The sex in this book is hot. Max...wow! There are a lot of unanswered questions that I assume will be answered in this series. The authors made you care about these people and you want to know more. The cover is beautiful and the storyline is interesting and did I mention the sex is hot?

Maximus by T.S. McKinney & Elizabeth Tatum is the tale of a guy who has loved a girl for quite some time and now has a chance to get her. He has been trying for the past 3 years to get Samantha to give him a chance but she cannot get over losing the love of her life who was taken from her. His best friend has been trying to get her to be with him but she just can’t let go. She knows Maximus wants her but he is the best friend of the love of her life plus he likes to have not only women but men in his bed. Even though Maximus swings both way Samantha does know that he does truly love her. After a night where she once again shoots Maximus down she gets a piece of advice that allows her to give Maximus a chance. He gives her something she has never experienced and can’t get enough of him. The next day something happens that tears everyone up and brings Maximus to his knees. A good read that was entertaining but did seem to drag at times. The sexual tension is strong and hot. I have to say that there is another book to this story and I hope it answer some questions I have. There is much more I am looking forward to in the next book. I give this book 3.5 stars
