Unfortunately, Serenity did and it was the biggest mistake of her life! She fell head over heels in love with charming, attractive , slick-talking Elroy and instead of him giving her the happily-ever after that he'd promised her, he gave her much worse; a broken heart. And now somebody has to pay for the pain that he caused her. But nevertheless, she still loved him and she was determined to make him love her too. This book was so good. Serenity is a crazy ass chick. So many twists. @bmhardin1 you did it again girl!!!

This book was a great read. Initially, I was thinking oh ok this is another crazy side chick book like all the others.....but this book turned out to be very interesting with all of the twists and turns. Serenity has been in love with three years with the man of her dreams (or so she thought) Elroy. Elroy proposed to Serenity and she was well on her way to planning her dream marriage and having her family....until she finds out about his other fiance Kera. Yes you read right....his other fiance. Apparently Elroy is living a double life and when he picks the woman he wants to be with...and it ends up NOT being Serenity...she was determined to MAKE him choose her by getting rid of Kera...if only temporarily enough for her to get back into Elroy's life. Serenity will stop at NOTHING to get Elroy back...but she finds out that everything that glitters is not gold and sometimes people want you in their life for their own motives. She also finds out that Kera has more family ties to her that she could ever have imagined. DESPERATE was the perfect name for this book.

Very entertaining story by BM Hardin that I read in a few hours! I really tried to sympathize with Serenity but her crazy actions would not allow it. She was absolutely nutty! Elroy had no idea who he was dealing with. And then there was the twist...Loved it! Highly recommended!

Another crazy crew!
Law attorney Serenity is dangerous! Bullies who taunted young Serenity about her weight, transformed grown-up Serenity into a monstrous psychopath. Boyfriend Rodney burned up in a car fire because he dared to tell her that the sound of her fat flesh, while they made love, disgusted him.
Now that Serenity has caught new boyfriend, Elroy, in a series of lies, I shudder to imagine what she has in store for him.
Lots of twists and turns in this one.

Good book
The message at the end of this book is so true. People play with love all the time but never stop to think of the consequences. This book has a strong message. Serenity was not to be messed with. I think she made bad decisions because she moved too quickly. I'm still not sure how I felt about Elroy but I knew something was up with Kera. Serenity thought she was ahead of the game but rely ended up being played. This book will have you wanting to read it non-stop. The plot, the twist, the connections;all will shock you when everything starts coming together. I definitely recommend this book.

At first I thought Serenity was a crazy lunatic but as I got further into the book I realized that she was just a woman scorned who was so hopelessly in love with a man that she was willing to do any and everything to keep him. I loved this book. I was not expecting it to end the way that it did but it is definitely a great read.

I finished this book in one day!!! I was glad I didn't have to wait for part two, three and so on. It's time to get back to basics and let one book do for all. B.M. did a great job.

This was my first time reading a book by this author and I must say she is going on my author's list. This book was full of twists and it kept you wanting more. Great job B. M. Hardin!

Serenity’s love
Serenity has found the love of her life In Elroy. After helping him win a case in court they have become inseparable. That was all until she finds out the truth about her man. However, she is willing to fight for her man no matter what is at stake.
This book started off good but then halfway through the book slowed down. I had a hard time focusing on the story. This particular book didn’t intrigue me like other books by this author.

Excellent work!
Serenity was one crazy chic! Wow the limits she went to for revenge! Elroy was dumb as well as Mr. Ross! In the end I guess karma was served up cold blooded for real! I guess it's true desperate people do desperate things! A few grammatical errors, but a great read!

Quick and good
I had a feeling about Nate. Mann this was a good book..I got in quick & got out quick. I wonder still what was up with that Grandmother though..a story could've been spun about her too..

This wasn't my favorite read by this author. However, I always come to B.M. Hardin when I'm in need of some good ol twists and turns. Serenity was two types of crazy but she met her match. I felt the ending wasn't very climactic and sort if just ended.

4 Stars! !!
I enjoyed the book and the twists were definitely unexpected. However I pictured Elroy as an older man and not as he was described because of his name. Every character was full of deception. I gave it 4 stars because the book just draaaagged for me.

Tricky

Always Delivers!
This author is consistent. Her books are never dull. True page turners.

This novel had all kind of craziness going on. Everyone is a lying cheating lunatic is this book. I was so confuse at times. Just when I thought the plot couldn't get worse then something else happen. Good read

OMG....BM has done it again
Where do I start, that Serenity was something else. She loved her some Elroy and didn't even know him. Here I was thinking he was just a cheater when, he was just as bad as she was. I understand where Serenity was coming from but she used extreme measures to guarantee she got her ring && her baby. Nate wasn't nothing but a user and he played Serenity like a fiddle. She's thinking she's in control when all along she was a puppet in his show. That daddy of hers shocked me the most, in the end he got what was coming to him. I loved loved this story, BM stuck her whole foot in this story. This is a certified 5⭐️ banger.

Mouth wide open!
I don't no how u come up with these twists but OMG! The twist in this one was just as crazy as she was! Keira and Serenity dad! Nate being her dad! This book was sooo good! I'm mad that it's over. I kept thinking something was gonna happen to Serenity cause she was last certified crazy! This was so worth the wait! I might have told some of the story and sorry but had to!!!!
