I have a feeling you will too… if you read Going Hard first.
I have loved every Jayne Rylon book that I have read and Going Hard is no exception. I adore the characters, the plot and just love her descriptions of the islands. I can picture Tosin and Kahori in the cave as well as the glass room they stayed in! Going Hard is a quick paced, suspenseful novel with a light sprinkling of BDSM. I thought it was great how Tosin explained it to Kahori, who has had a negative experience.
“You like letting go. Giving me complete control. But you don’t know me well enough to look beyond your history with a dumbass, reckless user who doesn’t know how to treat a prized partner to realize that with someone else, it would be a different experience entirely.”
I enjoyed Going Hard so much that the only complaint is that…. I wish it was a little longer! I absolutely recommend you clicking on this series, putting your feet up, and enjoy! **ARC was received in exchange for an honest review**
An action packed, suspenseful romance that is a MUST read! This book has an interesting storyline, amazing characters you can't help but love, hilarious banter and crazy antics, sensual intimate scenes, intense situations, danger, betrayal, and intriguing twists that will have you turning the pages to see what happens next. It pulled me in right from the start, and will stay with me long after the last word. A fantastic story and a perfect ending to this outstanding series!
This was a fun, adventurous, sexy, romantic, and suspenseful series that captured my heart! I was hooked from the beginning and although I am sad to see it end, I had a blast reading these amazing stories! Jayne Rylon is an exceptional and talented author, and one of my most favorite! Her stories are creative and exciting, while having the perfect balance that will keep you wanting more. I'm looking forward to seeing what she comes up with next!
If you haven't read this series, I suggest that you start from the beginning. Not only will you get to read amazing stories, but you'll learn more about each couple, and the dynamics of the Divemasters and how they came to be. I promise you will not be disappointed!
I received an arc from the author in exchange for a honest and unbiased review.
This is Tosin book and it is so awesome that I couldn't put it down. I read it straight through and loved every word. ** The Divemaster megayacht is in the Cook Islands for two reasons: The first is for Archer, to see Kahori Amkama, a jeweler, on Rarotonga, to procure an engagement ring for Waverly. But the main reason is for Waverly has an appointment on Aitutaki Island, to petition the village council in Aruntanga, to set up a growth dome for the medicianal algae. ** Upon his first sighting of her, Tosin, almost knocked down a display of necklaces and if not for Miguel he would have. The woman was exotic, an oceanic goddess and what he wanted to take home was, her. Tosin was drawn to Kahori, his tenderness and his protectiveness of her, knowing she may not want to leave her family or the island life, didn't stop him from falling in love with her. ** The story has it all, the ocean, caverns and glowworms, sweltering sex, the angst, badguys, betrayals, kindling of new loves and an underwater scene . I can't say just one part of the story was my favorite part, as the whole story was, but if I had to choose it would be, the caverns and glowworms, or the sweltering sex scenes or the underwater scene. My reccomendation is to one-click this and read it.
Going Hard is the third book in the Divermasters series. It's Tosin's story, the last lone wolf of his group of friends. Archer and Miguel have found their perfect women and now it's Tosin's turn and he'll learn more about himself that he ever expected.
I really enjoyed this story, it was a great ending to a fun series. I learned a lot about scuba diving during this series and even though this one has a lot less of that element than the previous two books it has other great qualities. The connection between Tosin and Kahori was off the charts and from the first moment they met I was rooting for them to be together. Love theirs name just had to mention that I love that they are such original characters and I've never read a story with any characters with these names which is really fun. The plot of the book had me on the edge of my seat and I had no idea what was going on only learning what's happening at the same time as Kahori is discovering it. I truly enjoyed the way the guys (and their ladies) look out for each other and always have their backs. Now all we need is for Banks and Captain Alex to have their own books!
I received an ARC of this book in return for an honest review. Going Hard is the final book in the Divemasters series by Jayne Rylon. Tosin and Kahori's story was my favorite of the trilogy. I enjoyed the look we received into the culture of the Maori of the Cook Islands and how the themes of family commitment and loyalty are important to them and Kahori. When her life is flipped off its axis she turns to Tosin and the Divemasters to help keep her safe and to figure out what is going on. At the same time she and Tosin explore the extremely HOT chemistry they have together. She has to make the extremely hard decision of following her heart and going with the man she is falling for or staying with her family and following the status quo. This book like the rest in the series has just the right mix of suspense, mystery, pain, and love. The only part that had me both happy and sad at the end was the how quickly one short paragraph wrapped up all four main characters and one secondary character’s lives. Another wonderful series from an amazing author I have and will continue to recommend to my friends.
I was very excited to read the last in the series of the Divemasters and Jayne Rylon did not disappoint!
Tosin is the last of the Divemasters not in a relationship and he wanted it kept that way but fate has a funny way of messing with that wish. He meets Kahori when Archer pretty much drags the guys with him to meet the jeweler as he is looking for a ring to propose to Waverly. Tosin falls in lust with Kahori at first sight, there’s a mutual attraction as Kahori feels a deep attraction him as well.
Their relationship went from 0 to 60 and it was great to experience, even though there is some danger involved that has Tosin and the rest of the gang helping to keep Kahori safe, won’t go into too much detail so as not to give away any spoilers.
The author gave us great descriptions that can easily transport you to the area, also loved the fact that the other couples including the Captain and Banks are all really involved and that we get to read more about them. Now that the series is over, really wish that the author would consider a novella sometime to let us know how the couples are doing…HINT, HINT, HINT!

I want a Tosin, can I have a Tosin? He is just such a sweetie, and while similar in some ways to his fellow Divemasters, he is different in so many others.
Tosin is who he is, and is the way he is, and while his friends have all found their soul mates, he is okay being alone, or finding someone, whatever comes his way. No great trauma or drama in his past, not all perfection, but nothing that he hasn't accepted as the norm. When he sees his woman, well, he is lost from that first glance. He starts then to take careful and deliberate steps to make her his, and while he leads the way, he adjusts to meet her needs. See, I want a Tosin!!
She has not had an easy way, but she accepts her way in the way of her culture. There are a few barriers she can see to making her way with Tosin, some actual and some emotional, but all very real. As Tosin gently prods her along, takes care of her fears and worries, you can't help but fall in love with her as much as you do with him
This final book in the series pulls everything together so nicely. It was truly sweet and fun at the end, kind of felt like a talk show "and you get a HEA, and you get an HEA - EVERYBODY gets a HEA!"
As the last lone wolf of The Divemaster, Tosin Ellis doesn’t plan on partnering up anytime soon. Then his friend Archer commissions an engagement ring for his fiancée. Jeweler Kahori Akama is sensual and intriguing. Kahori’s family in under the threat of a blackmailer, someone intent on ruining her business to lay claim to its valuable property. Once more, the crew of The Divemaster will do what it takes to protect their own. Especially Tosin, who realizes Kahori’s heart just may be his home.
I loved Tosin falling over himself when he meets Kahori. The Divemasters certainly know when they have found the one for them. Kahori can only see a short term relationship with Tosin because of what is happening in her life. Her mother abandoned her and her father when she as very young. The islanders also do not trust outsiders and want Kahori to marry on of them. Kahori being brutally attacked fuels the anger of the islanders against The Divemaster. This is my favorite of this series.

********************MUST READ THE OTHER BOOKS MAJOR SPOILER ALERT***************
I truly love these books!!! Tosin especially. I am so happy to ready his book and watch it feel like it unfolds in my head OK Jayne writes very descriptively. They are somewhere in the South Pacific. and Archer has a quest to meet this specific jewelry designer and Tosin follows hoping for a snack. of course nothing can go as planned around the Divemasters not even a simple buying trip.Luckily or not they have to meet up later and pick up the order. The Natives are restless around newcomers and Sabine was hoping to talk to the locals about a grow program. Ummm. Things were good then it all went to crap. Kahori got attacked which is unheard of in this area and now her Dad is missing. Tosin wanted to move her to the ship but thought it too obvious until reinforcements arrived. Can Tosin capture Kahori trust and love? What happened to her Dad?
