This was a really good read even tho Audrey was getting on my nerves. Even if she didn't get with Antwan she need to leave Sean alone.

This book honestly gave me a headache... I think this is the first time that I have experienced a main character that had like little to no back bone... like none. I found myself literally screaming at my tablet for her to grow some damn balls, put her foot down, kick some ass, do something but accept this shit from this lame ass dude... but then Antwan appeared..
He was a great distraction from her being a doormat and it showed that she just simply needed someone to care, to actually love her.... this guy was rough but it just clicked.... and I wanted her to so badly to jump ship on sean... but logically if you have a choice between familiar and something that could be great but still unknown... you pick the familiar. So in a way I got it... just a little not much but a little... and so these two started to grow on me and it was nice to see how they have each others back.. and then the end... lol yeah the "to be continued"... I wasn't expecting it to end there. It wasn't like a OMG, it was just a simple..." Now how is this going to work"
I will be checking out the next book, actually looking forward to it, I just don't know if I could watch her interact with sean without wanting to barf.

The lyrics to his song
It took me a minute to write this review onre because I didn't know where to start. This book had me hook from the very first page. I loved Antwan and think he deserve to be happy. I like Audrey I just wish she would have left Sean alone alone. I can't wait for part 2 because I know Sean is really about to be in his feeling.

This was a good read even though Lyric worked my nerves. She should have gotten rid of Sean ass. He was horrible. Antwan was who she needed to be with, but she was scared. Can't wait to see what happens in part 2.

This book here took me on a rollercoaster ride. It was everything!! I love me some Audrey and Antwan. Even though Audrey got on my nerves being simple minded and naïve. She really let Sean make a fool out of her. I love Mariah, she is so outspoken and a real friend. Brandie is jealous of her sister and a thot. Fatima is a trifling dog. Karen and Ervin are very shady and snakes in the grass.

The Lyrics To His Song was a good read, the author never disappoints and always leave you wanting more. I usually don't like books with song lyrics, but I have to say it didn't bother me in this story especially since the lyrics were original. Characters were well developed and you wanted to love some and then hate the others. I definitely recommend this book.

Amazing
The Lyrics to His Song by Krystal Armstead is a good read. This is my first time to reading from this author. It's well written and page turner.
Antwan and Lyrics are my favorite couples. They have a similarly and concept for each other. I felt bad what's happened to Apollo. Sean and Brandie are my worst favorite characters in this book. I can't wait for part 2.

AWESOME READ
Audrey is in a lopsided relationship. She loves a man that is a lying, cheating, abusive, manipulative, and trifling bastard. After finding out about all he has done to her. It seems she is a glutton for punishment. Sean has taken advantage of Audrey in more ways than one by playing on her weakness she has for him. Antwan has had a hard life growing up and the only way to express himself is through music. However when tragic strikes he feels lost until one person refuse to allow him to give up.

Pretty Good Read!
This book was the first book that I’ve read by this author and it was pretty good. I would love to really get the back story of Antwan’s mom and dad tho. When is “enough is enough”? Audrey allowed Sean to completely walk all over her time and time again. Looking forward to reading book two.

So this is my first read by Ms. Armstead and I must say wow! I stayed up all night because I had to see what happened next this is not your typical hood love story but has elements of drama, forbidden love, and hidden desires that could never be denied. This was a good read but it started to get aggravating how much disrespect Audrey was willing to put up with when she knew what was going on. I hope there will be more of a come up for her in the sequel

With this type of chemistry they deserve each other.
The chemistry between Audrey and Antwan is fire. I mean she indeed the lyric to his don't but that Sean is a problem. This book kept me going and I'm hoping things turn around in book two.

Ms Lee was telling her the truth. Dang Apollo. I cried when Antwan broke down on stage. Mariah always had Lyric back. Brandie with her thot behind. Part two next

The person you are with never appreciates or understand what he has until the next guy comes along. Poor Audrey "Lyric" doesn't know which way to go. Antwan has no problem showing her the way... Cant wait for book 2. Sean is going to kill somebody. I don't know who, but that fool is crazy. He should have loved Audrey when he had her all to himself. Sean might be crazy. But Audrey's heart is literally part of Antwan! They have a bond that can't be broken no matter who she is with. I can't wait to find out about Antwan and Apollos Mother. She loved her boys. Karma will find Mr. A.j. That damn Antwan had to answer Audrey's phone. Sh*t is about to hit the fan.

That damn Sean wasn't worth a penny with his trifling self. It's a shame how Lyric loved Sean the way that she did. This was a nice read I just hope Lyric makes the right choice between Antwan and Sean. I swear if Brandie was my sister her butt would have been beat. Like who treats family like that? With friends like the ones Lyric had with the exception of two who could afford enemies. Hell with a father like Antwan's and Apollo's makes you wish that you were never born sheesh! he was a ruthless SOB. I Can't wait for part two.

Yes this storyline is bananas I'm flipping page by page not even taking a breath this is one well written story the characters the placement the action wow this is per entertainment nobody doesn't like my girl she sure got me in it on it and I'm ready for more each another ever going on with that outstanding storyline these twins although I feel bad for Apollo Antwan is coming along and I love the relationship that is forming between him and my girl I'm not going even mention her man because he not a man to me be gone out freaking standing

Once again, Krystal delivers a great read. It's filled with emotion, and I was drawn in and became a part of the story. I was feeling what I imagined that the characters were feeling. Audrey needs to get herself together before I swoop in and take Antwan for myself. I really do believe that those too belong together. I couldn't stand her relationship with Sean. I wanted to choke her for that one. All I need to know now is what's next?

Author Krystal Armstead, does it again. That captured my attention form beginning to end. While reading this book, I felt all kinds from laughter, to anger, to sadness. I can't wait for Part 2 to see what happens to Sean because him and a few others irked all of my nerves. Once again Krystal has left yearning for yet another one of her books. Kudos and your pen game is FIYAH.

Lyric had a second chance at life. She was very talented and bright. Sean didn't see the gem she was. Antwan was perfect for Lyric. Its like they completed each other. Apollo lived recklessly and his brother tried to warn him. I don't like the fact that A.J. don't acknowledge his boys. Karen is money hungry. Marian is a go getta I love her character. I hope Lyric makes the right decision when it comes to her happiness. Great Job

OMG
This book was amazing.. From the first page to the last I never lost interest.. This story was fresh and different.. Don't get me wrong it had the street element by it wasn't the normal drug dealer tale.. I enjoyed Antwan's character even to be was young he knew what he wanted and wasn't going to stop until he got it.. I like Lyric but I hate that she played the fool for Sean for all long.. Hopefully she makes better choices in pt 2.. Amazing job

This book has me wondering if this is what actually happens in the music industry. The things that Karen has gone through with her husband is horrible and heartbreaking. I can't imagine being married to someone who would do and let those things happen to me. And Lyric just needs to put a bullet in Sean's ass.

Explosive
Words can't express what Krystal Armstread does in her writing but she engulfs you and takes you on a roller coaster ride, that captivates you. One minute you're crying the next your laughing then sexual tension builds I can't deal but I love the ride none the less. One of the best authors thus far. I'm on pins and needles lady until part 2.
